We had them install a heat pump and furnace in July of 2024 when ours failed during a heatwave. The sales person we worked with was great, they sold Trane equipment which is what we wanted, and we felt good about our choice. The install was pretty insane. The installer working outdoors on the heat pump was excellent and clearly experienced. The installer working on the furnace inside was not experienced and was not supervised. There was a lot of chaos and confusion, finally at some point during the install they had a supervisor come and help with the furnace install. After a short time with the unit (after install) we realized it was much louder than it should be, we contacted Star City and they came back out. The blower was not adjusted corrected at install, they fixed that, and then it was fine. We are now in November, over five months after install. Yesterday we needed another unrelated repair in the area of the furnace, and we discovered a new problem related to the HVAC install- when Star City removed the humidifier that had been attached to the old furnace, they didn't seal the pipe off correctly, and it has been slowly dripping onto our water heater and onto the floor (luckily in a utility room close to a drain) since July. Honestly, until now I actually may have used them again as I know we have another until that will be due to be replaced at any point- now I wonder if there are more issues with the install that we are going to find out about in the future. No matter how great the equipment is, the quality of the install is just as important. Totally unacceptable- I do not recommend Star City. I have attached photos so you can see the line that was cut and NOT sealed, the glass bowl underneath is there until a plumber can get here in a few days.

We contracted with Star City to replace our aging furnace and heat pump. We had a slight delay for funding (our fault), and Daniel and crew were very patient while we sorted it out.  When the day came, they arrived prepared and ready.  The entire install took several hours, fully expected, however they were still fast, professional and efficient.  When finished, the crew gave us a full tour of the unit, what they had done, and how to operate it. We are very pleased with the service and the work was very professionally done.  As a handy guy with tools and who mostly knows what these things require (and pretty high standards), I was very impressed.  I highly recommend Star City for your needs.  No drama, just honest, efficient and very professional work. Well done!!!

Brandon Price with  Star City Heating & Cooling was Amazing! I was without heat on a Friday afternoon. He had to come out after hours, go obtain parts and then he explained why and what he done! He also showed me exactly how everything works and what to do to maintain accurate functioning of my furnace and humidifier unit! I was so impressed with his professionalism and courtesy that when he informed me that Star City also offers electrical and plumbing services I told him to have them call me on Monday!
