A hidden gem in Henderson !!! It is a newer Italian restaurant tucked in a small strip mall, you will find easy parking and a friendly welcoming when you walk in. The space is not overly big, but it still felt cozy. It definitely has its own unique charm of tradition and family values. It is very clean and inviting. We have met the owner and he is very friendly , dedicated and truly passionate about his restaurant and the food that he cooks. A huge fact for us is that the pasta is actually homemade, Every day made from scratch, which is very rare these days at the restaurants. But you can definitely taste the difference. It's not overly processed or full of extra additives. The pasta has just the right amount of softness and al dente texture. The menu offers many different Italian favorites. We have ordered : The Cacio e Pepe , it was rich and decadent. The cheese used really made this dish so flavorful and filling. The chicken Marsala was also very delicious, definitely one of the best and most favorite dishes on the menu. We didn't have any desserts, because we were so full, but definitely next time we need to try pistachios and ricotta cake , - pistachios cream is my favorite , yummy !!! Overall: we had a great experience , It's a small business restaurant, but the owner is very passionate and does everything the right way, which is with care and dedication! We are so glad that we have tried this place and we would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. They need our support as a small local business , because they are part of our community now.

While looking for a place to go for date night, I stumbled upon Pastaio on Yelp. It is a newer Italian restaurant that took the place of the best Fish and Chips restaurant in town. Food The menu offers many different Italian favorites. Our waitress recommended the Penne Ala Vodka as a specialty. My wife went with that, while I went with Pesto with Salmon. We also split the Caesar salad. The salad was interesting as they gave us romaine leaves to cut ourself. The dressing it came with was good, but the croutons were more of just a cold bread though. The pesto was good, but the salmon was the star. It was a large portion and cooked perfectly. They do not sell alcohol at this time, but had some mocktails and soda. 4.5/5 Service The restaurant was not busy at all, so our server was very attentive. Our food all came out so quick that we were left trying to figure out what to do with the rest of our night. 5/5 Ambiance Being familiar with the space from the precious restaurant, it was interesting to see the changes. Nothing really architecturally, just decor. The space is not overly big, but it still felt cozy. 4/5 Pastaio has potential, they just need to work out the kinds. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Give it a try.

Finally some fresh homemade pasta that tastes as good as it should! Tucked in a small strip mall, you will find easy parking and a friendly smile when you walk in. Emily is the host and server and she is an absolute delight. Knowledgeable and anticipatory, she makes the place feel very welcoming. The decor is quaint, but it is very clean. Besides, I'm here for the food. To start, there is a good selection on mocktails and refreshers. I've had the cucumber and watermelon ones separately and both were made with real watermelon and actual cucumbers. Not too sweet and just a bit fizzy. Perfect for this desert heat. I appreciate the garnishment on the drinks too. I can tell they actually care about presentation and quality. I've ordered the fettuccine bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs, caprese salad, tiramisu, pistachio cake, and chicken Alfredo and they are all delicious. I think the big facts that the pasta is actually homemade. The desserts were made in house too. You can taste the difference. It's not overly processed or full of extra additives. The flavors and qualities really shine through. The pasta has just the right amount of softness and al dente texture. The sauces, whether it was the creamy Alfredo or bolognese, were carefully seasoned throughout the cooking process. The homemade meatballs are pillowy soft and packed with fresh herbs that make spaghetti and meatballs such a comfort food. The grilled chicken on the Alfredo was moist and a good portion to the pasta ratio. The Caprese salad had these ripe tomatoes seasoned with high quality extra virgin olive oil and a green sauce dressing it as well. It tasted fresh, herbaceous, and light enough to enjoy on its own. The mozzarella slices were fantastic with the cherry tomatoes too. You must get the bread and butter though. For something so simple, this was one item that surprised and delighted me. Light, thin, and grilled the whipped butter has a subtle sweetness to it when combined with the bread. I would buy a basket worth if I could. A must have. The pistachio cake was also made in house and it was a nice change of the usual desserts one would expect. It had crushed pistachios on the side, a cream layer and a slightly dense texture. Not too sweet and the pistachio flavor did come through. The tiramisu was one of my favorite desserts and this place gets it just right. There is the right amount espresso to waken your tastebuds and the fluffy cream layers with a dust of cocoa powder on top will send you to a jet 2 holiday. Once I tried this place, I couldn't wait to go back and try their other items. You can tell everything that is made here is made with passion and care. It's a small restaurant, but what it does, it does exceptionally well. I am more than happy to take my friends and family to this truly hidden gem in Green Valley. The prices are very reasonable and I even had enough to take food home for seconds. It has been a while since I've been excited for a new restaurant that actually serves high quality food and wants to do well because they are part of this community. I'm so glad I gave this place a try and I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. Be sure to get the bread and butter!

