The Apache is an amazing historic hotel that has been here for over 100 years. The roof top pool on the 27th floor is one of the best unknown spots in Vegas. The rowing machine in the workout area was top notch. If you book directly they give you a coupon book. I loved the vintage room and the WiFi worked GREAT. THERE ARE NO RESORT FEES AND THE INTERNET IS FREE.

Stayed here for our Anniversary week. A BAD situation happened at the hotel. This didn't make us not want to go there again. The aftermath & the way we were treated did. Security night crew, amazing! So understanding & sympathetic to what happened to us. Gave us a giftcard to eat at the hotel. So great! I wish I had gotten their names, because they deserve the praise! The next day security was awful. Ultimately this is what sealed the deal for us deciding never to return to the hotel. The room itself isn't worth it, you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway. Doors opening & closing, ppl talking, everything! The walls are paper thin. So it's hard to say if the place is really haunted. No Fridge or microwave, or any amenities really. The mattress was too small for the bed frame so there was a huge gap between the bed and the bed frame. We had to use our only two pillows we had to shove it between the bed so our head wasn't just on the ground. There was dust all behind the bed frame, we only know this because we were trying to fix the bed that didn't fit. Two different elevators just to get in the hotel & into the room itself. That alone was a hassle. Everything is extremely outdated. Everything. They made us leave our ID if we wanted to use the luggage cart to bring our stuff in. Which we needed. Never coming back. Horrible experience all around.

I love staying downtown and never stayed here so I thought I'd try it. I booked just an average room because usually I'm only in there a few hours per night. Check in was a breeze. When I entered the room I heard the toilet running. I looked around the room and was less than impressed. The bathroom was very tiny, the shower was comparable to an RV shower, barely wide enough to fit in. There was a small stained glass window, maybe 16"x24", two old wooden chairs and a small wooden table. I dropped my bags and went down to the tables. They're DEFINITELY not player friendly any more. The 6:5 blackjack is a joke. Why wouldn't you play 3:2 at a casino a block away? The new PaiGow Poker rules SUCK!!! If the dealer has two or more jacks, the player automatically loses. The bonus payout odds are less than other casinos too. After losing at the tables for an hour or so, I went to the other casinos downtown to play for the rest of my stay. I did fix the running toilet for them at no charge just so I didn't have to hear it while I was in the room. I made the mistake of staying here, it was just alright, but I won't be back.

I was always curious about staying at Hotel Apache and happy I finally decided to. It's certainly not a five star hotel but the room was cleaner than the Flamingo which I checked out of prior to this stay. On the smaller side, but more than sufficient for a solo traveler and will comfortably a couple. No mini fridge but there's an ice maker on the 2nd floor and I had a cooler which worked well. The stay comes with pool access on the top of the abandoned Binions hotel tower. The front desk was real nice during check-in and mentioned killer views from up there but I didn't venture up during my stay. They also gave me a Hotel Apache keychain which is a real thoughtful touch and a nice souvenir to have! I love old Vegas, history and haunted/creepy stories so I found it fascinating to be able to stay in the original hotel dating back to 1932 and is supposedly haunted. I stayed in room 361 and my only odd encounter was the phone rang and when I picked it up it was just a dial tone, but that could be someone mistakenly calling the room. I had a blast exploring the maze of hallways at 3am and reading the ghostly encounters posted outside the rooms. I found the most haunted room (400) in the hotel which was Benny Binions personal hideout back in the day. It's the one and only room on the fourth floor and can only be accessed by stairs. It scratched my itch for exploring something old and creepy, not that I was really expecting to experience anything but it was fun! I really have no complaints. Parking was included and free, no resort fees and I paid less than $50 per night. I also really liked how the elevator was never clogged and spits you out literally ten steps from the doors leading directly out to Fremont street. A great and convenient location. I would totally stay again.

I booked through Booking.com. Five nights on Fremont Street, including a Saturday night, for an average of about $50 a night out the door, with no resort fee? Yes, please! It's an older property. It first opened in 1932, it was closed for sometime, and then the hotel rooms were refurbished and reopened. No, I was not expecting the penthouse at the Bellagio, but I was very happy with what I got. I did not spend a lot of time in the room. It was primarily for sleeping. I asked for a room in the back of the property, and that's what I got. I was in room 271, and I did not hear one "peep" of noise from Fremont Street, and let me tell you, especially on Saturday night, they were partying Hearty out there. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and while The tub did not have a grab bar, it did have a permanent bathmat to help. Keep me from slipping. The TV had a good picture, and had a good number of channels, as well as movies to rent. Supposedly the hotel is haunted, but I did not personally have any haunted encounters. Binion's is a great property. Yes, it is an older casino, but it is kept very clean. All of the employees are friendly. If you sign up for a players card, you not only get $10 in free play, you also get free parking for your entire stay. That helped me a lot. in addition, because it was my birthday month, I also got a coupon for either a BOGO, or because I was by myself, half off my entrée in the coffee shop. No, not fancy food, but very good food for a reasonable price . Binions also has a nice T-shirt shop, where you can get good quality T-shirts for as low as only eight bucks. The only problem I had, and the only reason I am knocking down a star, was because of the Wi-Fi. It always worked well enough to do email, Facebook, etc., but at times it was spotty, and it was hard to stream video. I don't know if it was maybe because there was not enough bandwidth to cover both the casino and the hotel. I did mention it to the front desk, and she said she would let their tech people know about it. Overall, a great stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

