We love this extended stay hotel. This is our second visit and we'll probably make this our regular hotel when we come to Billings to visit relatives. The rooms are actually suites, with large kitchens and baths, a living room, and a bedroom. The kitchens are funished with a few dishes, utensils, pots, and pans so that you can actually cook a meal. Shayla, the manager, is very helpful, when we see her. That's not a dig, we just tend to arrive at erratic times and she's been very good at making sure we get the documentation we need to get into the lockbox so we can get our keycard. The Carlin is situated in the middle of a couple of blocks of the historic district that's been renovated in Billings. It's nice to get up, walk to breakfast, then window shop. It's the best location to spend a few days in Billings.

I'd highly recommend this establishment as well as any other "short or long" term rentals they offer. I rented a couple of extended stay rooms for two of my employees and couldn't be happier. We worked with a lady named Suzanne, there is NONE BETTER than this professional! She has made herself available at the drop of a hat and is a true joy to work with, she takes "customer service" to an entirely different definition. Their location gives you access to the downtown area that has come back as a major attraction the last few years. Step out of the "box" and give this historic part of Billings a try, you won't regret it!

The big plus about the Carlin is their happy hour specials. Draft beers are just 2 dollars and well drinks are 3. The band that played was a bluegrass band and they were fabulous. The atmosphere was intimate and casually classy. The service was good and the price was even better! Did not get a chance to try their food so I will have do defer on that one.

I never stayed here or ever reserved this hotel but they said they are charging me $120 "cancellation fee" for nothing. I think this place is a scam of a front for something else....
