Ive had burger king many times before. Came to this location during my work lunch ordered a vanilla iced coffee and a snack wrap. I've had both of these before and they're pretty good. However today, the coffee tasted like it had cleaner or vodka in it. It was bitter and I had to throw it away. The drive through workers were so sweet and kind.

This happened a couple months ago around august , but it still sticks with me because of how the manager, Alexa, acted. I came by to grab dinner for my family, and there was a small mix-up with my order nothing major. I tried to explain it, but instead of helping, Alexa got defensive and acted like it was my fault. She even rolled her eyes and told me, "That's not what you ordered," even though I showed her my receipt. What really bothered me was how she talked to one of the employees, I think his name was Aron. He was just trying to help and be polite, but Alexa snapped at him in front of everyone. You could tell he felt uncomfortable, and honestly, I felt bad for him. he quietly fixed my order and it only took a minute. He handled the situation way better than his manager did. It's just disappointing to see someone in charge treat both customers and their team like that.

This review is for the manager Alexa, extremely rude. I ordered a family meal and while still at the ordering area I asked for everything to be "fresh off the broiler". The young men that work the window were super nice and understanding. Alexa however was rude telling me that "next time you need to say before your order anything, now I have to re-start your whole order". Mind you, I just paid.. she then proceeds to tell the drive thru attendant that he needs to hold me at the first window because of my mistake.. and I apologized.. and you could tell they were also uncomfortable by the way she was speaking to me.. then I received my food not that long after that convo I had with her. I got home (4mins away) and all the food was cold. So it wasn't fresh off the broiler. I wouldn't have been inclined to write a review if Alexa didn't scold me about how the process works for Burger King.. so much for "have it your way".

This is another great Burger King, that I often stop at on my way home. Very friendly staff, clean inside and out. Quick and efficient service. The food has always been delicious too!

I've been to this particular Burger King about 20 times, as it's the closest one to my house, however may have to consider drive further to the other one. At least half the time , the order has had something incorrect, either the food is cold, or the fries are hard, almost can't eat them, or the burgers are wrong, even though I put how I want it fixed, or the item is completely wrong. I don't want anything free, just want my order as I order it, and especially HOT

HORRIBLE!!! Do not order here! I placed an order for pick up way before they closed i paid and everything, I arrived to the menu box and no one answered, I waited and waited and no one came; so I went up to The window and the worker at the time saw me, shook his head no and proceeded to ignore me, I stayed for a few minutes thinking maybe he went to go get someone, I tried calling the store to tell them I was there for a pick up but no one answered if kept ringing and ringing, THERE WERE 3 WORKERS, all in which ignored the phone. he finally came up to the window looking annoyed as I show him my phone since he refused to open the window, he looked dead at my pick order looked up at me and said no while shrugging his shoulders, he then proceeded to turn all the lights off, I applied for refund and just left. Super unprofessional, horrible workers, do better. Hire better people!

The Pecos at Windmill Burger King. ****. **** Reviewer's Disclaimer: When reviewing fast food restaurants, I review them as a different category than casual dining. ****. ***** Since the late 1970s when Burger King opened their Stony Brook, New York location, I have been a fan of "The Home of the Whopper." That speaks volumes that from the time I was a second grader watching the first airing of "Diffrent Strokes" to a middle-aged man writing Yelp reviews that I never tired of Burger King and its signature sandwich: the Whopper with Cheese. Discouragingly there are an innumerable number of badly managed locations that undermine the delicious food. Some locations may be solidly managed during one shift then poorly during the other. Fortunately my experiences here have been positive. I think that a major reason that I never left here frustrated is because my visits have been in the morning and early afternoon when there is a management presence. And all of my visits have been dining in. However, there was one recent instance where the friendly kid who took my order mistook my order for my brother's. Burger King has a humongous menu just like my appetite when I walk inside. During lunch hitherto this review, I have ordered the Whopper with Cheese meal minus pickles large. It tastes equally as delicious today as it did in the 1980s. That is saying something. I regard it as a wonderfully peerless sandwich. I consider it so deliciously unique that a frozen foods version would fall far short of its greatness. In contrast to some fast food restaurants, Burger King fries are flavorful. They are another Burger King staple I never got tired of. Yet even more delicious are their onion rings that I substitute. For added flavor, I add the zesty sauce and it is "zesty." In similar fashion to the majority of Las Vegas Burger Kings, there is a Coke Freestyle machine. This saves me calories because it serves hard to find sugar free colas that I appreciate including Fanta Strawberry Zero and Coke Raspberry Zero. Burger King serves more than delicious lunch and dinner. Their breakfast is equally tasty. Since the early 1980s when my dad started off our summer Lake George vacation with breakfast at the Bohemia, New York Burger King, I have been fond of their breakfast platter. I would also grow fond of their Croisanwich with the round potatoes. Dating back to the days before Starbucks Mania, I have savored Burger King Coffee. When I had breakfast here, it was just as good as it was during the Ronald Regan Administration. Although I have been here plenty of times since 2005, of late my visits have been in conjunction with my hikes on the Pittman Wash Trail. This location is a quarter of a mile north of the Pittman Wash Trail which provides a nice hiking stop. And of late, it is one of the fast food chains offering indoor dining during the Covid-19 pandemic. Following social distancing guidelines there are different protocols. It appears that every other table is open. There is a sign that alerts the staff when they need to sanitize the table. The lobby Coke Freestyle machine is off because the staff serves the beverages from behind the counter. At the counter, there is partition glass. The customer exchanges money in a bucket. Of course there are the social distancing circles leading to the register. Across the socially distanced tables, the indoor playground is temporarily closed. Regardless there is a good vibe, as patrons enjoy the gift of being able to dine in a restaurant while eating delicious food. Throughout my years of visiting the Pecos at Windmill Burger King, I have had zero issues with bad service or poor cleanliness. Then again my visits have been during the morning and early afternoon when there is a management presence. This location exemplifies why I am a fan of Burger King. This review explained why. My experiences here leave me optimistic that when I am an old man, that I will continue to be a fan of the same fast food that I was a fan of when starting out life as a little kid.

The worst!!! Everything was cold! Paid for cheese and tomatoes on chicken sandwich, didn't get. Also the chicken had two top buns. Paid for cheese on fish sandwich, didn't get. Will never go here again. Such a disgrace, as a former team member of Burger King.

I went yesterday to get a breakfast sandwich combo. No egg. I received my food and keep driving to my destination. Then I opened my bag and found a egg,cheese sandwich.No bacon, Unwanted egg.So I took it back and they said we can't replace, breakfast time just ended. No good customer service.I Will Not ever go back to that location. ALWAYS check your order.

If I can give zero stars I will. Asked for no meat whopper and all I get for $6 is 1-2 pieces of tomato slices and lettuce. Worst place to eat no cheese either they charge extra for a piece of cheese too.
