Yes, you found it, and yes, it's open (I'll explain in a minute)! What a gem of a place, with some of the best barbecue you'll find this side of Texas! We were greeted by the appropriately-named Diamond, who glowed with pride in the restaurant and made us feel cared for. The meat was seasoned and cooked just right, the sides were outstanding. Loved the atmosphere, which was upbeat and colorful, garnished with diverse, jammin tunes. We will be back! About my opening comment: this place needs some serious signage and a bright neon "OPEN" sign. It's located in what appears to be an industrial park...a very nice clean one, but not a place you expect to find the finest barbecue joint on the Strip! Once inside, the atmosphere rescues it. Some effort has been made by parking a company vehicle outside and the window is decoratively painted, but let's get this place some drive-by attention. It deserves it!!

Been wanting to try Hog & Tradition for a while now but their original location was just a bit far for us. Plus, we're never in that area so it was tough. BUT, they just moved! They moved to the SkinnyFats location on Dean Martin! They essentially took over the Zombie Beer bar area and after 3PM when SkinnyFats closes, they take over the whole place. My friends and I decided to finally give them a try together now that they were much closer to us. We went on a Sunday night around 6PM. Just like SkinnyFats, you order at the register, take a seat, and they will bring you your food when it is ready. FYI, the bar is still there! They still serve beer! So they're not gone or anything. You can still order beer with your meals! My husband and I decided to go for their 3 item combo. With the 3 item combo, it comes with 2 sides and the ube cornbread. For our meats, we decided on the brisket, chicken, and ribs and for our sides, we went with the collared greens and the mac and cheese. The brisket was good! It was fatty and incredibly tender. It broke apart way too easily though. So at the end of it, I was just trying to spoon all the small pieces so I don't waste food haha. The ribs was also very good. It's not the type where the meat falls off the bone. Instead, it has a bit of give in it. It has great flavor! The chicken was ok. I think it could have been better. I had some for take out about a week prior to visiting with my friends and the chicken then was better. The texture was good and the flavor was good. But when I ate in, the chicken tasted overcooked and the texture was almost mushy. The mac and cheese was decent -- nothing special about it. The flavors were nicely balanced where the cheese wasn't overpowering. The collared greens were good but they served it still drenched in liquid so that was a bit odd. Would have been much better if they drained the collar greens before serving. The ube cornbread -- you can smell the ube but you cannot taste the cornbread. The cornbread itself is a bit dry, which is quite normal to me. Cornbread is always dry to me. It's rare that I find a moist one. They do give you a giant scoop of butter on top of the cornbread and it really helps. Overall, pretty decent BBQ. I wouldn't mind coming again if I was craving for it.

Came here for the first time after a friend had mentioned they had moved CLOSER to where it originally was before. We had came here for dinner on a surprisingly quiet sunday evening around 6pm. The newly relocated Hog & Tradition is now "connected" to the SkinnyFats and "takes over" the SkinnyFats side when it closes at 3pm daily. You order at the "bar" side upon entry and can sit down anywhere in the SkinnyFats side for your order to come. We had a group of 5. Essentially ordered enough to try most of the items on the menu with us doing 3 variations of the 3 meat 2 side combo. Personally, I had ordered the BRISKET. CHICKEN LEG QUARTER, and SMOKED PORK SAUSAGE with MAC & CHEESE side and COLESLAW. Every order comes with an UBE CORN BREAD so you don't have to order one. While waiting for the food to arrive, the waitress had brought to the table 3 bottles. A SWEET BBQ sauce, HOT BBQ sauce, and a SWEET MUSTARD sauce (described similar to honey mustard). The BRISKET is quite fatty. Looks to be part of the point side of the brisket and flavorful. FALLS apart a little TOO easily. The SMOKED PORK SAUSAGE is quite tasty as well. Salty. Sweet. Smokey. I was quite full so I didn't initially get to eat the CHICKEN LEG QUARTER but re-heating it in my convection oven, it still was pretty good. VERY flavorful seasoning used on the skin (almost makes it my fav). Peppery too. The dark meat of the drumstick was quite tender and moist still. The white meat side was a BIT dry but not bad. Mac & Cheese was decent. Cheesy but could use a little bit more "oomph". Cole slaw was actually quite plain. Typically i'm not a fan of cole slaw b/c most of them are quite meh in my opinion. Unsure why i ordered cole slaw honestly. Definitely underwhelming. Finally the UBE CORN BREAD was pretty good. VERY mild ube flavoring. Not the moistest of corn breads i've ever had either. They give a big scoop of whipped honey? butter so that definitely helps. Oh the pickle slices they give also were good. Always a fan of good pickles (NOT sweet ones). Honestly, probably one of the better BBQ places i've had in a long while in town. I never really understood the hype of some other ones around town. So far this place and another food truck one are my probably top choices.

Was craving BBQ and thought to try this place out as they had a ube cornbread that caught my eye, wasn't a big fan of bbq :/ ordered the ribs and well they didn't hardly have the any meat and the Mac and cheese was very greasy ;( didn't end up eating it. Nothing special about the ube cornbread just tasted like regular cornbread

I came across this place when looking for a place to have a meal. It is on Dean Martin in the old Beer Zombies bar, which is really convenient to get to. When you arrive, you are greeted with an easy to use kiosk to order your meal. If you sign up for rewards, you can get $5 off your first order. As for the food, I got the one meat combo with the pulled pork, which was flavorful and mostly moist. However, there were some more crispy pieces that were a bit hard to eat. The Mac and cheese had good flavor but was a bit too firm for me. The star is their unique ube cornbread which comes with the combo meals, which had the fun cornbread texture but you could really taste the Ube flavor. When you get to go, they give you a pad of butter and sauce in their own container. The staff was super friendly and their attention to details when packing my meal was significant appreciated. Their soda fountain features Boylan soda, which are much more unique flavors than the average like black cherry. My one note would be that the flavor was great on everything but I wish it was a bit hotter in temp when I ate the pork and Mac and cheese. Overall, I would return to try other items and for that Ube cornbread. The vibe is a bar as they sell beer in can and on tap.

Pretty good BBQ. I got the brisket grilled cheese and a side of mac n cheese. The mac was delicious. The sandwich was great. The brisket is tender and tasty. Service was quick and easy. The spot is just a few seats at a bar so dine in is inside skinny fats.

Hog and Tradition recently moved to a new location just a short distance from the Strip, and it is a solid spot for BBQ. The inside is nice and has a good feel to it. I went with a group of six and even though it was pretty empty that day, the food was fresh and well-prepared. The ribs were flavorful on their own without sauce and the meat was juicy. The brisket was also good considering the time of day we came and it was not dry. The sides were enjoyable, although the ube cornbread mostly tasted like regular cornbread, which was still fine. Overall, this place delivers good BBQ and I left with no complaints.

I absolutely love trying different bbq places. I tried this place for the first time last month. I got the brisket, ribs, macaroni, greens and baked beans. The Beans and Mac were good! The ribs were tender and I enjoyed the sauce, but they had too much big black pepper flakes on them which gave it a peppery flavor that overpowered everything. I don't know if that is their thing, but I didn't enjoy them. The brisket was tender but really fatty. The greens were sad and tasteless. I wanted to enjoy this place. I may give it another try soon. I saw some other things on the menu.

I use to drive 40 minutes to this delicious place. It use to be in Henderson nv. Delicious chicharon and their ube bread is out of this world. The brisket is also moist and soft. The chocolate chip cookies are remarkable. Can't wait to try their new spot.
