They were going to get 5 stars until... About 6am there were 2 cars with homeless people in them. One had a blonde lady in a puffer jacket that tried to get the code to the bathroom by asking everyone she saw, including me and my husband. Eventually someone let her in. There was another junky car parked nearby that also clearly didn't belong there. So I was happy to be leaving because otherwise felt like my stuff would get stolen if I didn't watch it closely as we were packing up. I had called the "after hours" number twice about the lady before she got in but was directed to leave a message each time. All that said, I felt safe until then. The bathrooms and showers were clean and also plentiful. We played the mini golf there, which was free. We walked down to the Yellowstone River, which was steps away. It was stunning with lots of cool rocks. The one-room cabin was good. A code to get in, which was nice. Air conditioner and little fridge and desk with chair. Bunk beds and also another (full size?) bed. The curtains were good at blocking out light. The little shop had coffee in the morning but like all other koa's not until 8am. We had a fire pit at our cabin. I recommend this place but watch your belongings and don't let vagrants in the bathroom.

Tight sites, on top of your neighbor! Concrete curbs on each side and our trailer is small, almost touched the wheels on both sides. You have to walk on your neighbors side to hook up water and electric. Our site #32 had no sewer. Felt like a packed sardine and bees everywhere. Book that the Yellowstone RV Park instead as drove thru and wider sites and much nicer park. We will book there next time instead. Avoid this KOA if you can, we won't be back.

Do not stay here if you are allergic to bees. Front desk Employees were rude and unprofessional. One told me I was "speaking gibberish" when I asked about an extra charge on my account. She denied that the charge existed and then later gave me completely different answer. It's over priced and there's no space between sites.

I do not have enough good things to say about this place! It is 10 out of 10! Our van broke down and we had nowhere to go, rolled in at 3 AM. Picked an open spot and then went to talk to someone in the morning. Every single person who works here is incredibly kind! They were helpful, figuring out how to have us hold a reservation for as long as we needed to not knowing if the van would get fixed. They also gave us great recommendations for mechanics. The campground itself has everything you could possibly want! A great playground for the kids, a huge dog park for your dog. I really nice pool that's heated. A miniature golf course! But it's also steps from the river for plenty of outdoor adventure. I seriously couldn't have asked for more , while I spent most the day with the kids while my husband was at the mechanic trying to fix our car. Also, everything is so well-maintained! Looks like they do fun activities as the summer progresses! if we ever come through Billings again we will stay here. So grateful to have found this place in our time of need!

After a mix-up with the neighboring campsite, KOA quickly accommodated us with a spot that same day. The cashier was extremely helpful, answering our questions about the area, as it was our first time in Billings. The bathrooms were clean and conveniently designed as individual shower-bathroom combos, which we appreciated. The campgrounds were quiet, clean, and well-maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff made no mention of the recent issue of high theft. When we had a $600 electric scooter stolen and brought it to their attention they said everything had to be approved by corporate and they wouldn't approve getting a gate or putting up a sign warning people if the high amount of theft they've had recently. No cameras either even at the entrance. The campground was nice but not a great area and they are both not doing anything to prevent crime or warn about crime.

We intially did not plan on staying here, but instead next door at the Yellowstone River RV and Self Storage. We had called and they told us that we could stay there even with a tent. When we got there to check in, they told us it was RV's only. Thankfully the KOA was right next door and we were able to quickly and easily get a site. At this was in October, it was pretty empty which was nice, we were able to get a RV spot since the tent sites did not have power. Sites were clean, and bathrooms were fantastic. Big, clean, and decently hot water. The representative at the front was extremely helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. They had a bunch of little amenities, although it was too cold to experience, they looked like fun things. Big space too, I'm sure this is busy in the summer time.

This is an excellent KOA. It has a nice little mini golf course in the middle of the plat. One might think it would be a noisy place to visit if it is proximity to Billings, but the reverse was true. It's quite quiet here. Excellent service and support facilities.

No laundry when we were counting on it, water turned off in the morning when we needed to shower and never even offered a discount of any sort for incomplete facilities. Also, inexperienced staff telling us we can reserve a site prior arrival when we can't. Great looking campground but Will never come to this campground again.

This KOA is glamping all the way. Doris at the office was friendly and efficient. They have a doggy park, miniature golf, swimming pool, a toddler playground, an ice cream stand and the bathrooms are amazing. They have individual unisex bathrooms with private showers and lots of hot water. The entire bathroom is tile and as nice or nicer than some residential bathrooms.
