Although someone can stay here for one or two nights, My Place is a longer-term stay hotel. The front desk staff is the right kind of helpful, friendly, willing to answer questions - and ask the right ones. The beds are comfortable enough and have four pillows: two soft and two firm. Housekeeping comes by only once every four days, but if you need more towels or the garbage emptied before then, ask. There's a kitchenette - a two-burner cooktop, a microwave, sink, dish soap, a coffee pot and a toaster and a full-size refrigerator. It is closer to an efficiency apartment than it is a hotel. What it doesn't have automatically stocked are dishes and tableware. Not sure how that makes sense when you're traveling, though. Anyway . . . MyPlace also has a coin-operated laundry room available for the guests who stay for longer periods. The pantry has food for purchase for cooking / heating in the microwave or on the stovetop, or to snack-on during the day. There is no café or restaurant on premises. If you want breakfast, for an added charge they will deliver your pre-selected, pre-packaged items to your room. I prefer to try (and did so) local restaurants. The internet worked well each time I accessed it -- day and night both. There are 90+ channels on the tv -- some good and some not -- so, just like home. Leave the bed unmade and it stays that way -- also just like at home. After comparing with the other longer-term hotel a short distance away, MyPlace has some things it does better than its competition.

We stayed for one night, our room was clean which is why i gave two stars. However, the upstairs neighbors were so loud even after complaining to the front desk. We were then woken up before 6am to kids yelling in the hall and someone in the parking lot sitting there playing loud music for 10 minutes straight. If you're looking to rest up after a long drive, I would not stay here.

The absolute BEST customer service I have ever had. Nice clean rooms, coffee in the am, and quiet with plenty of trailier parking. This is not a 5 star motel so do not expect that, this is a nice road trip motel, with an excellent value for what you get. Highly recommend

Spent just a night here, on a road trip from Chicago to Seattle. The room was clean and odor free. Good stuff: The unit has a kitchenette large fridge with freezer space. Would be great for extended stay. 2 burner electric stove top. Tons of cabinet space. Beds were soft and room was clean. Shower pressure was great! Coin laundry. They have a small convenience shop...sodas, fruit, snacks, microwaveable meals. Not so good stuff: I don't know if the doors are thin, they seem heavy because you can hear people slamming their doors, but you can hear people talking in the hallway...clearly! In lieu of the pool they have a coin laundry, I guess. No ice machine, the lady said each unit makes its own ice in the freezer. It took forever to get ice. They have complementary coffee/tea in a common area, but the coffee was not very tasty. Breakfast for a nominal fee, we opted out. Not much around the place...DQ down the street. Check in was great, Cheryl was fantastic. The morning was a bit of a debacle. When we got to the front desk, no one was there. It was 7:30 am, you'd think that someone would be there that early...anyway, several people were standing around waiting to check out, they needed receipts for work. We ended up calling the toll free number for assistance in locating someone. Yes, there was a sign that said dial 0 for assistance, the phone rang at the desk...we also let it ring for several minutes. After about a total of 30 mins for me, about another 30 mins for the guys waiting before me...a bunch of people came out of the "back", a small blonde lady had some attitude and explained that we should have dialed 0, when we told her we did, she responded that the phones must have been out of order. Not the best way to start the day.

I love this chain as a person who travels 80-90% of my time and most of not all of that is with my 2 well behaved and trained small dogs! Because this is such a new chain to the hotel/Motel market they are all clean and fresh and have the most comfortable recliners ever!!! I stay with My Place every chance I get because I know I'm pretty much guaranteed a clean stay with new furnishings, beddings, and carpets; and I love the kitchenette in each room. Always comfortable beds, easy locations for both on and off highway access and access to food and shopping options. So far noise has not been an issue at all for this chain and I've stayed at many across the west.

