I loved the food the Sushi was amazing! The buffet had everything my palate craved and I didn't get through everything because I went back for the same servings! It was clean and cool inside service was on point. Planning to return the food was "craveable"

The options were good and had what I usually expect to see at a Chinese buffet. They had a made to order hibachi grill so you can have fresh noodles customized to your tastes and a sushi bar on the side. Each table had a little garbage that you could put waste into. Something to note, when we went on a Saturday, it was the seafood buffet pricing regardless of if you ate seafood or not! Overall, the food quality was good and they had hot soup which I always enjoy in Chinese buffets!

We used the app Too good to go to get a surprise bag of food here and it comes with a box of a little of everything for less than $7 total. When we went to pick it up we noticed this is a buffet place and in the weekend they have seafood buffet. I would only pay for the surprise bag here! And maybe try the buffet once but I wasn't impressed by it's size and selections.

This small Chinese restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite spots! I first discovered this place on Too Good To Go, ordering a plate full for lunch or dinner for $6-8 dollars. Totally surprised when the flavors were also amazing!! Looks a little run down on the outside, but the interior is fresh and the staff is so friendly. Because I knew the food was tasty, we came for the lunch buffet and we definitely enjoyed our meal. They do politely ask that you only take what you plan to eat in order to reduce food waste.. if you want to take your leftovers home, there is an upcharge. But I've heard that this restaurant may provide meals for the local homeless population.

We were looking for a place for our Ohana to eat since we missed breakfast. My wife found this spot so we decided to come. The outside looked a little old but when we walked in it was a modern and very nice looking. We ate the buffet and it was amazing. We had the sushi, hibachi, and the buffet. The food was good. Coming from Jefferson City this buffet stands out above anything we have there. The service was very good and made you feel welcomed. When we come back to KC we will be back for sure. The atmosphere is vibrant but still family-friendly, and there's plenty of seating so we didn't feel crowded even during a busy time. The Mongolian grill is easily one of the best features of the restaurant. You get to pick exactly what you want -- meats, noodles, veggies, sauces -- and watch the chef prepare it fresh on the grill right in front of you. The ingredients are well-stocked and super fresh, and the grill masters know what they're doing. Our plates came out hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I especially loved being able to customize everything to my exact preferences. Then there's the buffet, which is seriously impressive in both variety and quality. It's not just a random collection of foods -- everything tastes like it was made with intention. From the classic Asian dishes like General Tso's chicken, fried rice, lo mein, and dumplings to sushi rolls and more American-friendly options, there's truly something for everyone. The hot food was actually hot (not lukewarm like some buffets), and everything was replenished frequently so nothing sat out too long. A major highlight: crab legs on the weekend! This alone is worth the trip. They were well-seasoned, fresh, and not overcooked -- which can be hard to find at an all-you-can-eat place. The staff made sure they were refilled often, so you never felt like you had to rush or fight for them. Such a nice surprise and an added bonus to an already great experience. The service was also outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was polite, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about the experience we were having. Our drinks were refilled without even needing to ask, plates were cleared quickly, and we never felt rushed. In terms of value, it's hard to beat. For the price, you're getting an incredible variety of fresh food, including made-to-order options and premium items like seafood. It's a fantastic spot whether you're going with family, on a casual date night, or just want to treat yourself to a feast. We'll absolutely be returning soon and bringing friends with us next time. Wolcano Teppanyaki has officially made it onto our list of favorite North Kansas City restaurants. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time and seen this place so many times and how it took over a chain store. I didn't expect anything much from this place, but once we were inside, it's renovated pretty well and modern. They have a chinese buffet, habachi, and sushi station. Food was decent and fresh. Prices is fair too. Would come again.

Food is outstanding. The price is right. Might be best deal in town. Friday and Saturday all you can eat. And yes crab legs on the buffet. $21.99 total price. With hibachi and sushi and a full buffet. The service is great as well. Nice and clean. I will be going back many more times.
