Very good. We were here because a chef recommended it to us. Every single plate is great. I love the scallop ans the mushrooms. We added one more mushroom skewer because it was unexpectedly umami. The desserts are also great, we had Matcha crème brûlée and pomegranate shaved ice, not overly sweet and delicious.

The food is incredible here, the tuna sashimi and foie gras rice dish is amazing. I’m visiting from LA where is a lot amazing Japanese restaurants but RUKU still blow my mind. Everything is perfect, is 100% worth going.

We come back to this place every time we're in town.

We always get the suggested house specials and a few items on the menu. You can also tell the server what kind of fish you like, and they can make suggestions based on your presence.

You can never go wrong with the grilled pork cheeks.  They also suggested Kodai as a good grilled sweet fish, and they were right on the money with that.  Don't skip the stone cooked wagyu either. They set the steak on fire while it sizzles on a really hot stone. So good! Can't wait until we go back next time!

I was here a long time ago for omakase, and it was quite delicious. So I made another visit recently when I was in town for a show. The food is good but not that special anymore. The best thing that we had was probably the fried chicken which was juicy and crunchy at the same time. The grilled foie gras was delicious as well. There is also a nice selection of beers, wines, and sakes. Service is attentive. The space could be updated a bit. The section that we were in was quite hot.
