We ordered through catering for a large family gathering. Our order was ready and hot on time. It included all the plates, napkins and cutlery plus the chafing dishes and sternos to keep it all warm while serving. The food was a big hit and so easy to serve with all the prep work done before. I got to enjoy the party with minimal work. At the shop the employees were very helpful getting everything prepped and loaded to transport without a lot of mess. Great service, yummy food, lots of happy guests. Thank you!

I had my family from out of town 7 people counting me. We were all in line 6 of us ordered it got to me they had all sat down got there food not me I was paying for it I was still ordering what I wanted and a lady behind me budded in front of me and brushed passed me and said I only have one item. I said I guess my time is not important. She turned to me and called me all kinds of names like she was initialed. Then screamed at me continuously before she left. I got up to the counter and gave the rest of my order and he said have a good day. I said I would have if you would have finished my order and not let this lady bud in front of me. I will never go back the food was awful anyway. Also it was very embarrassing in front of my grandchildren.

I was catching up with some buddies after a long hiatus, and they recommended we check out Cafe Rio for a Chipotle-like experience. As it turns out it's nothing like Chipotle...instead Cafe Rio is run by absolute con artists who steal your money. First, the food. I ordered the salad bowl with their signature pork, and chose the house dressing with habanero sauce. The meat was super sweet, as was the salsa - frankly a sugar bomb. The salsa was supposed to come with it, but they charged me an extra dollar...and it wouldn't be the last. Service was extremely slow and it was clear that most of the employees weren't competent or were new to the job. The cashier was sneaking in fee after fee after fee of items we didn't order or billed us extra for items like hot sauce that were supposed to come with the order. The also slipped soda cups in and I had to tell them explicitly not to. The bill came out to $10 of overcharges and would have been closer to $20 with the unwanted sodas. I wasn't even aware that I was being overcharged until checking the receipt later, but by then it was too late. Absolutely do not eat here unless you want to be taken for a ride. They fooled me once, but it'll never happen again.

I had previously given this location 2 stars due to their speed of service. I went back to give them another shot about a month ago and although it wasn't noticeably quick, it was an improvement from the previous times I had been here. So I thought I'd try again today for an early dinner. Speed was about the same as my visit a month ago, but this time I noticed a new charge on my receipt "extra chip strips." I have been requesting chip strips with my burrito for years at various Cafe Rio locations in multiple states even, and have never been charge for a half handful of tortilla strips. I ask the cashier who seems annoyed that I would ask such a question, about why I had a $1.50 charge, and simply replied " it's for the tortilla strips." I didn't get much more than that. I told her I had never been charged for a few strips before; she just shrugged it off. I got a burrito (with tortilla strips) last week at another location and received no such charge. So either this location has recently added this charge without informing customers, or this employee was not trained correctly. She seemed very confident in the charge, but either way this just ends up being an additional time I've left this location unhappy about my purchase and/or experience.

Every one or 2 star review on here isn't lying when they say the service is slow. I ordered my food through DoorDash and they were "preparing my order" for over 45 minutes. I only ordered a bowl and a key lime pie. When I received my food there was hardly any meat (barbacoa) in my bowl at all. And their side of guacamole was brown. Also they made my dessert different than the other locations. I'm beyond frustrated by the lack of consideration or care while preparing my food because it was ordered through DoorDash. Andddd their Mangonada drink is nasty.

no stars this food is terrible and the service is worse i don't know how you can jus open a food establishment and have yesterdays food still sitting out that's how low quality it was and i shouldn't be getting attitude from every worker for ordering a meal not my fault yall chose this line a work. cook get better and make fresher food and service get better it's honestly just sad.

I placed an order for dinner tonight as a pick up order. Per usual with this location I waited for 10 minutes, and no one came out to my vehicle, when I went inside I saw where my car was parked with the light blinking on the wall. I was informed that my order was not ready so I waited another 10 minutes in the restaurant. This is the only location in Las Vegas at this ever happens at. If you live near Mountains Edge I would highly recommend taking a drive over to the Rhodes Ranch location. When I got home to unpack my meal, I had somebody else's order. It honestly looked like a bunch of sides thrown together in a bow. Pinto beans, a corn tortilla, tons of cilantro and a bunch of melted cheese. I also got three large sides of dressing. I ordered a chicken salad with a flour tortilla, black beans, and no cilantro and this bowl that I got there was no lime or guacamole and it was basically all pico de gallo and pinto beans and hardly any chicken. Frustrates me that my order was not ready by the time the app said it would be. Not only that I asked for a curbside pick up and had to go in to grab my food. And my food was not ready only to come home to somebody else's order. Very disappointed.

Yep. This Cafe Rio is now almost always empty. It never has any food available. There is no one in your restaurant. How do you not have anything but chicken? It's lunch time. It used to be this was a good restaurant but it was always busy because they never had any help. Now it is dead but they have no food.
