I recently dined at Carson Kitchen in Las Vegas and had a delightful experience. This restaurant is also known for its shareable plates and great cocktails.  We ordered the Young Beet Chopped Salad, Pork Belly, Secret Sunday Chicken Sandwich,Baked Mac and Cheese, and for dessert, the Glazed Donut Bread Pudding. To accompany my meal, I chose Piper’s Choice, their unique take on an espresso martini.

The baked mac and cheese was a standout, with a smoky flavor that truly elevated the dish. The glazed donut bread pudding was airy and delicious, making for a perfect ending to the meal. Piper’s Choice was a delightful drink that complemented the flavors of the meal.

The Secret Sunday Chicken Sandwich is a popular item at Carson Kitchen, as noted by other diners, but it’s nothing to write home about.

A local gem! Every dish we tried was a winner! We don’t eat carbs but found plenty of options that made us happy including two amazing salads!
It’s a BUSY spot and we didn’t have a reservation at 4:00 in the afternoon so we opted to sit at the bar and Kendall our server was lovely and we were happy to sing her book.
They have created a homey and unique vibe here that has real warmth and genuine human connection. If we lived here, this would be one of our top 10 spots.
Nice to know that in “sin city”, there is a touch of “home”.

This is a first. I give this restaurant 5 stars across the board. My friends brought me here and I was impressed! The food was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was great outside at night. Our server was nice! SHORT RIB STEAK was the best piece of meat I’ve had (no pun intended) in 10 years! The drinks could be cuter and a little stronger but other than that, I’m impressed.

Vi blev sittande och omedelbart bortglömda. Många servrar öga oss men ingen hälsade oss alls - 15 minuter gick & min man närmade sig mannen som hade satt oss att fråga om en server. Servitrisen kom över bad om ursäkt sa att ingen tilldelat oss att ha en tuff dag etc. det händer, ingen stor vi sa - lagt order. Maten kom inte på ett bra tag och då dyker en man upp med min dotters Mac n cheese. Ställer ner den försvinner och vi väntar - 5 minuter går och jag säger till min dotter snälla ät det börjar bli kallt (hon väntade på att vi alla skulle serveras innan du gräver i. ) Sedan ca 5 minuter senare är vår tilldelade servitris tillbaka med min sons hamburgare. Som svar på våra förvirrade ansikten säger hon: ”Vi tjänar som det är förberett.” Okej. Klargör fortfarande inte varför förrätterna inte kommit till vårt bord men okej. Tiden går - och min mans korta revbensspjäll anländer och då får sonens flickvän sin kycklingsmörgås. Ytterligare fem minuter och en av våra förrätter kommer. Jag får i alla fall äta ett ostron 35 minuter efter att min dotters Mac och ost kommit. Då, halleluja får jag min öring! Några minuter senare kommer vår andra förrätt (supergod men bränd baconsylt och halvbrända baguetter - allvarligt kunde ha varit episkt om det inte vore för den brända smaken. Ändå njöt jag av det helt och hållet. ) Så konstigt. Vid det här laget finns det bara en annan inomhuskund förutom oss och killen som dukar och dukar tallrikar runt som en galning. Precis som att smälla ner tallrikarna. Han kommer förbi för att duka bordet bakom oss och istället för att sträcka sig mittemot, skuttar han in mellan det tomma bordet och vårt och hans rumpa fortsätter att knacka in i mina barns huvuden medan han gör detta - och jag måste säga att jag dör försöker att inte skratta högt åt komedin om det hela. Jag önskar dem dock lycka till eftersom maten (esp mac&cheese & bacon sylt) är riktigt bra.

Djävulsäggen var inte av den här världen. Atmosfären var utmärkt för en restaurang som inte ligger på Vegas strip. En dold pärla nära Fremont Street. Min mamma älskade räkorna scampi och jag älskade krabba med mjukt skal. Jordanien vår server var mycket vänlig och utmärkt i sitt jobb.

