I'm visiting family in Kansas City from LA and was recommended Tasty Thai and they were right! It's definitely a yummy spot for authentic Thai food. I ordered the fried rice with chicken and the pad see eiw with veggies both were packed with flavor and came in generous portions, plenty for two people. The Thai tea drinks were delicious and perfectly creamy the ideal complement to the meal. Everything hit the spot! Definitely didn't disappoint, and I'm happy to recommend this place to anyone craving great Thai food in KC.

Well, it's been a long time Tasty Thai. It was not what I fondly remembered. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The food, um, wasn't as good as I recalled. Perhaps it was the menu items we picked. The shrimp paste dumplings appetizer was tasty. The peanut sauce chicken dish I ordered was over cooked, but not piping hot. The chicken was cut in thin strips and it was tough, jerkyesque . The peanut sauce was warmish, grainy and too thick, like a sauce from a freezer meal, The flavor was good, the texture and temperature were not compatible for human enjoyment. The Pad Thai my son ordered was too sweat. We may try it again, and order something different, but probably not. $50 would have been better spent at Panda Express.

A disappointing outing to Liberty's only Thai spot. It had been a few years since being there, and I remembered it being quaint and delicious. An odd, flavorless vegetable soup was included with my lunch, and came out at the same time as the meal. If there's one thing Thai food normally isn't, it's bland, but this was straight out of white suburbia. The pad kee mao was confusingly sweet with prepackaged stale pieces of tofu throughout. A small spring roll was also included, which arrived cold. When I asked for the traditional spice rack, I was given a small packet of chili flakes and a pot of chili sauce. Huge red flag if you're on the hunt for authenticity. Perhaps this spot is thriving for the clientele it serves in a small KC town, but it pales in comparison to other offerings around the city.

This place is highly rated here on Yelp and I have to agree. I ordered cucumber Salad and mini egg rolls as an appetizer and pad Thai as my entree. The cucumber salad was amazing. It had cucumbers (obviously), onions and vinegar. The vinegar was slightly sweet. The bowl was so large I couldn't eat it all. My only complaint would be not enough onion. The mini egg rolls were good - nice and crisp with a really good thin sweet and sour sauce. The Pad Thai was different from what I've had at other restaurants but it was quite tasty. It was topped with a lot of cilantro rather than peanuts which is unusual. I liked the taste of it but if you're not a fan of cilantro, you may want another dish. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean as they spray each table with disinfectant after each customer. This will definitely be a go to for me here in Liberty.

Ordered online and picked up Pad Thai with tofu. Quantity for lunch portion was decent but quality was just ok. Tofu was fine but it was all noodles. No bean sprouts or peanuts. "Hot" choosing result in one dab of crushed red peppers on the side of the bowl. Crab Rangoon on the side was a good surprise.

Really like this place! The crab rangoons were just ok but their main dishes were great! The pad see eiw was great. Plenty of meat. Also got the basil fried rice meat combo and that was amazing. Good portions and really cheap too! All good things!

New meetup group of 10. Small storefront along strip mall. Maze-like parking lot, over full. FUEL pad see ew (drunken noodles) very tasty & included one egg roll. ATMOSPHERE furniture contained spot with skimpy Asian decor. Restroom spacious & clean. Mediocre ability to shuffle with my mobility device. SERVICE waiter was prompt & kind. He moved quickly. Great food & experience! Recommend for dates, fam, tourists, & small groups (they don't take reservations).

Not sure why is pretty good everything I eat there and absolutely disgusting every take out order.. was exceptionally bad this last time around 7/24/24 ordered tofu as protein on 2 of the dishes there was none, 2 pad thai just gross then some other dish That I think I ordered by mistake, egg rolls are terrible,crabrangoo terrible sauce awful....$65 worth of food we threw away
