Place is good. I'm from Seattle so we have these kinds of places everywhere and this place does stay true to what a teriyaki spot should be. Been seeing reviews of old heads giving this place a bad rep but you gotta ignore these people. If their food isn't beef or pig then they think it's disgusting. I got the katsu while I was there and it was fried really well and the chicken was juicy. Rice was also cooked perfectly and the side of veggies is good too. Only thing I would like to see if a tiny bit more salt but that's just me. I would also like to see a little more katsu sauce in the handouts they got but that's also a preference. Inside of the store is nice but I do know it had a chaotic start seeing as it's something new around Helena which is devoid of anything that isn't a burger. Overall, it hit the spot and if you are from Seattle or like teriyaki then you'll definitely appreciate it.

This place just opened and I wanted to try it. Upon arrival the line was decently long and no one had gotten their food. Red flag but I ordered a small meal anyway. After my order they began telling people it would be a 15 then 35 then 45 minute wait. It seemed like people were getting their pickup orders made quick but most all the inside people were waiting. After waiting for like 30 plus minutes and seeing a few people get food in-front of me I went up and asked. Apparently my order just got lost and it was the third time that had happened today. Anyway they gave me a refund which was nice but until they maybe are open for a while I wouldn't recommend going if you want something quick.

The food was pretty good. Ordering on the app was easy. The restaurant was busy today, and I went in for my order, I ordered at 3:15, my food wasn't done until 4:00. I was annoyed by the heavy headbanger rock music, played at way too loud to have a conversation. Only one person on the register, probably could have had more staff up front. I noticed several orders waiting, Door Dash, and several Door Dash delivery people waiting. It probably isn't worth it to pick up food here for Door Dash, if they have to wait 45 minutes. The spicy sauce is pretty spicy, so go easy for kids. I had the tofu, which was fried. I was surprised, because that was not mentioned in the menu when I ordered it. I was expecting fresh tofu, but should have known better. It was fine, and one of the few places in Helena to even get tofu.

So happy to finally have Teriyaki in Helena. The first time the food was slow (just opened) and the second time it was dry...but I didn't give up and they have worked out the kinks. The last two times the teriyaki was on time and yummy. Will be back.

This was our second time eating here. The first time was great. But this time was entirely different. First of all, I ordered online so I could pick it up. I arrived on time, yet I waited 20 minutes. There were 2 people who walked in to order and got their orders before I got mine. Now, on to the order: The first item was a regular steak bowl, instead, they gave me a large orange chicken. The noodles were gummy and cold and the chicken was flavorless and cold. The second item was a teriyaki chicken bowl with white rice. The chicken was good, but they gave me fried rice that was cold. And gummy. We also had crab Rangoons which were over cooked and cold, inedible. Also, a chicken egg roll which was overcooked, cold and inedible. Some sauce had spilled inside the bag which got all over everything making a sticky mess, probably because they jammed a big order into one bag. Very disappointing for a 60.00 meal. We won't be back.

I've been to your restaurant a couple of times before and had great experiences, which is why I was looking forward to dining with you again. However, my most recent visit was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling frustrated and upset. I ordered the tofu bowl -- the same dish I've enjoyed on past visits -- but this time, the portion was shockingly small: just 4-5 pieces of tofu. When I asked about it, I was told, "This is the normal portion size, 4-5 pieces depending on the bowl size." I mentioned that I had received noticeably more tofu before, and was told that those previous visits occurred during a "training period," and now the portion sizes have been finalized. That explanation was hard to accept, especially when my friend, who ordered a steak bowl, received nearly double the amount of protein in their dish. Even they were surprised by the clear difference and the excuses I was given. On top of that, my rice was watered down by overly soggy vegetables, which made the entire dish unappetizing. When I raised my concerns, the staff did end up giving me additional rice and vegetables at no cost -- which I appreciated -- but it didn't fix the core issues of the inadequate portion size, inconsistent standards, and disappointing quality. When the manager looked up my order and said, "I see you paid $15 for your bowl? I recommend just paying for extra tofu next time," it felt dismissive and tone-deaf. For $15, I expected a satisfying and well-prepared meal, not to be advised to spend even more just to feel like I got what I paid for. This experience has unfortunately taken away the excitement I once felt about dining here. I truly hope you'll take this feedback to heart and re-evaluate both your portion consistency and how customer concerns are addressed. (My bowl is the tofu, and my friends is the steak)

Today was the third time we attempted to try teriyaki madness in Helena Montana. It's newly opened and the first time we walked in the restaurant was about 25% full and they took our order and it took 35 minutes! The second time we went in they told us it was gonna be over 45 minutes because they had a large online order of 125 orders! Today was the third time we went in at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and they told us it would be 35 minutes. The restaurant had less than 10 people inside eating. We're done.!!!

I have gone a few times now since they opened and every time is a different experience. I excused opening day being crazy and the food being Burnt but the on going problem I'm seeing is time management and one of the workers. I ordered online 10 minutes after they opened, I showed up 20 minutes later and was told it wouldn't be ready until 12:15 but they put it so it would be priority/faster. I waited until 12:30 for my food to arrive. I tried asking a lady with black hair that was up in a bun who was giving people their orders about mine about halfway through and I got a nasty response. So I sat back down quietly and waited. I wanted to cancel my order after a while because it was getting ridiculous and I was then late for an appointment. Not to mention my bowl was half filled. I hope that this gets resolved and things get better but at this rate it's not an enjoyable experience and the food is such a hit or miss

Somehow, I managed to hit this place on opening day so my review could change later. The food was pretty good and the portions were generous. I had a double protein bowl with steak and chicken on yakisoba noodles. I like that the meat was lightly sauced and not swimming in too-salty sauce. I skipped the broccoli this time, but it was an option. We got an order of crab Rangoons and they were good. Keeping in mind they just opened today, the food was good and will give Panda some much-needed competition. The service was...chaotic...to say the least. I counted 10 people working, eight of them in the small kitchen. Hopefully they will trim the crew a bit and smooth out the process. The wait time and order management was ridiculous but it was the first day so I'm sure they will get better. I'll definitely go back, I love teriyaki and it's nice to have another option.

I had an issue the required management input. And the owner was on top of it. So, do express your concerns. The owner is in fact, trying to create the best customer experience possible. I'll take that type of owner over someone that ignores their customers any day.