When we first saw the hotel with its brand new cleanliness and promise of a nice kitchenette, we were excited to leave our previous hotel junior suite, which only had a microwave, for a relaxing stay in what refers to itself as the "the newest and best." While it is clean and quite spacious, you can already feel that the only reason it's clean is because it's new. The first issue we noticed was that the bolt on our door wasn't properly aligned and wouldn't latch; therefore our only means of security was the privacy bar lock, which required at least one person in the room at all times. Once we began loading our things into the room, we noticed the quality of the décor was rickety at best. The drawers of our one small dresser were already a little difficult to open and close smoothly. More importantly, our kitchenette was missing the promised microwave (we were told [when we called the front desk] that we were the only room with the "broken" microwave, but we hadn't been warned in advance when we were choosing which room to reserve), when we called to request cookware as an alternative to heating our dinner, we were informed that they don't provide any (who travels with their own cookware?), finally, the large burner (there is only one large and one small burner) didn't work properly, so we had to purchase a pan on our own and cook our dinner on one tiny burner. Even more disappointing, there seems to be minimal insulation/noise cancellation. We could hear the three college boys across the hall from inside our room. The hallway had a strange Indian/Chinese food odor, which may have been escaping rooms via the one-inch gap at the bottom of each door. In addition, even though we were on the top floor, footsteps from surrounding rooms were disturbingly loud. We decided to crank the air conditioner up and let it run to cover the noise. We had it set to 60-degrees to ensure it wouldn't go off for a while but the air was hitting the nearby bed and not dispersing into the room, so it was shutting off before the room even began to feel properly cooled. On top of all that, the free WiFi was constantly at full bars but never able to load more than one page before requiring fourteen reloads, and even then it wasn't guaranteed to render a webpage. When we attempted to bathe, we found the tub drain was broken, and water filled and would not leave without us reaching into the bath, grasping the drain, and prying it up from the tub. The twist that belonged to that duty was broken and detached. Not to overlook the positives the hotel offers, it is pet friendly and doesn't charge an outrageous pet fee, which is nice. And, as stated above, it is quite spacious--a family of three or four could fit nicely in a double "full xl" room. The bathroom we had (handicapped) was roomy and the quality of the countertop was especially nice. The beds were comfortable and the linens were silky and very clean. There are downy soft pillows and slightly firmer foam/springy pillows for a variety of options. The view we had looked out onto the highway but also the hills beyond, which wasn't unpleasant. Should you want to block out the view for late sleeping, there is a nice modern blind rather than the typical plastic curtain. Overall, for our experience, the hotel should rate 2/5. If you had a room without our issues, it may rank 2.5/5, but that rating is mostly based on the freshness of everything. With time, especially with the lower than average cost for the area, this hotel may not be able to maintain its already slim value for price.

My Place in Billings is a three year old motel with some features for a person planning a stay longer than a day or two. I made the reservation using a booking.com. A one night stay cost$84. I arrived on an extremely hot day. I had been in the sun all morning on the motorcycle. When I asked the desk clerk for some water she pointed to a refrigerated case in an adjoining space and said that the water was there. I couldn't see it from my position so she pointed it out a second time. I then found out that it cost $1. This is the first time I have ever been charged for water. (I have stayed in roughly 21 different motels on this five week trip.) One motel actually gave me bottled water upon arrival. I went to my room which was nicely cleaned. The TV had subtitles which I didn't want. Back to the front desk... A maintenance man offered to correct the problem which he did in about ten minutes. Back to the front desk. I asked where the ice machine was. I was told that there is no ice machine. I was given instructions on how to start the icemaker in the in-room freezer. Yes, there is a 2" square notice on the freezer giving directions. I should have known that the motel didn't have an ice machine like all the other motels I stayed in on this trip. Another question for the front desk. Is there a breakfast included? Guess what? NO!!! But you can buy breakfast items. I should have known. My room came equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, a two burner range, a ten cup coffee maker, and a microwave. Also included in the room price were two packages of coffee. I had to ask how much water to use. The front desk clerk said ten cups. There were no pots, pans, or silverware provided nor could you even request them. At Extended Stay America you received a list of those items and could get them from the front desk. Plastic plates, etc. are available. I would not recommend using one on the burner although it might work on low heat. Two stars are a gift due in part to one desk clerk who called a fast food restaurant to find out their hours. Thank you. If you cannot guess, I won't be staying at any My Place again.

Only reason why i wouldn't give it 5 stars would be because it doesn't have a pool or even a gym and they dont have continental breakfast. It is a clean hotek and the vibes were great.They do allow pets and they do have a kitchen in your room great bathroom space and beds are comfy front desk was friendly and there are attractions and food near by.
