Excellent food: I liked Mama's Mole Encheladas. All 6 of us enjoyed ourplates. Authentic Mexican fare. Friendly service. A great place for a family gathering.

We went here tonight bc of the high rating. I can't imagine why it has over 4 stars with so many reviews. Most importantly, a friend expressed her tomato allergy and the server said the queso dip didn't have any tomatoes. But after eating some, another person came back to say it had rotel. Someone who maybe was the manager came by later and said that if someone says they have an allergy, they can accommodate. But...that's not what happened. Instead of comping my friend's meal in some attempt to have her come back, they comped the cheese dip. Regardless of this poor experience, I still would have only given 3 stars. The chips didn't taste particularly fresh, the salsa was meh, and the margaritas had some strange carbonation. My alambre was mediocre and my husband didn't particularly appreciate his Christmas enchiladas. Ironically, my tomato-allergic friend actually liked her Mahi tacos. We won't be back again.

This was my first time dining in at Los Gallitos and I had a really good meal! Our service was friendly, attentive and quick. Our food tasted fresh, was hot, came out fast and had a lot of flavor. The cheese dip was good/unique, it's not an espinaca or a Tex mex cheese dip, it's definitely different than what you'd get at most Mexican restaurants. I really liked it! We were basically the only table here in the middle of the afternoon so the ambiance was really quiet, but it was super clean and they've done a nice job with this new restaurant.

I know I wrote a review on this place when it was pretty new here. I wish I could find it. I had given it 5 stars and raved about it. Now I am changing this to 2 stars. Because the last few times I tried to order on line, the site never works seriously. Today I called them and ordered 2 taco salads. I picked them up and I realized the quality of these salads were not good at all. First of all not much lettuce at all and most of what was there was not very fresh and some was soggy. And the hamburger had absolutely no flavor at all and seriously I might be wrong, I do not remember any cheese on it. For 30.00 dollars, I might try elsewhere next time. I do realize like everything else, they are having a hard time making their food affordable. Nice place though.

An affordable and high quality Mexican restaurant with a small, local vibe! My friends recommend we grab dinner here and I was shocked that I'd never been before. It was outstanding! The weather was so nice and I wanted to sit on the patio but there were already several people taking advantage of the beautiful atmosphere so we chose to sit inside where it was less crowded. The team serving us was phenomenal, with loads of table touches and thoroughly going through the specials. They have daily specials and seasonal specials in addition to their tried and true menu. I really liked that because it felt like no matter what you went with you knew had been vetted to make the cut! Some Mexican restaurants have 10 page menus and it can be overwhelming. I went with the Chimi platter and got the Birria as the meat option. Soooo flavorful!! Made me want to try their taco plate next time. I also got the aqua de Fresca horchata. To quote a popular Latin phase: GASOLINA!!! And we ordered the Jalapeño Queso Dip which was excellent, just the right amount of spice and very little heat. I can't wait to go back again soon. Mission is so over looked by there are places like this that have been hiding here for decades. I really love stumbling across them!

The staff was very friendly. This place is Tex mex not really authentic Mexican. It was fairly busy when we went. The food was good. Ask for the hot salsa it's delicious. The one they serve is basically tomato sauce with some cilantro very mild. It's very lively in there. I like the ambiance of the place. It's very bright and colorful in there.

This is now my favorite place for texmex. Ask for their hot salsa if you like a bit more spice for their complimentary chips and salsa. Got the soup originally, and about 10 minutes later, was told the soup was out. No problem, for the carne asada tacos instead. The meat was juicy and tender and very flavorful. I opted to get it on corn tortillas and they were able to accommodate my gluten restriction. Service was excellent and they are very kind to help you navigate through the menu. We got checked up on often and our waters were always full. Surprised at the end to look at my check, they had offered me quite a big discount on my meal because the soup I originally ordered was out.

The salsa they served had quite the flavor! The best I've tasted in a local Mexican style restaurant. The entire meal was delicious. The staff did an excellent job and checked on the table often. At the end of service even had an other person of staff ask if everything was good. They have a sit down bar with an overhead television set, booths and tables. Definitely coming back to this restaurant for more.

We wanted to try a new to us place, so we went in for an early dinner on Cinco de mayo. As expected, it was a little busy but we were seated right away. The place is very colorful and festive. Our server was prompt, took our drink orders, and we were served chips and salsa immediately. They have a huge assortment of margaritas with many flavors and tequila options. We just had their house but they were very good. We were both eating a little light and ordered taco salads. I had the seasoned chicken and it was wonderful. I also loved the light flaky shell they were served in. We will go back to try more items on their menu. I want to try their street tacos.

Went here for a late-ish dinner on a Sunday when we were craving Mexican food and margaritas. This place did not disappoint! They were open until 9, we got there just before 7. We were seated right away. There were plenty of places to sit, even if they would have been busier. I ordered the mole enchiladas which had a hint of sweetness and were delicious. My fiancé ordered the Mexican flag enchiladas to try out three different kinds. We each did two rounds of margaritas. I loved their fall and Halloween menus! We each ordered two themed margarita drinks. Everyone working there was pleasant and efficient. It's a little bit of a drive for us, but great for a late night Sunday meal.
