An Unforgettable Birthday Surprise -- Above and Beyond! I originally reached out to Awesome Adventures with a lot of hesitation. I was looking for a surprise birthday adventure for my husband, but I was apprehensive -- he's very tall, and I have a physical disability. Honestly, I didn't expect it to work out. But when I contacted them, Ayde responded quickly and warmly. I explained everything, asked a ton of questions, and without hesitation, she said, "We got you! We can make this happen!" That confidence and kindness convinced me to go ahead and book the Old West Adventure ATV and Gold Mine Tour for July 12th. The morning of the tour, we drove ourselves to the location (we're locals) and were greeted right away. I had also asked Ayde to add on the breakfast option for us -- it was absolutely amazing and more than enough food for both of us. While we ate, our guide Alisha got everything ready. We expected to be in a group, but to our surprise, it ended up being just us, which made the experience even more personal and special. Before we set off, Alisha took the time to carefully explain how to operate the ATV and walked us through what to expect. She was incredibly reassuring, telling us not to worry about keeping up with any pace -- "I only go as fast as you go," she said with a smile. That instantly put us at ease. Alisha's knowledge, experience, and personality are truly unmatched. She was professional, patient, and so personable -- she turned an already special day into something unforgettable. I can't recommend Alisha, Ayde, and the whole Awesome Adventures team enough. They went above and beyond in every way, and we are so grateful for the memories they helped create. If you're even thinking about booking -- do it. You won't regret it.

What an unreal experience! Started off strong, with excellent communication morning of. Our guide Alisha picked us up from Old Vegas and pointed out landmarks and shared fun facts the whole way to Nelson for the tour. All day long she was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had, but also so funny while still being professional! My whole group thought that the value of this tour was exceptional. We walked the grounds, took pictures of the Werly family's decades-long collection of toys and decor, watched an action movie clip filmed on the property, then hit the trails. We're a group of experienced dirt bike/quad riders, but Alisha made sure to put some of the guys in their place and let us know that the ATV ride rules are rules, not suggestions. The views were incredible, we ate a delicious lunch by the Colorado river, then headed back for the gold mine tour. Being from the east coast, this part of US history isn't something we're familiar with, and we learned so much! Even though we had a large group, Alisha made a point to have a one-on-one conversation with every single one of us, which made it very special and personal. She was also an incredible photographer! I think we really got the bang for our buck, and i will definitely be recommending this tour - and Alisha by name - to everyone I know who's planning a Vegas trip in the future.

Owners and our guide were friendly and the ride was a full hour +! My 16 yo went into a bush and our guide didn't make him feel bad for holding up the line, told him it was ok and got it out quickly. Pride of ownership shows, the place was clean, lots of games and places to take pictures, the bathrooms were cute/clean, the masks were clean, definitely recommend!

Awesome experience I would definitely recommend doing at least once. I was very nervous at first, but they give you great instructions and the guide is very vigilant. If at any point you get uncomfortable or run into trouble you can stop and they will come take care of you. It is a long, hot ride but definitely exciting.

Awesome experience!!!! Patricia and Jensen were great guides!!! They had patience and knowledge, and made the complete trip a very memorable time. Patricia offered to take pics for us, and told us a lot about the area and its history. Jensen was also a great ATV guide, who made safety a priority; yet he still made it super fun. I def recommend them for anyone visiting Vegas, and wanting to have fun outside the normal stuff on the strip. Thx again, Patricia and Jensen!!!!

I had the good fortune to come for a second time and have Alisha do the tour this time around. I was a little skeptical since Sherman had done our first tour back in December 2022, but let me tell you she was perfect and how she handled our tour, and giving us views that I didn't get to see last time! I highly recommend this secret little gem that's on the outskirts of Las Vegas to try and go have an adventure! First, you get to take a tour of their city full of stuff to take pictures then you do the ATV tour and lastly, is the gold mine tour to wrap it up. Yes! You get to see some gold in the cave! Couldn't Ask for a better adventure. Oh, and there's a little shopping you can do as they have a little store inside this full of little gems as well!

Sherman and Alisha were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! It was a day full of movement and adventure. We rode the ATVs, went through the amazing town of El Dorado and toured the mine. Honestly, it was like three adventures packed into one cool day. Both Sherman and Alisha are a wealth of information and there was never a dull moment. Plus, the lunch was tasty and perfectly timed. I cannot say enough about the experience and would give it 20 stars if it was available. Finally, the town is privately owned and the public is so flipping lucky to experience it so don't be a disrespectful troll and abide by the rules that are plainly written on a few huge signs. Old school people (wish there were more of them) who want to be respected and it's their home SO LISTEN!

The good - the adventure was a lot of fun though we had slow people in our group which made the entire tour quite slow. Alisha and Sherman had great personalities and made the experience fun. The bad/scary - Alisha was a very scary and extremely aggressive driver for our van transportation from the hotel to Eldorado Canyon. I've never seen anyone swerve the way she did for each lane change. There were several instances where Alisha jammed on the brake at the last second due to not paying attention and/or being on her phone. At one point she was on her phone while driving and if it weren't for me yelling at her to stop we would have rear ended a car...a bit ironic that Alisha was on her phone while driving 8+ people but she told us in the safety briefing she would kick anyone out that was on their phone while driving the RZR's. All in all a fun trip, but I'd recommend driving to Eldorado Canyon and passing on their transportation.
