Food - consistently good for decades. Service, excellent balance of being attentive without being overbearing. Ambiance - wood laden local pizza restaurant without the cookie cutter chain decor/vibe. Been going here off and on for decades. Food, service and atmosphere are spot on. This time we got the excellent and superb mozzarella sticks, with a crunchy batter, beautifully stretchy mozzarella, and a very better-than-average marinara sauce, Pizza was Fuzzy's Favorite - A double layer of Pepperoni and Mozzarella Cheese , with Classic Sauce, Fresh Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Cheddar Cheese and Oregano. With the classic crust option it fits perfectly between a thin crust and a rather thick crust. For those fans of "one bite everyone knows the rules", very little flop. Great combo of flavors between the sauce, pepperoni, peppers and cheese. Only petty complaint is a non copious amount of grease, bur not a small bit either.

0/5 stars I'll begin by mentioning I paid just under $30 for this "pizza". Had 3 friends over ready to watch Chiefs play and our first bite was quite honestly worse than the cinnamon challenge. The half pepperoni & half pepperoni-beef "pizza" that I purchased for my buddies and I was the driest "pizza" I have ever eaten in my life. Three (3) bites into slice one (1), I started missing my chicken, rice, and broccoli. It eventually got to a place where I actually stopped eating it because I was uncomfortable enough to deem it a safety hazard because i nearly choked on the "pizza" due to the dryness. Friends confirmed it was the driest "pizza" they have ever had. Surprising to think this was a top "pizza" place in the Parkville area. Never seen 4 guys pass up a "pizza". 0/5 stars To add, we ended up ordering Tony's pizza from the local gas station which turned out to be a 2 Star in my book to put it in perspective. Never thought I could even give a Zero (0) star until today. This "pizza" that I bought for a special occasion, after a long work week, failed me miserably. To the point to where I would rather not even eat it, that is poor in my book. Do not waste your hard earned money here. Their product does not satisfy and it lacks even the slightest bit of quality. Good takeaways: Young lady at the register was the only highlight. She offered high quality service and did her job correctly. Maybe they should let her cook the "pizza". Can't wait to never eat or think about this pizza again.

We were seated pretty quickly. The service this time wasn't super great. I had asked to add pineapple to our order and that was missed by the waiter. Had to ask for a refill. Wasn't really checked on, so wasn't even able to flag the issue with the order until we had finished. We were seated on the second floor and the views were really good !

We stopped at Stone Canyon for lunch on a Saturday. It has an old-fashioned pizza parlor vibe. We were seated immediately and had a super friendly and attentive server. Seriously, she was great. We started with some mozzarella sticks, and they were really good with a perfect cheese pull. I ordered the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich with onion rings. Pretty simple order, well-executed. One daughter ordered a small pizza Florentine minus onions, and the other daughter ordered spaghetti. Both girls enjoyed their meals and would order again. I do think it's a bit pricey for what we had. With the tip, it was just under $100 for lunch for 3. But then, everything is a bit pricey these days.

Downtown Parkville is quaint and historic with plenty of options on where to eat. But pizza is almost always a winner, and Stone Canyon Pizza sits smack in the middle of downtown, just waiting for you to try. The entrance is right at the pizza counter where the aromas of hot ovens and baking pizza crust grab you in a big hug. When you go around the corner into the dining area, with a small but stocked bar, you have plenty of spots to sit. Sure, pizza is in the name but the menu is sprinkled with other options, any and all being solid choices. I have sampled their Pesto Turkey sandwich, grilled and delicious, as well as their Stone Canyon Club, which is piled high and served toasted. Fabulous stuff! But I come for the pizza, and specifically, the lunch special. For twelve bucks you get a mini-pizza, choice of salad or side, and a drink and believe me, the value is way higher. Stone Canyon is churning out their dough multiple times a day and serves up locally sourced toppings where possible making for a *very* KC pie. I would suggest one of their menu specialties like the Grand Canyon or the Italian Delight and you'll likely be taking some home. Pro tip: get extra sauce, because it has just the right amount of sweetness and tang and that Stone Canyon crust can hold lots of toppings. The service is friendly and local and they are always ready to make a suggestion. Pricing is very fair and the value absolutely outpaces the cost. Parking isn't horrible (there is a huge lot by the waterfront less than 200 yards away) and the ambiance and charm of the small downtown is everpresent. Whether visiting or a Parkville resident, Stone Canyon is a stellar dining choice.

I visited Stone Canyon Pizza back in 2016 for a dine-in experience and had an average time, but I once again found myself in need of a pizza in the Northland, this time in 2024, and I thought it might be worth the gamble to return and try it again. Afterall, it's a local spot, and reading through my last review I think a lot of my average rating was due to the service we received that night. At any rate, flash forward to today, we were meeting my cousin and her family in the Northland as they were going to babysit for us so we could have a night out. Our daughters are great friends and we figured we'd do a pizza dinner together before my husband and I headed out the door to catch our show. My cousin recommended either Minsky's or Stone Canyon and I really wanted to give Stone Canyon another try - and I'm glad we did! We ordered ahead for carry out to be ready right at five (I know, I know, we are fully embracing the life of having young kiddos!) and I was really impressed when we got there right at five it was coming out of the oven. I often worry when placing online orders for hours ahead of time if it'll actually work and this one was a slam dunk. We got the pizza to my cousin's house and all six people gobbled it up and enjoyed every bite. I can't say there is anything that really sets Stone Canyon apart from its competitors, aside from a charming location in downtown Parkville, but what I can say is that it's a really solid and damn tasty pizza. Their house made ranch was really great as well. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this spot and look forward to visiting them again at some point in the future.

we placed a takeout order, when we got home, we realized they gave us the wrong pizza. When we called, they offered no help and said it was our fault for not clarifying our order. Then, 2 days later, we noticed that one of their servers added money to the tip that did not match what we signed on our receipt. Essentially on of their employees stole money from us by falsely added extra money. wrong pizza, no offer to rectify, and the company stole money from us. Never visiting Stone Canyon Parkville again, they have lost a customer. Very upsetting and poor business.

Haven't been here in a while basically because it's too hard to pick up carry out there due to parking had to wait for a TRAIN to get over the train tracks i ordered pizzas. We had two pizzas small ones and it was $50 so still a little pricey compared to some of the other pizzas, places around town But the food was good

Stone canyon is by far the most accommodating and delicious pizza this side of the Mo! The owner Kevin and all his staff are welcoming and support our small community immensely. From hosting a volleyball pizza party for PHS to catering meals that leave you wanting more...stone canyon for the win every single time. Go check this quaint and delicious spot asap. You won't be disappointed

First timer at Stone Canyon Pizza and have to say, it's really excellent pizza. We tried the Hawaiian (Canadian Bacon and Pineapple) on thin crust and it was delicious. Our waitress was awesome, and you have to love the homey feel of Stone Canyon. Definitely a treasure in Parkville!
