I have never stayed at this hotel in my life and I have lived in long island my whole life.... when I say this hotel deserves TEN STARS!!!! It's the best! The customer service was 🔥 the rooms are BEAUTIFUL and spacious, they even have a personal loung on SITE of the hotel, a store that they open up for you within the hotel when requested and they have a restaurant!!!  Their Valet staff are professional   and everyone treats you with respect. The beds are comfortable  out of this world! I cant WAIT to stay here again and i HIGHLY recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!!! GREAT JOB GARDEN CITY HOTEL!!!

Great location! Be ready to wait while you check in definitely under staffed at the Front Desk. I booked for two nights with a package that promised early check in and one free upgrade. Do not get your heart set on either.
A two day conference bumped me from
getting either with no apologies. Upon arrival in my room only one lamp out of three were in tact and working so the room was dark. They did fix immediately after I went down and brought it to their attention. The restaurant and staff there were a 5 Star! I highly recommend eating there. The pool and workout facilities were clean and we enjoyed them.

Hotel room was okay. Super outdated!
The restaurant was great. Everyone was really nice!
Just make sure you don’t forget anything in the room after check out.
Apparently house keeping gets to pick what goes to the lost and found and what doesn’t. My 80 dollar face was did not make the cut unfortunately.

Part 2 - I called the hotel twice to follow up on this. It doesn't matter if it’s something valuable or just a “used face wash” the fact is - it was left in the room and disappeared. BUT thanks for your reply it says alot!

Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a while. When we checked in, it was 3:45PM and our check in time was 4:00PM. We booked two rooms of the same category and were informed only one room would be ready at that time. A little after 4 we were told that the other room was ready. It was on the second floor despite the fact we requested a high floor. The room had one small window in the corner and was on the second floor next to the event space. It felt as though you were staying in a basement. When we asked if any other rooms were available since this was drastically different from our second room in the same category, we were informed that they would not move us to any other room because they didn’t have the “staff” to freshen up the room when we had just used it to change after a long trip and our room not being ready on time. The management was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful, especially a gentleman named Anthony, who was very rude on the phone and offered no solution to make the situation amicable. Upon checking out, I had a conversation with the front desk staff who continued to insist that the room was acceptable and that they would be willing to take $50 off and that they never do that, so I should appreciate what they’re doing for me. I was also told that the reason I didn’t like my room was because “you saw the other room you booked which was much nicer.” If that was the case, why were both rooms considered the same category and the same price? Very disappointed and surely will not be returning or recommending this hotel to others.

Angelina Hachoose and Chris Squires were exceptional staff the night I stayed at the hotel for a wedding .
Friday night December 13,2024.
Angelina was able to accommodate me when I needed to reserve another room for a family member.
Angelina was respectful, polite and just pleasant.
Chris helped me when I said there was a  problem he took care of the problem with no hesitation at all.
I thanked both of these employees and asked for there names because I wanted to put in a nice review for them .
They both went above and beyond that night and they both deserve to be acknowledged  for this .
Angelina and Chris are exceptional caring staff at the front desk .