This place was good! It is located in a small strip mall in the heart of Henderson and took the place of a popular fish and chips restaurant that relocated to the corner. My husband picked it out on one of our rare date night occasions and pulling in I was nervous just because I know the small layout and didn't know how it would be since it's so new - but we gave it a try and were not disappointed! Our waitress was very attentive, and the food came out quickly. We ordered a Caesar salad, rigatoni alla vodka with a meatball, and the basil pesto pasta with salmon - it was all cooked perfectly and so tasty. We look forward to coming back. Of note, as of the time of our visit in August 2025 they did not serve alcohol.

Small restaurant, seating for less than 30 people. Quiet, clean gives the vibe of a family owned establishment. The server was very attentive and answered questions we had about the menu. We had the calamari. It had a light breading with an fried onion flavor. A squeeze of the fresh grilled lemon was perfect. Paccheri with chicken. The pasta was so fresh and perfectly cooked. E sauce slightly spicy and flavorful. The risotto had a nice lemon hint and the spinach was a nice flavor companion. There was also toasted bread for the table. We had enough for at least three people to eat. The fresh mango sorbet was absolutely refreshingly light and sweet. The macaroon was soft and creamy in the middle. It had a citrus flavor along with almond also definitely worth spoiling yourself a little. You can call ahead for reservations, small groups and even plan an event in their space.

Very glad we stopped by here. The food was outstanding. Four of us in our group and we each tried different dishes. ALL of them were delicious. The fast is fresh, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Everything was simple, yet extremely flavorful. Even the bread with a honey herb butter was great. Service was fast and friendly. Only downside is no alcohol on the menu, but that doesn't take away from the place. One couple brought a bottle of wine. I recommend everyone go there. Plus it's Vet owned. Couldn't be better.

Came here based off of the reviews - and it did not disappoint! Small business in a strip mall but don't let that stop you - the food and service was five stars! We started with the mozzarella sticks and the caprese salad - both outstanding dishes. Then we had the carbonara and the chicken parmigiana, the carbonara was perfectly al dente and very delicious. The parmigiana was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce and cheese on top. They let us substitute a Caesar salad for the pasta on the side, it was perfect. Got a pistachio cake to go - it was delicious, like eating a pistachio cloud. Service was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, we will definitely return!

I would come again but prices need to be a little more transparent. My boyfriend and I came in for the AYCE pasta because why not but I don't recommend it unless you can truly down more than one full plate of pasta. For the AYCE pasta, you can choose from a variety of pasta dishes but are limited to one pasta to eat unlimitedly. We ordered it without knowing the price which I do understand was an error on our part. At the time we went, it was $23 per person but we didn't know until after the check came. Because the plates were so big and we also ordered protein in top, we were full by the first place and couldn't order a second one. I'm not sure what the size difference between the AYCE plates and a la carte but I would have ordered it a la carte had I known. Quality of the food was great though, don't get me wrong! The pasta is fresh and the sauces were delicious. We both got cream based pastas and the sauces did not break. Our added chicken was seasoned well and did not disappoint either. We will definitely come back but not with the same ambition to do AYCE. We learned our lesson!!

Third visit. Hidden gem in Henderson that serves as a quiet and nice little date spot should you choose to bring a special someone. Staff is amazingly warm, friendly, and receptive to any feedback you may have for them. Pasta is fresh with flavors that pop at the edge of your mouth. Each meal doesn't fail to impress with each visit. You receive complimentary bread with your meal! The menu is constantly updating and improving and there is always an extra touch of care noted with each visit. Please make sure to give them a visit sometime.