Jag upptäckte denna pärla av en plats under min Fremont rundvandring erfarenhet och cirklade tillbaka efter att det hade gjort ett gott första intryck på mig. Jag sidoögde henne nog lite för vem är vid sina sinnens fulla bruk framhäver denna typ av maträtt när man har smaskigare ljudalternativ som gyro tacos eller bakad mac n cheese? Plus att jag normalt INTE är ett stort fan av denna grönsak men hon övertygade mig om motsatsen. I grund och botten en lita på mig flicka... jag kommer inte att styra dig fel typ ögonblick. Och oj, vad hon hade rätt. Jag tycker att detta var en av de bästa sallader jag någonsin ätit i mitt liv. Så beröm till dig Chloe för att du uttalade dig och starkt förespråkade för denna maträtt. Det hade varit ett stort misstag från min sida att ha förbisett det på menyn. Och bra jobbkock. Om du är en lokalbo, och inte har besökt denna restaurang ännu, vänligen gör det omedelbart eftersom denna plats levererar stor tid på matkvalitet, smaker och övergripande atmosfär.

Jag valde denna restaurang baserat på de positiva recensionerna. Maten var helt utsökt. Vi satt i baren och jag såg kocken och hans assistent laga beställningarna. Köket var mycket rent. Det var ganska häftigt att se på när de rörde sig i köket och de var så lugna och ingenting verkade skaka dem eller störa deras arbetsflöde. Min man och jag delade regnbågen blomkål och IT var så gott, vi hade alla svart ris och oxtail risotto och IT var så krämig och salt och läcker, jag skulle definitivt rekommendera denna restaurang. Matsalen är ganska liten så de rekommenderade att göra bokningar. Jag insåg inte detta innan vi gick men de satte oss ändå snabbt i baren. Jag skulle definitivt äta här igen.

När du besöker Fremont området, hittade jag denna dolda pärla på TripAdvisor. Jag ville ha något annorlunda och vi ville någonstans att sitta ner bort från centrum kaos. 

Vid lunchtid och Utan reservation, vi var snabbt fel. Cory var vår server som gjorde några rekommendationer som var klockrena. Vi började med ett par lokala brygder och bestämde oss för några av de delade tallrikarna. 

Vi beställde de stekta gröna bönorna som hade en fin krispig tempurasmet och serverades med en färskost och peppargelé ”sås” för doppning. Enastående! 

Vi har också gyro tacos. Inte exakt vad som fanns på den... nötkött av något slag men en fin crema på toppen. 

Näst på tur var de brända korvarna. Japp. Varmkorv. Inte direkt sire vad som fanns på dem men en söt, honung grillsås och tillagad till en trevlig röding serveras med några pickles skivor och en ranch dressing. Du skulle aldrig veta att det var korv. Fantastiskt! 

Vi fick en gratis sallad (sa att köket strulade och gjorde en extra men jag tror att de gjorde det eftersom vi var första gången) men oavsett, det var utsökt. ! Jag kommer att utelämna något men jag tror att det var grönkål, rödbetor, mandarin, pistagenötter, getost och flera andra saker som lät udda men som tillsammans var en riktigt god sallad. Jag har ALDRIG ätit rödbetor men jag skulle beställa den här igen... även om jag inte beställde den från början.

Mitt sällskap på fyra var nedlåtande mot restaurangen för att fira en födelsedag vid lunchtid. Den här restaurangen är känd för sina signaturcocktails/mocktails och säsongsbetonade måltider. De djävulska äggen till förrätt var att dö för. Jag åt rödbetssallad och mintjulepmocktail och andra åt kyckling Caesarsallad. Caesars var så gott om att vi var tvungna att skaffa hundpåsar. Alla var utsökta! Servicen var mycket bra men vi kände oss inte stressade. Vi har varit här för lunch innan och kommer tillbaka igen!
