I purchased a gas powered winder from a local dealer.  After the first use rolling up electric fence wire the shaft bent.  Poor construction and design led to the shaft to bend at a hole drilled to drive the roll right at the hanger bearing (where all the stress of the weight of the roll sits).  I talked to the dealer, his response was "oh ya they just do that".   So I contacted hotwoods directly, with basically the same response.  They offered to sell me a shaft.  My response was why would I want to buy a shaft every time I use this winder.  If it bent rolling electric fence theres no way it can roll barb wire.  I asked for a return/refund, they laughed.  Ive never purchased an overpriced paperweight before, i guess I have a $3000 honda engine. They also blocked me on facebook and messaging after they refused to stand behind their product.
