Hate having to pay a convenience fee to pay my bill online, but it's worth it knowing that the payment will be applied.  I had to fight for a year to get a check posted to my account and have penalties removed.  I went there in person and the employee who physically took the proof of my cashed check never applied it to the account.  I called and was answered by an extremely rude woman who sounded like she hated her job and should have retired centuries ago.  I was finally able to get it straightened out by sending an email to the commissioner.  From now on, I will pay online and keep fingers crossed that there aren't any computer glitches.  The staff here is inept and rude.  I guess they know people in order to get these jobs.

They've added $100 to my water bill this year for treatment compliance.  This is to remove carcinogens from the water that Grumman aircraft and the United States Navy put in the water. Why am I paying for Grumman's poisoning of the water table?
