I work in the Mitchell building and frequent the cafe regularly. I have tried almost everything on the menus and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh, of good quality, made to order. The staff is efficient and always friendly and upbeat. I would recommend the O My Gatto for the best breakfast sandwich in Helena and it is an extremely good value for the price. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches, specials, or pizzas. Need something made a little differently - just ask. If it is at all possible they will accommodate you. Fridays are Mexican day. Their nachos are to die for - your choice of toppings and either beef or chicken. My husband and I had a restaurant for many years and are very picky about our food and the service. It takes a lot to impress us, and we are definitely impressed with this place. It is truly a gem.

This cafe/coffee bar is located in the basement of the Mitchell Building, which houses numerous State offices. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and provide a surprisingly large array of choices including breakfast sandwichesand burritos, pastries (from the local Sweet Flours Bakery), house-made pizza, soups, salads, subs, wraps, and daily specials like BBQ and a rock-salt baked potato bar. Service was quick and efficient, and my sandwich had an excellent filling-to-bread ratio, with decent but "the usual" ingredients. It was also extremely cheap. I'll be back to try out the specials sometime, and if you have business around the Capitol, or are visiting the Historical Society museum, this is a good, simple, quick, cheap place for lunch.
