Me and my friends did the South Rim tour and had an amazing time!!! Jaren was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to and from Vegas to the Grand Canyon! I definitely recommend this for first timers!! He took pictures for everyone, provided us with some cool historical facts at the site and on the way there. We had an amazing time!!! Took this bus tour and it went well. Got picked up near our resort at 610am and returned at 910pm. The bus was fine, tvs weren't working but the driver fixed the power outlets for charging our phones. Stops were frequent enough so as to avoid using the bathroom on the bus. McDonalds and New China Restaurant on the way, and Carl's Jr on the way back. The driver was nice and shared a lot of info but also gave us some quiet time. We enjoyed the Hoover Dam on the way, and the night time view on the way back. At Grand Canyon, we stopped at Mather Point and Grand Canyon Village. The shops and historic hotels at the village were interesting. Yes, the drive was long but I felt it was exactly as advertised. There are a lot of 1 star reviews but my experience was a solid 3.5 and I am rounding up to four because two freeway exits were closed returning to Vegas but our driver figured it out and dropped us off in a very convenient location with no delay. Tip: look for a very good discount on Groupon.

Purchased tickets on Groupon and took the tour on 11/27/19. The overall sights of the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are amazing. But I would not recommend this company. What caught my attention from the start is no phone call the day before like other companys to confirm your reservation and meeting point, I actually called them myself to confirm. I was picked up from the meeting point at Ballys at 6:20am, we get to the office and have to get out to check in. We then board another bus driven by Mark, cool dude. The previous bus Wi-Fi was super fast, this bus doesn't work. We are waiting for 4 people who are in a cab because they missed then pick up. I don't think that is right for the people that were on time. We were also informed that the boss needed to bring money for the entry fee. 40 min delay very unprofessional. During the drive Mark the driver was very informative, but I was not keen on him using one hand to hold and speak into the microphone and another to steer. Long story short(tired of typing) you go to Hoover Dam, then a 20 min stop at McDonalds in Kingman to purchase your own food. After that your ticket price includes a visit to the WORST CHINESE BUFFET IN THE GALAXY. I was offended they took us there. You get to Grand Canynon...which is amazing. The ride back you stop at Carl Jrs to purchase your own food and the super old movies are played there and back. It is an all day tour. I thought it was ok deal since it was on Groupon. But as seen in the majority of the other reviews, it maybe best to book a tour elsewhere.

My husband and I decided to jump on the Grand Canyon West Rim & Skywalk tour the day after we got married in Las Vegas. We booked tickets online with the Grand Canyon Tour Company. It cost $149.99 per person for this tour. The tour included round trip by motor coach, lunch, a stop at the Hoover Dam, the Skywalk, and the Grand Canyon West Rim reservation area. Our pickup time at 6:15am. That was tough, but it was worth it. We didn't get back til incredibly late, because the drive itself is a couple hours. We would both 100% do this tour again. No complaints from us.