+staying at binions means being right in the heart of the fremont street experience. The first floor leads out directly into the street. +no resort fees (possibly for a limited time?) +free parking if you have a player's card (obtaining a player's card is free) +lina at the front desk is so sweet and welcoming. She took super good care of me. +I had the biscuits and gravy as a quick snack at the binions cafe. I was issued a 5 dollar credit to the cafe upon check-in, bringing the total to around 6.50. 3 biscuits absolutely submerged in some very delicious white gravy. They also have a couple of items that get preferential pricing for having a players card but i forget what they are at the moment.... I remember a sandwich option and a chicken parm pasta option. There is a third. +there is a walgreens and an ABC store on Fremont street within steps from Binions - my room was a little on the darker side. There is one main central ceiling light and two table lights. One was out of order. The hallway into the room is also dark. I resorted to leaving the bathroom light on. -the elevator up from the parking structure is a bit small and can feel a bit congested / claustrophobic -the walls are thin in this property. as such, you might hear your neighbor playing music loudly or engaging in horizontal activities. The concerts and general partying goes on until about 2 AM, so just be aware that all of this might be audible from your hotel room depending on where you are. This property is a little older and as such, is more sparsely decorated and outfitted when compared to nicer (more expensive) choices. However, these casinos have so much spirit and character, which is something I give points for. I like this place for the Fremont experience. I'll probably be back. 53.10 for the room on third party with 6.90 in taxes and fees = 60 bucks even with NO RESORT FEE.

I'm giving Apache hotel a 4 stars for few reasons: 1. No resort fees mid week rooms average $50 or lower their sister casino four queens also doesn't charge resort fees. I don't think there's hardly any hotels in Las Vegas that doesn't charge resort fees. 2. Free parking during your stay just go get a players card and they'll give you a placard for unlimited in and out access. I would go get a players card right before check in so if you show them that the parking is free. 3. They give you a coupon book for discount and match play. 4. Check out time is 12pm not 11am like most hotels in Vegas. 5. Don't know if it's a limited time thing but they gave me 2 free breakfast during my stay that's $16.99 per breakfast. 6. You're right in the middle of Fremont street so if you want to walk around it's the perfect location. As soon as you exit the freeway Apache hotel is few blocks away very easy access. 7. Room is hardwood floor which is nice and the room was very clean. Now the cons of staying here: 1. The parking lot is very tight so you gotta be careful once you get into the garage and make your way up to the parking spots. 2. The elevator from parking lot to hotel is very small and there's only, So you might have to wait a bit. You can always take the stairs. 3. Late night dining option is limited even on Fremont street. Basically you got some over priced pizza, hotdogs and 24 hour coffee shops in each hotel that didn't impress me. I'm talking about after 12am, during weekends of course they stay open latter. I'm a night owl so during the weekday its not much options when I walked around. There is also a 24/7 White Castle near by if that's your thing. 4. If you get a room facing Fremont street it will be noisy so if you're a light sleeper better try to get a room not facing Fremont street. 5. Rooms are very tiny so if you're expecting something huge then this isn't for you. I think it's a perfect place for a couple or single traveler. For the price you can't beat it. The room has all you need ironing, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo. The ac works good. The bathroom is very tight and small extremely. Honestly I just needed a cheap place to stay and Apache hotel provided that with a clean room. No complaints for the price. The Fremont street is very noisy like almost night club noisy amd crowded all the time. I don't think Fremont street is a good place to bring kids. There's a lot of adult oriented street performers here. I also want to give a shout out to Lina who checked me in and was fabulous. She took care of all my requests and was very nice. I would definitely stay here again given the price point. The rooms are nothing fancy but very clean with hardwood floors which I like. My room there was nothing falling apart or holes in the wall or mildew or anything like that. Very simple but nice.

It's 40 degrees outside, windy and raining. I walked 3 blocks from my parking spot to the hotel. I checked in got to the room, and there's no heat! So I went to the desk and they told me they would send a repair guy up. Well no repair guy came, so I went back later to ask what's going on with the room heater not working and they told me that the "boiler" needed to warm up. Now this is an electric forced air heater there's no boiler to heat up! Since I paid the in full online and already paid the deposit I didn't want to go to another hotel, pay another deposit,etc. They wouldn't just change me over to another room. From now on in future visits to Vegas I'll just stay somewhere else.
