Dope! Dope! Dope! Matt the bartender that only works Friday and Saturdays hooked up some sweet tasting old fashions!! Man!!! I had 4 in a row. Addicting drinks with great service! Dude is an artist in making the delicious Old fashioned drink. I won't tell you the recipe, so come see him and hook him up so he can hook you up with the contagious drink at PROHIBITION 1942. Worth the trip!! GET SOME BABY!!! Atmosphere is mad crazy cool. Singers. Piano players and dancers that are a bit exotic. Fun spot. 2M people!!!! @ the VENITICIAN!!!

This bar is one of those spots that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto a secret. The entrance itself is such a cute touch--hidden away inside the Grand Canal Shoppes, it really gives that classic speakeasy thrill. I went on a Saturday evening with a girlfriend, excited to settle in at the bar and soak up the atmosphere. When we walked in, we were told the main area was closed for a special event. While I completely understand venues needing to host private parties, it was a little disappointing since the main lounge is such a big part of the experience and we were there specifically for that. Instead, we were guided into a smaller side room (I think it's called the Voodoo room) that also doubles as a space for magic shows. The room itself was dimly lit and quirky--decorated with some unique touches like a mermaid skeleton that definitely stood out. It had character, but it didn't quite carry the same energy I was hoping for from the main space. I think it would be helpful if the staff let guests know ahead of time (for example online) when the main lounge won't be available, so first-timers don't feel like they've missed out. Once seated, we had to wait quite a while before seeing a cocktail server--at one point we almost got up to leave and try another bar. To be fair, there was only one server working the whole room, and once she made it to our table she was kind and attentive. Still, for a Saturday night, a little extra staffing would go a long way in making sure guests aren't left waiting. The highlight of the evening was definitely the drinks. I ordered the La La Land (Skyy Strawberry Vodka, Amaretto, Pineapple Juice, Fresh Lime, and Passion Fruit Syrup). It was delicious--light, balanced, fruity, and not overly sweet. You could hardly taste the alcohol, which made it smooth and easy to sip. My friend loved hers too, and the menu overall looked creative and fun. In the end, while this visit didn't give me the full 1923 experience I was hoping for, I still left impressed by the concept and the cocktails. The side room was a nice fallback option, but next time I'd love to enjoy the main bar area, which I hear really makes the atmosphere come alive. With a bit more staffing during peak times and clearer communication about private events, this place has the potential to be an absolute standout on the Strip. I will definitely go back to try the main event experience :)

I saw this little speakeasy on TikTok and thought it looked so cool, so my guy and I had to check it out. Luckily, we got out of our show early enough and were close enough to walk there. Unfortunately, we got lost... twice! But we eventually found it thanks to a small sign that pointed us in the right direction. We took the elevator down and were greeted by this awesome portrait style door of a beautiful flapper lady, which immediately set the mood. Inside, the decor was amazing and totally on theme! The whole place really was an absolute vibe. Since we got lost so many times, we ended up arriving only about 20 minutes before closing, but the staff was still super friendly and made our drinks without hesitation. We ordered our favorite drink, old fashioneds, and they did not disappoint! Perfectly made. There was even a musician wrapping up his set when we sat down, so we got to catch the tail end of his performance, and he was pretty good. I do wish we'd had more time to enjoy the place, but I'm just glad we finally found it and got to experience it, even though it was pretty brief. Next time we're in Vegas, we're going back, but we will make sure to get there much earlier!

Do not mistaken this exhibit for the 1923 Prohibition at the Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino. The Venetian version upholds a more realisticated authentic New Orleans- prohibition theme.. Low ceiling and dimly lit lights to best examplfy the underground canal-tunnel era. Abd if you enjoy the hide & seeking adventure. This search party, pun intended, most certainly provides. A venture which includes uncharted elevator shafts leading to Hidden floors. Bookcases and oil paintings turned into revolving walls. Being a seeker of opportunities, i live by a set of learned virtues. Inspect every coin. Flip over every rock. Try every doorway, even if it may appear locked.

One of of many cool speakeasy's in Vegas but this one is very easy to find. It's located between Mandalay Bay and Luxor. If you go up the escalator from MB it's on your right. Open late not all day but super cool indoor space. It's a lot larger inside and has all the speakeasy feels low light, all things prohibition and old lol. The service was great and the spritz good albeit a lil pricey. It's Vegas and this place is convenient to a lot of hotels so stop by for the ambiance and a cocktail or two.

As far as Speakeasies in Vegas go, this was just okay. It felt like a convention center room that got a makeover with a few tables, chairs and hightops. The vibe wasn't right for a Vegas bar- the room was too big and the furniture way too sparse. Maybe they bring in more tables when there is live music? Some of the pics in the reviews show A LOT more hightop tables. Drinks and service were fine- no complaints. We did wander into the Voodoo room which had a better vibe- small, intimate and the seating options felt cozier. Definitely lots of personality in the Voodoo room! Easy to find (yay!) and zero issues getting in- it was definitely not crowded. We were there on Thursday night 11/6 maybe 9pm. It gets great reviews, so maybe it's just us...

A hidden speakeasy. Go to the elevator and press 2m you'll see a frame with a door handle and gentleman is waiting. As we walked in there was music playing but a ticketed event they proceeded to have us enter another room which looked very demonic and New Orleans with a voodoo feel to it. Maybe not my kind of decor. Our waitress didn't seem too welcoming or smiley the experience wasn't what I expected and the drinks were mediocre we also ordered chilled shots and she did not chill our tequila. Wouldn't come back

Service was nice & friendly. Ambiance was cool & enjoyed the Playlist. Not a fan of TVs all over the room. The prohibition pics were ok, but seeing the add for their bacon dish every few minutes killed the vibe. Especially when it's mostly empty, bacon flashing before your eyes all night is annoying. Drinks were alright. This place could spice it up with just an acoustic singer or some type of live music to make it worth hanging around paying $20+ for drinks. Add some type of live music & people will find you even on a Weds. Harrahs had dueling pianos & their place was packed

My daughter and I visited this hidden speakeasy style bar during our stay at the Palazzo. We enjoyed the adventure of taking the secret elevator and finding our way inside, and as we were visiting in the late afternoon, the atmosphere was quiet and was a welcome break from the noise of the casino. Our drinks were delicious and the service was great - well worth a stop!

The hunt for the bar was harder than expected. Here's a clue: Find the shoe store best known for its D'lites, in the Grand Canals, and enter into a moody, proper speakeasy vibe-infused cocktail bar. Here's another clue: Their old-fashioned are delicious and so are the sours. Here's another, another clue: The staff are very welcoming and well informed about restaurants and other places to try while you're in Vegas.