I paid already but going to call my credit card company later and dispute this charge... again FLAT OUT LIED... AVOID THIS COMPANY... THEY PICKED ME UP WITH A MOTOR COACH BUS DROVE 1/2 hour and than made me wait on line for 1/2 to get my FINAL BUS - A low end bus... NO TVS... NO 56 seater MOTOR BUS - a bumpy ride small painted black school bus... WATCH MY VIDEO TO SEE HOW MUCH THE SEAT NEXT TO ME WAS BOUNCING!!! I wanted a coach bus since both my wife and son suffer from motion sickness... why I asked 2 times and got an email to make sure I had a big coach bus.... Look at letter from company 56 person luxury bus... GOOD OLD BAIT And SWITCH... called owner beyond rude... TOO BAD WAS HER ANSWER... DONT TAKE THIS COMPANY!!!!! SERIOUSLY LADY - DID YOU EVER HEAR OF THE TERM "CUSTOMER SERVICE" - LOOK AT YOUR REVIEWS - Their a disaster for a reason... DONT PROMISE ME A MOTOR COACH BUS WITH TV and WIFI and put me in a black painted school bus...you picked the wrong guy to do this too... going to dispute this charge and your going to get slammed on Yelp and Trip Advisor as well as you should... if you only picked up the phone and APOLOGIZED AND ACTED LIKE A RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS WOMAN.... but no YOU RAISE YOUR VOICE TO ME - not the right thing to do... BAD BOSS, TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES, ATROCIOUS SERVICES I took the Grand Canyon Tour August 12, 2018. If there's a zero star or a 1/2 star, that would be what I have this company. Below are reasons and honest reviews: 1. The bus was supposed to pick us up at Tropicana Hotel at 6:10 am. No bus showed up till 7:10 am. The company phone was not in service during the waiting time. Apparently, the company system was offline due to the storm the day before. One of the ladies (Jessica) in the same tour spoke to a customer rep who claimed to be the manager said that we all have to take a taxi to a different meeting location and hang up (rude). Despite what was told, a bus showed up 2 minutes after. This was bad communication cause we could have been strand if we listened to that rep. 2. I entered the bus and asked the bus driver (Keith) where are we heading and will we still be doing the Hoover Dams with all the delays. He told us that he is going around the hotels to pick people up and we will be transferring to another bus. Confused, I asked, "another bus?" This bus driver then condescendingly said, "yes, did you hear what I just said? Everyone here heard me....?" I basically told him that the way he talks to me as if I don't understand English and he kind of shrug me off. The customer service that bus driver Keith gave me was disgusting and uncalled for. Everyone on the bus heard the man too, some British lady even recorded it. I understand that everyone has had a bad morning, especially for the people who are working in the service industry. However, it is no way to stereotype me as a non-english speaking tourists and be condescending to me. 3. We then got to the Grand Canyon Company to switch bus. Some people was so upset with the customer service that they want to complain to the head manager. They asked me to come along since I was treated rudely. Apparently the manager is the "owner" and her name is Karen A. Rancilio and she was very defensive about this whole entire ordeal. She even said that she had never experienced these kinds of complains and told us to not get into politics with the condescending bus driver. Anyways, she obviously does not know how to appease customers and she should train the people working under her a class on "excellent customer service" if she's running a service company and want to retain customers from coming back. But this is not all, read my third bullet... 4. Bus driver #2, BILLY, driving bus with plate no. Cp93155 at 8 am August 12, 2018. I came to check in and ask him that I need to get back to the manager room since a bunch of us is in there. He then started to yell at me to get into the bus and grab a seat. I told him that I just wanted to go back to talk with the owner and that a bunch of people he's waiting on is also in there. He then proceeds to tell me NOT to tell him how to do his job. I do not know what the heck happened but the guy just got all upset and defensive and attacked me. Angrilly, I did flip on him as I walked away. When the group of people making the complains made their way back to the bus for check in, Jessica and Jasmine went to talk to Billy about what had happened. As they discussed about me, Billy told the girls that I was causing troubles and the girls defended me. Next thing you know, things got heated between the driver and the girls, and the girls walked into the bus yelling "I am staying on this bus, you can call the police if you want to kick me out." Billy came into the bus and yelled "you guys are a bunch of dramas. I don't want dramas in my bus. Get out! And the Asian one (me) too." The six of us got kicked out. Standing at the bus with Billy and Karen (the owner), Karen was siding with Billy and the arguments continue. At this time, I was already tired and I just want to do the tour for my cousins. We just got onto the other bus and that was the end of it. However, I learned that after we got off the bus, Billy told the tourists in his bus that "all the trouble makers are now off the bus" and started to bad mouthing us. It was very un-called for and unprofessional. 5. The only good thing I can talk about was bus driver #3, but he was very calm and professional. Everything was fine on his bus; not all bus drivers are the same! Honestly, I paid over $200 not to get treated badly while on vacation. Your company should be lucky I bring you business. You're a service company, you should have yourself and your employees properly train on treating your customers: on how to treat upset and anxious customers and how to handle a bad situation when there's an emergency event, such as the effect of the storm. Don't make excuses and attack your customers due to your lack of preparation. Anyone who is reading this. I advise you, with my utmost conviction, to not do business with this company unless you want to be treated badly when you tried to explain to the company you're not getting the service you paid for.

Extremely unprofessional company. We had this tour booked a week or two in advance, and we get a call about 36 hours before our tour that they are unable to accommodate us, and that they recommended we cancel. Due to this, we are struggling to find a tour group to book now, and it looks like we will be unable to see the canyon during our stay in Nevada. Please do better by informing people further in advance if you are not doing tours. We had this booked with Expedia without a problem, so needless to say, we were completely blindsided when we received that call so close to the day we were supposed to go.

Bought a groupon for a Hoover Dam deluxe tour. Our bus driver was entertaining, it was a bit awkward to be picked up, check in, and then have a herd of people show up afterwards from seemingly nowhere to get on the bus. First we stopped at the I-93 bypass bridge - which allowed for some good aerial-ish shots of the dam. Plus I've now also theoretically been to Arizona ;) The tour itself was good - although the company has no bearing on that. On the way back we stopped at a pizza place in Boulder City for lunch which had some good specials connected with the bus tour. (I wrote a review for that place) Being the first hotel to get picked up - we were among the last on the list to get dropped off. We ended up bailing off the bus at another hotel and walking through the back way to get to Linq, which is where we stayed, so we didn't have to wait eleven thousand years to get off. Overall I dunno if I'd pay full price, but the groupon was a decent enough value. With a promo code I paid $60 for the tour for both myself and my boyfriend.

We booked a bus tour to the Grand Canyon South Rim for $104/person. This company does it right! They picked us up at a hotel near us, early in the morning (6 am.) They gave us wholesome breakfast boxes (muffins, breakfast bars, fruit and juice.) On the way to the GC we made 2 rest stops and about an hour before we arrived at the GC, we were served boxed lunches (sandwich, cookies, chips, water, juice.) Once we arrived we received maps and detailed instructions about the area. We were left to sightsee on our own (for approx. 3 hrs.) The views are SPECTACULAR!! We boarded the bus to return, around 4:30 pm. Our driver/guide was very cordial and knowledgeable. (I would highly recommend when you make this trip DRESS WARMLY!!!! The air conditioning on the bus was a bit too cool for me and the day we traveled, it was 55 degrees, windy and partly cloudy. A sweatshirt with a hoodie and warm pants will do the trick.) Overall, I highly recommend this tour company.
