Chicken was very old, tasteless and completely dried out. Hard to eat it was tough. To go order didn't even include salsa - noticed this after we got home that There was no salsa for their dried out chicken. We paid $27.43 for 8 pc leg and thigh. We won't be retuning here again

I ordered the double chicken, tostada salad based on a picture outside where there were 3 nice slices of avocado on the picture poster. Mine came with one thin slice. Boooo! Well at least they recovered their chairs recently so the chairs don't look as hideous as they used to. If you ask for their avocado salsa, they act like it's coming out of their pocket and paycheck. . I liked it when they had a salsa bar. Pre Covid. The food you get in store does not look like the food in pictures. False advertising ! Boo! And to boot their prices are high for what they are giving a a portion. Once again, doesn't look like the pictures. I probably won't be back to the Carson store again.

went through the drive through and got the queso chicken burrito, service fast and pleasant, the taste was good but I think it has a little missed potential. The queso is a little bland, could use some more oomph, little more depth in flavor. Some of the chicken was really overcooked and there was a bone in my burrito. So 3 stars. Otherwise not bad, would prolly come back.

Terrible, terrible service. The teenager behind the counter was giving me a hard time despite having proof that they messed up our order (multiple times I might add). The food was fine but I would not go back to this location based purely on the service. Not worth it.

I was in drive thru today as I was waiting for my food I saw the cashier girl put her hands down her whole shirt then gave me my receipt, the girl next to her was blowing her nose, the lady by the register was wiping her forehead & face. The employee clocking in was touching his face as-well all in the kitchen I don't understand how they are voted #1 Didn't even wanna eat gave the good to my doggies‍‍

I ordered takeout today and it included: 2 original pollo bowls 1 double chicken bowl 5 pkgs corn tortillas 1 small corn 4 salsa fresca 3 avocado salsa The employee did not put the tortillas in the bag until I reminded her they weren't in the bag. When I arrived at home I discovered that the corn was missing also. We were the only customers there and there were a couple of other employees near the drive through window speaking Spanish that didn't realize one of us understood what was being said, they should not be talking smack about customers.

Service was unhelpful, uneducated about their product/price, failed to keep display board updated, and couldn't speak English. The food price was misrepresented. Staff could care less and hid behind language barrier when questioned about order and cost. Will never come back again! Ordered a 4 piece chicken meal and asked if I could get thighs. Cashier said leg and thigh or breast and wing. He did not advise there was a price difference. The board did not have a price listed under leg & thigh, just 11.99 between the two columns, which I later noticed after inspecting it in detail wondering why I was charged $16.66. As I don't frequent this place I was unfamiliar with their board presentation but, needless to say... it was misleading. Apparently there are 2 different prices for the different parts of the chicken. After reluctantly paying, thinking I didn't understand (which I didn't) I took the receipt so I could see what I ordered, then came back, and asked probing questions to which the cashier was absolutely no help. He got his manager who barely spoke English, took a moment to look at the receipt (she was obviously confused too - probably at why I'm questioning a couple of dollars difference, but hey I'm not rich either) and said in broken English "its because you drink." To which I replied, "Its a meal. The doesn't the drink come with it?" In my frustration, I can' t recall her exact response and I couldn't understand it anyway; I just walked away in frustration with the general impression that I was just screwed over and they hid behind a language with inept customer service, and smiled at me like I'm a tourist in another country and this is how it's done, and there is nothing I could do about it. After visiting the website I found the drink does come with the meal, and had the staff kept the prices updated on the menu board, I would have been able to make an "educated decision" as to what I wanted and was willing to pay for. Oh!... and the price out the door would have been $15.05. So congratulations El Pollo Loco, you got the better of me... A whole whopping $1.51. That just cost you all the business that I will ever bring through your doors for the rest of my life. Hope it was worth it. Oh! And furthermore... anytime I'm with a group of people who want to go visit any of your establishments, I will actively lobby them to another business because of this experience today. All that for the price of an extra $1.51 that you fucked me over for with your shitty service, failing to keep your display boards updated, training your staff to know their product to better guide your customers, and utilizing language barriers to say, "well too bad!" Good luck with your current business model! See you all at KFC
