absolutely love Cardenas Market on S. Buffalo -- it's one of those places that instantly feels like home. The store is always clean, well-organized, and full of color and life. The produce section is fresh and reasonably priced, with everything you need for authentic Hispanic cooking. The bakery is pure heaven -- from conchas to bolillos, everything smells amazing and tastes even better. The carnicería (meat department) always has great cuts and friendly staff ready to help, and I love the ready-made soup kits for quick, delicious home-cooked meals. It's a one-stop shop for everything from fresh tortillas to spicy salsas, and every visit makes me miss it a little more now that I'm away. If you're in Vegas and craving real, flavorful Hispanic ingredients, this is the place to go!

I been going to this store for about a year now, I miss how I used to be in n out of the store straight to what I needed and left, now self check out is always closed I have to wait in line for 10 items that I can easily use self check out and leave. The other day I was in the store and a rude lady from self check out grabbed her personal phone and called a cashier on the phone telling her to watch the (racial profiled couple) to scan what's at the bottom of there cart like if they where trying to take it. I am Hispanic and when I go in this store I don't even feel comfortable around there employees they act like every person is a thief, so insulting. Horrible customer service!

Plenty of parking available in a private lot. It's charming, well organized and the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. We ordered food from the Café and dined in their indoor dining area. A salsa bar and condiment station along with a wall mounted TV is part of the dining area. My taco combo plate was very good. The frescas con leche was good and refreshing. We enjoyed our food selections very much. I like the fresh produce selection. Seasonal produce options are reasonably priced and typically less expensive than chain markets.

Perfect perfect one stop to pick up all the goods for taco night! All salsas were perfect RF beans was great and the chips plus Guacamole was perfect start!! Layout of market was perfect and everything was super easy to locate!! Great fresh produce to boot and staff were super friendly and helpful!! Highly recommended!!

The last two Tuesday, my husband and I had Tuesday tacos, it's very good. The meat very tender and well seasoned. They have improved a lot. Heat it up 30 seconds, meat still tender and the tortillas still soft. That's what you want. Service is fast and everything looks clean.

We are so lucky to have a great Mexican market here in Vegas. Always clean with a fantastic bakery, deli, produce section and main markets. Have eaten and done take out at the deli! Why pay more for avocado when you can get good fresh ones here along with other produce

Wow. What a selection. Clean, open store. Loved the ready made variety to eat and go. Service was hard. I do not speak Spanish, so a language barrier. My issue, not the stores. They did try to help me. Much appreciated

Upgrading to 4 stars from 3: 1. Their small loaves of bread is really yummy (better than La Bonita down the road!). 2. They have wheat tortillas! 3. Some items are lower in prices, you would have to shop and compare. 4. The various self check out staff are very friendly and helpful. 5. parking is never an issue as they have a huge lot.

look for special items on sale, such as 3 avocados for $1, 49cents/lb papaya and 99 cents for peaches and nectarines. Grocers are super helpful and friendly. try to go on the first day limited sale, fruits are usually plummer and firmer. great staff, helpful. But do watch what price the meat counter is punching in after they weighed your item, sometimes they punch in the original price and not the sale price. overall, great value on certain items!

I had a big smile on my face walking around Cardenas Markets that one of the friendly staff asked if I liked the place. I said, "I love it! It makes me happy!" You'll find a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables with the best price. I've never been to a much more affordable place for fresh produce anywhere else in Vegas. It's also the only place I've been that sells banana leaves for rice cakes, tamales, etc! It's clean, bright, spacious and very organized. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through different kinds of spices, corn chips, marinated meats, sauces, drinks, beans, etc. You can also get authentic and ready to eat Mexican food at Cocina. You can also to eat there. The bakery is amazing! You can get Mexican sweet breads, cakes, flans, and freshly made tortillas. Check Cardenas Markets out hungry folks!
