I'll never understand why people give fast food restaurants a terrible rating when it's fast food and it's convenient so it's also being worked by teenagers and so therefore I'm not sure I understand. However, this place service is great, the food was excellent and fresh. The place was clean and convenient And the pricing was very reasonable.

This place sucks dirty restaurant rude staff but the worst my burrito was ice cold like it came out the fridge they use old and cold chicken because even that was cold. Save your hard earned money there a real Mexican restaurant down the street. Go to la Mexicana instead.

We dined in. While we were eating a loud homeless person was allowed into the restaurant. After several minutes of bantering with an employee he was given free food. What was disturbing to us is he was allowed to eat in. Of course, he sat next to us. He was definitely a "crackhead" babbling about what ever and talking to us. He was very dirty, was making a mess all over and being loud. If they are giving them free food, that's ok, but they SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO EAT IN. Thanks to the employees that allowed this person to disrupt our dinner. Patrons beware, apparently he is there on occasions and they allow him in. You are warned. Food prices at El Pollo Loco are ridiculously high, maybe we are being gouged to pay the freebies to homeless.

I come in at least once to eat here when in town from the east coast. Stumbled upon this chain back in 2016 in California with my wife when we had time before our flight back home Wednesday night I can in and ordered the half chicken meal. It comes with 2 sides and choice of tortilla. I always opt for the flour tortilla and make myself little wraps with them. The grilled chicken is really good for a fast food place and I would love to have a place like this closer to home. I will say though it's a really small half chicken- those birds were on a hunger strike if you see in my pic. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were nice and hot and not bland. The staff could be a little more attentive and could use some better oversight which took my rating down a notch. I will be back for another fine meal next time I'm In town.

Very sad service and quality food is bad , people racist special the new manager , chicken is burnt outside and inside is raw the employe socorro never understands ,just answer I know for everything =\ lobby is dirty trash can overflowing , I visit the store Tuesday and Wednesday and the same problem , new salsa flavor is bad , original chicken is better

The service was poor staff are not nice in this area, and the food was disappointing compared to before--everything was very dry. My order was incomplete. We specifically asked for cheese quesadillas with a little cheese, but what we received was practically just plain tortillas. While my son was eating the mac and cheese, he found a black hair in it, which was really off-putting.
