This festival was giving nothing but good vibes!! There were so many great micro breweries to sample from. Even though there were lines, they were very fast. The environment was well maintained and kept clean the entire time. I just wish there were more food/snack options. All and all I DEFINITELY intend on going next year!

This is the largest annual beer festival in Las Vegas, and has stood the test of time. Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is a good venue, conveniently located next to Fremont Street. The event features plenty of local and regional breweries, and a good array of food trucks. There was no entertainment on stage. Instead, the Final Four games were displayed from a large screen on the stage that was visible throughout most of the venue. The price of admission this year was $50 for 3-7 PM, or $60 for 2-7 PM. The VIP tickets sold out. However, for the additional beer selection, I don't think they're worth paying three times the general admission price. I think live music would make this event even more enjoyable.

Fun beer festival! So many beer tents from bomb breweries (mostly local and California breweries), food trucks, live entertainment, silent disco and more food stands. You pay one price for unlimited beer samples with a 5oz cup or glass that comes with your ticket. It's lit!

Lots of good beers. It's was not put together for anyone in general admission. The vip were in the separate section under umbrellas and in the shade sitting at tables. We sat in the sun on the asphalt to eat an overpriced taco Not going back for that price and setup. But liked the beers

Sprawling over most of the lower downtown area near Atomic Bar and The Bunkhouse Saloon is where the Great Vegas Festival of Beer takes place. Tons of fantastic beers, great food, but long lines everywhere, this is why these types of boozy festivals tend to get under my skin. The Long Line Theory: All of the good beers have massive lines and all of the, "not so good" breweries are basically empty. I put this theory to work and tried a few smaller beer lines, the theory was proved to be correct. The no-line beer spots were just terrible; I mean how many different types of sour beers do we need? The bathroom situation wasn't the best either, in fact I've never seen a bathroom line so packed before and I went to Coachella six years in a row. This bummed me out until I realized there was a whole other restroom area near the South exit. C'mon guys how about some signage to let the bladder filled masses know? With the all the negatives listed above, why come to this event? To support the local craft beer scene and hang with some friends, duh! I did have a great time, but was only able to sample a few beers due to the crazy weather we had that weekend, even with a waterproof rain slicker, I still got soaked. Before the rain got too crazy I was able to try some beers: (Local) Crafthaus, Joseph James and Banger Brewing. (Non-Local) Left Coast, Magic Hat, Lagunitas, Coachella Valley and Rough Draft. They all offered some delicious samplings, except for Coachella Valley Brewery; that stuff was just awful. I couldn't get to any other of the local breweries due to their long lines, which is a good thing and I'm glad to see the craft beer scene growing by leaps and bounds here in Vegas. I'll see ya next year Vegas Beer Festival rain or shine, hopefully more shine than rain.

I was able to score some VIP tickets at a recent Elite event, so I couldn't wait to attend, being that it was in its third year running, and the two previous years had sold out. We got to try brews of all kinds, and even drop by the Yelp tent for some DIY pretzel necklaces. Of all the brews sampled, I loved the Shock Top Apple Brew, Blue Moon's Cranberry Brew, and Joseph James' special hourly limited Taps. One thing that also helped this 92 degree day were the mist machines and water stations set up within the venue. Those cooling stations were great! The VIP section was pretty cool as well. We got to sip on special brews from Khoury's, and nosh on some Short rib tacos, mac and cheese, and chipotle-cheddar sausages-YUM! I just don't get the constant bitching and moaning other reviews mention- parking, long lines, hot weather, out of a certain brew, no rinse stations, etc...Everyone's coming out for the same reason you are, so if you don't plan accordingly or didn't go over the Festivals' website to know what's going on to make your experience a good one, that's on YOU....I got a good solution for y'all next year......STAY HOME!!!!....ALOHA!!! This was a really good time! Tivoli Village hosted the event. I was a little worried that it sold out and approximately 2,000 people would be attending. It took a while to get in but once I got inside, it was great! All the staff for all the breweries and vendors were super friendly and had tons of beer to try. 30 different breweries/vendors in all. They also had four different food vendors, including Haulin Balls and Slidin Thru, in addition to the restaurants already at Tivoli Village. Tivoli Village turned out to be a great venue. The breweries were set up in a U-shaped design and it really worked. A little crowded but easy enough to get around. The music was terrific! I hope they can pull this off again next year.

Had the best times celebrating their 10th team anniversary April 23, 2022. Their VIP pass is well worth the price as it comes with many amenities just for VIPs. The event is very organized, clean and secure. Was really pleased with the variety of beers and food to choose from. Time flew by as we had lots of fun. Recommended 100%

This needs to be re-named IPA BREWFEST. This has been an event planned by "Motley Brews" for the last 9 years. The event is held within the glorious confines of the downtown Las Vegas events center which is an open air event center about a 1/2 block from the Fremont Experience. My GF and I purchased two VIP passes while they were still cheap and we booked flights/hotel room. The event is a two day fling , you go one or the other days--no 2day passes. Which is a real bummer for those of us willing to travel for the festival and two-days would really give ample time to sample all of the 500 different brews. The venue was nice clean and packed with security. The live music was impressive and a lot of fun was experienced. PROS: lots of beer tents , clean restrooms and comfy seats for the VIP folks. The venue has fake grass which makes for a very clean and dirt free festival setting and it's worth every bit of it. CONS: not every tent was labeled making identifying each brewhouse a real pain in the ass. Food lines were too fucking long for the "free" food for the VIP admission...I'd hope folks could "opt out" of the needless food charge as most folks get full from beers anyways plus you offer a full carnival of food trucks--why not give VIP folks coupons for items off the food trucks to keep from the lousy taster slider sandwich passed off as an actual meal/food item worth standing in line for a half hour. I'd go again, but I would not plow a pepper jack cheese dog while chugging IPA's as my guts started fighting back causing a momentary pause in the IPA chugging plus I ended up with the meat sweats minus the meat! Oh yeah, for the brewery folks---not everyone likes a IPA. Out of 500 tap handles, at least 60% must have been IPA. Can we mix in some blondes, ambers and such? Hops are fun for some of us, the rest can be chased away by these hoppy beer submissions. I'd be game for an IPA fest, but let's have some diversity for fucks sake.

Motley does throw a great event... the issue is they oversell the tickets..... This year the VIP tickets were completely oversold to accommodate what was included. It was described to be food provided by..... it ended up being tasting portions you had to wait in long lines for and not enough to go around. For the extra 50 dollars per head you could have easily spent 20.00 per head and had it catered with basics that wouldn't end up with your guests being served a partial slider pattie on a fork! Thanks God there was food trucks so we were able to go spend additional money and get food, disappointed we had to though.
