We were heading back to Arizona and wanted to try some place new on the way home. Came across West Texas Chophouse, food looked amazing. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, clean, service was amazing, Erica, was so friendly and attentive. All of the staff were friendly.The food was absolutely delicious! Loved the RIB EYE CHICHARRONES! We will definitely make it a point to stop by the next time we are near Henderson!

They have the best burgers in town. Hands down. The dining experience is just ok. Service is sometimes good, sometime mediocre. Food has always been great. Steaks are just as good as Hanks and Cleavers. But the hack to this place is ordering burgers to go. There isn't a place in all of Vegas that can deliver a better burger and take out experience. Highly recommend.

I went here for dinner and drinks after driving by the place quite a few times and wanting to experience it. This location is on Mall Ring Circle by Galleria. SERVICE: Superb. not only a friendly waitress but very accommodating and fun to talk to. Everything ordered was prompt. FOOD: My ribeye was beautifully grilled. It had bold flavor and i was certainly pleased. I thought the food was well worth it. DRINKS: The drinks here will do the trick quickly. Very flavorful and unique drinks. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. That's not just because the place was near empty. My next visit here will be soon.

I had Texas Roadhouse for the first time and thought it was great ... until I found West Texas Chophouse and now I could never go back. I have returned several times now and each time, the quality of food has been consistent, as well as the service provided by staff. The ambiance is also nice and matches the vibe of the restaurant. West Texas is my go to when I'm craving any kind of meat or their Cajun pasta!

There was about an hour and a half in between how long it would take for me to get to my flight and to eat, so on the way back from a quick trip to Lake Havasu, I called into this place and made an order. We got a burger with chile, brisket nachos and rib eye tacos. I wanted to try the Mac and cheese but they ran out of cheese, yet there was no time to get it due to the flight time. Our food came out promptly and we were given some amazing fresh bread with a tasty butter. The nachos with brisket had a lot of flavor and weee so good. The rib eye tacos were absolutely irresistible and had such high quality of meat in them, it makes me want to go back to try their steaks. Their sauces compliment their tacos as well. For the burger, that was truly a quality burger as well. It's one of those burgers you get that are quite memorable. Our server was kind and the ambiance has so much space and feels quite comfy as well. Even though I had to run out to catch my flight on time with barely 20 minutes to spare, this place made an impact and I can't wait to come back the next time I make it over to Nevada.

Very nice decor. I particularly liked the steer heads and wine wall. We arrived early in the day, so the restaurant was a bit empty, very clean and extremely spacious. The waitress who served our table went by the name Jay and she provided fantastic customer service. We ordered the- 6OZ. SIRLOIN: Cooked to your liking and served with a West Texas baked potato. SEASONED PANKO CRUSTED TILAPIA: Fried tilapia fillet served with cilantro rice. The baked potato was good. The sirloin was cooked the perfection. Medium well as specified. The cilantro rice was flavorful and prepared well. The tilapia which I'm a huge fan of by the way, unfortunately lacked flavor in this case. I've had the tasty fish prepared in numerous ways in the past, but never quite like this. It was crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. Both of which sound like pretty good features, which they were. I had no issue with the texture. It's just the meat was just void of any real flavor. So, in summation... Will I try the tilapia again?, certainly not. I would, however, revisit the restaurant in the future, to try other tasty sounding menu items.

RENE!!!!! AWSOME! Was treated by family for my husbands birthday, we came on the 9th amd what a great server! My only complaint would be the pepper shakers, took 3 or 4 to use, they were empty.... Lol! RENE IS THE BEST! we will be back just be served by her

Had a great waitress named June. No photos on this visit but today we tried the 20oz porter house and a bone in ribeye cooked to perfection. Too many cooks on the grill struggle with meat temps medium and medium well. Great visit

We wanted steak so we made a reservation at West Texas Chophouse because it's close to us and we wanted to try something new. Walking in, I was a bit upset. I made a reservation, but got placed in the bar, and did not get the ambiance of the main dining room and the supposedly pretty tree. Our reservation was early, and the dining room (and the bar area) was mostly empty, so it was really frustrating to be sat in the bar. Especially since, not only were we placed in the bar, but we were placed right next to the takeout area, right past plenty of empty tables. Annoying. I was angry. Luckily, our server was really great, even if a bit green. He was super friendly and attentive, and he seemed to really want us to have a good experience. He made good recommendations and ensured that our preferences were held up (we have a no cilantro person in our midst). I think he was a little green because of small little things that I'm sure he'll get used to, like bringing the share plates BEFORE we get our appetizer/meal and replacing silverware that has been taken away. Our server was great, but I will admit the highlight was the food. I thought it was great, and absolutely worth the price. I would not call this place overpriced, and the value was really evident with the portion sizing. We ended up sharing a tomahawk and sides. The meat was cooked perfectly, had great flavor and was suuuuuper tender. The wedge salad was large with great flavor and the steak fries were beautifully crispy and just the right amount of salty. The real star here though was the bone marrow. I've never had bone marrow with tortillas, so I saved some bread for it. Turns out, corn tortillas and bone marrow are *chef's kiss,* and a combination I didn't know I loved until coming here. The peach bread pudding was also super good, moist and flavorful, and really large. The four of us almost didn't finish this dessert but it was so good we found a way to fit it in. LOL!!! And last but not least, at a place like this, I order cocktails but don't expect them to be that great. Shockingly enough, the cocktails are really good! Balanced and flavorful, with good strength to them. I was pleasantly surprised. The bill wasn't as large as I thought it was going to be, so we will definitely be back in to have the awesome food and drinks when the craving hits.
