I mean come on...what's not to love about a fast fresh restaurant that's full of flavor?! I do not at all understand the dismal 3 Star Rating, I mean for why? Cava is always fast, always delicious and always filling, I mean is the price a tad above "regular" fast food, yes but justifiable. It's a few dollars more than Chipotle and the options are far above and beyond its competitors. Since Cava is a restaurant where you must stand in a line and order your food at a counter, assembly line style. There's bound to be days where Cava is slower, especially probably during peak lunch time but, I've never had an issue around dinner time. Also, I can't tell you what to get because I switch it up every time but, there are a few must orders. I love the options of being able to choose three scoops of different dips however, I agree with the masses the crazy feta is a must! If you aren't spice advertised then definitely spring for the harissa one. If you thought things couldn't get saucier you're wrong because you can also choose other sauces to drizzle, again, I always go with the hot harissa but, there are a ton of options. Between the two chickens, one is an up charge, for once I don't choose the harissa one (I don't think it's worth the up charge) but, if you're willing to splurge then definitely go with the lamb meatballs. As far as toppings go, I always get some of the tangy pickles because they're unique Persian cucumbers pickled to perfection. If you're a feta fanatic like me there's plenty of the salty soft cheese here to add to your bowl or pita. If you're less adventurous, like my mom, they also have a prefix menu of options to easily order from. She always enjoys the Greek Chicken Pita.

So, I've been driving past this place and at first, I wasnt sure I'd like it. But I ordered online and gave it a try. The food prices are scary. 15 dollars for a pita? Well, its fine when its freakin' 5 pounds, lol. The brownies are tasty, but not for $2.65. IT'S LITERALLY 2"X2". My wife got a Chicken & Rice bowl. GEEZ, its HUGE...My only issue is that it was missing the side of pita that was supposed to come with it. So, I ordered thru the app and drove through to pick it up. I'm used to checking in at a sign then pulling through, but I guess Cava doesnt do this, which is fine. I pulled through and a gentleman answered the window pretty quickly and asked the name on the order and came back with everything (well, ALMOST everything). I asked if the brownies were there and he was like, is it?...so I looked in and saw them...figured everything else would be there. We were missing the pita, but it's not worth calling about or driving back for. So, will I come back? Sure, I really liked my spicy chicken pita, but I would remove the pickles. They are good, but not my style on my order...But I will come back. $38 for a spicy chicken pita, chicken & rice bowl and 2 brownies. the saving grace is the sheer weight of everything. Ill definitely be back...I just hope that the service is better than I've read about in other reviews.

Odd setup-customers should to walk to the left between the dining tables to get to the place where they start an order. A sign should explain the flow. If place had been busy, it would probably have been obvious, but we went to the right which was apparently wrong. Ordered a child gyro meal for a late afternoon snack. It came with a protein, one dipping sauce, choice of carrot sticks/pita, beverage. Didn't understand the "dressing" would be dumped all over the gyro sandwich portion, which made the pita bread all soggy. Didn't finish the child meal, happy I didn't spend money on an adult meal. Place is trendy since it's new, but I won't be going again soon. I'd go to the Jersey Mike's next door.

This new location served up delicious Mediterranean food at reasonable prices with mediocre service during my dine-in lunch visit. My Greek salad ($11.05) was fully customizable and included generous portions of tasty grilled chicken with fresh veggies in a large 8" x 2" bowl. I liked the good selection of ingredients including many healthy options like supergreens. I also liked the good selection of unique iced teas, juices and fountain drinks. I found the dining area to be clean and new with modern styling, contemporary background music (a notch too loud) and a patio, while the service was accommodating, but not welcoming and somewhat glum. I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up for the delicious, healthy food at a reasonable price.

The customer service at this location is so Mid to say the least. on two occasions, each time is worse than the last.. my frustration is even when I put my order in on the app. I get excuse about why it's not ready when I pick it up I could designated time. I'm not one of those people who isn't understanding about the responsibilities of the staff, but on both occasions, there was only 1-2 customers.

The food here was outstanding! Alejandro and Austin provided exceptional service--both were friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. They also both did an excellent job of continually making sure it was a clean environment

Absolutely love Cava- but this new location has a lot to learn on customer service and team work. The location in OP has it down to a science. Even while I was eating there I saw 2 people leave in the middle of being in line. So many employees and only one was taking care of people. Not a lot of team work happening. The check out girl looked angry like we were bothering her. Food was okay. I felt like portions were off and dryer than normal. Customer service is everything, unfortunately we will keep going to the Overland Park one.

I am from Los Angeles. We have Cava's all over. This is a place I can count on to get good, clean food. Not so in Mission. The first person (greeter and apparent manager) we saw from a distance had his mouth gaping open. We thought to leave but it was freezing and we were so hungry. Upon approach the big guy, was barking at me to decide. He scratches his face with the back of his gloved hand. I switched bowls to which he breathes a loud sigh and slaps his recipe card down, mouth open. Where is this dude's mask? Why didn't he change gloves when he used the back of the hand to wipe his brow. Why didn't I ask him to. I feared more wrath. He barked the rest of the items on his list at me. My friend, standing behind me gets a totally different response, well wishes for a Happy New Year - I thought, so what, it was obvious character change. Still with the mouth wide open over bowls. He scratches the side of his face. Thank goodness he had tongs. We left after a few bites. This is disgusting and we feel Cava would want to know about it. This was my friend's first visit and his last. Please put him in a food safety class or something! While we were seated he calls 2 employees over and begins lecturing them in a loud voice. Using 'I statements' like, ' I WORK' as if they don't. I felt sorry for the 2 employees, as being scolded in public is straight up harassment.
