Wow...what a difference 6 months can make. My Husband had a nice experience then but this time sucked. Should've checked Yelp. We're a Wyndham member so everything up to check-in was fine. When he entered the room, first impression was clean. Then he heard a consistent chirping coming from the smoke detector. The kind that lets you know when the battery is low. Uh I thought these are supposed to be hardwired so no one can disable them . Called down to the front desk and the lady said they didn't have any maintenance. ITS A TUESDAY AT 4p!!! The bathroom smelled like sewage. He also found clumps of hair on the floor. Just doesn't seem like the room was cleaned well. He finally went down to the front desk and asked for another room. They were able to accommodate. But still, this stay is already soured. Will never stay here again.

What a difference from the stay I had here back in 2019! First off, the hot tub (which is the first picture you see come up on the Google booking page) was broken. We called the hotel to get info about rates and they didn't mention that. Second, the room we were assigned had a broken bathroom light that flashed then went off unless you jiggled it--a wiring issue. After we changed rooms, stains on the bathroom doors and tub and what looked like a piece of fecal matter or vomit on the shower curtain. Pretty nasty. Wish I had looked at Yelp before booking. For the price, we had a LOT of other choices that would've been nicer. The staff was really nice but the place had really fallen apart. Never again!

My Jeep was broken into by braking the back hatchback window. This happened 11/5 between the hours of 8 pm to 9am. My large suitcase & 2 tote bags were stolen. La Quinta did nothing to help us. Also a man said someone stole his 5th room while he slept, some time. I was returning from Orange County CA, after staying there for 4 months. I had to leave stuff in my logged Jeep on their property. I was in the middle of a move back to Idaho. Hotel machines; ice machine, juice machine did not work. Elevator was all a mess, needs to be clean & painted. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. All of La Quinta has lost our business as well as many of our colleagues, company business!

The 1 star is for the pleasant staff who appear to be doing their best. I have stayed at numerous La Quinta Hotels. I will not be returning to this one and in fact I have decided to drop this chain altogether. I did not attach any pictures of the room and common areas because they really are disgusting. While I have been a dog owner and love dogs too, I believe if you are going to allow pets in your hotel, you HAVE TO have the staff to clean all the rooms and common areas throughout the day AND clean the furniture too!! The halls and rooms are full of pet hair. The halls and elevators stink like dog business. The furniture in the rooms is filthy and you have to wonder if the dog owners let the animals on the furniture and beds. I understand the shortage of the post-pandemic work force is challenging and the practice experienced at most hotels is to not provide housekeeping services unless you spend at least three nights, HOWEVER if that is the case this establishment should provide the following: Have plenty of toilet paper and kleenex in the rooms, check to make sure the blow dryer and other promised room amenities are in place, provide extra towels, and CHANGE OUT THE TEENIE TINY TRASHCANS TO LARGER TRASH CANS in the rooms! The horrible two nights we spent here culminated with watching a guest in his pajamas walk into the lobby/breakfast area with his bathroom trashcan overflowing and dump it into the breakfast trash recepticle WHERE WE WERE GETTING OUR COFFEE. I MADE SO MANY TRIPS TO THE FRONT DESK TO GET SUPPLIES FOR MY IN-LAWS AND MYSELF I SHOULD REALLY GET EMPLOYEE BENEFITS! If you still decide to stay here after reading this, be aware the King bedroom family suites are on the far end of the building right by the 95 freeway and are extremely noisy and bright from the outside spot lights. We had two of those rooms and both were in horrible shape and we all barely got any sleep. One of the televisions did not work. The walls and doors are filthy. The carpets have stains which makes me cringe because they could be from those adorable dogs. When I first arrived and wiped up some water drips on the floor in front of the refrigerator, the tissue I used was so dirty it was apparent the floors where not clean. There is one set of elevators at each end of the building, but the far end elevator was out of service the entire three days we were there. I apologize for this long review, however I felt is necessary to share my experience. I must sign off now to go clean and sanitize everything I brought into this hotel and try to get the trash can incident out of my memory bank.

In my experience, all La Quinta's I have stayed at, have been consistently good at keeping their rooms clean and tidy. This La Quinta seems to be the exception to that experience. We got a suite thinking it will be nicer and bigger. It was bigger, but came with several challenges. The separate bedroom window darkening curtains did not close all the way keeping the blaring light in the parking lot diffused in our room throughout the night. In the morning, the sun came right in the room waking us up with a headache and an unrestufl sleepless 2 nights! Being located right next to the freeway, we heard cars, trucks and motorcycles passed by all night. The bathroom had blood spots upon entrance. The toilet paper had blood spots on the side. The carpets were dirty and looked like they weren't vacuumed at all. The sofas looked like from the '70s, stained in dirty. To top it off, the towels they provided smelled awful. I've never taken a shower and then smelled after wiping myself down. Disgusting is an understatement. Not meaning to sound sexist, but being a guy, I don't get disgusted that often. This hotel surely was the exception. I did not put my foot on the floor and ended up not showering the second day. I've stayed at all types of hotels, motels, and hostels in several countries including 3rd world countries. I have to say, this one definitely is in the top three most disgusting places I've ever stayed! The positives; there's lots of parking and it's fairly centralized, so you do have access to restaurants and stores. As a conclusion, instead of a sorry to hear about your experience reply from the hotel, i'd much rather have the hotel take geniune initiatives to change their oversight into housekeeping and guest services, and create a better experience for their guests.

Here for another follow up Doctors specialist appointment from the damage "The Butcher of Havasu" did to me and this location is close to the doctors office but kind of dirty & disappointing, here's a pic of the microwave turn table, it was not cleaned neither was the rest of the inside. Dirty floors and more, try the Hampton across the street instead. The But her costs me a lot of discomfort, grief, pain & money...

Everything ! We used to stay here a few years ago and it has certainly declined. To start with, the room. The hot water lasted only a few minutes. The shower was disgustingly gross. Drain clogged with what appeared to be years of people's hair who knows what else. Mold on ceiling above the shower head. Now the free breakfast. Haha. Waffle mix was like water. Never did make a good waffle. Only breads and yogurts. Nothing else. Used to be eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The one star is for the nice lady working the desk on the night shift. The rooms are dated, and the place could use a makeover. I looked inside the rec room. Both of the treadmills were out of order. There was no orange juice available from the juice dispenser during our whole visit. One day, they ran out of sausage. Another day, there was no apple juice in the dispenser. The AC in the room was functional, but at times it would vibrate rather loudly. Too loud to leave on while sleeping. I booked my reservation through hotels.com. The evening after we checked in, I noticed that La Quinta had charged me for the room. When I pointed this out, the nice woman working the night shift reversed the charges. However, a day later the same thing happened again! This time, is was for a smaller amount. Maybe this represented the remainder of my stay? In any case, this time the lady didn't see it on my account so she couldn't do anything about it. I checked out with a different woman on the day shift. After I explained my predicament, she was rather dismissive. To make matters worse, she made the completely moronic comment that I should take it up with hotels.com. Why would I do that? Hotels.com rightfully has my money. It's La Quinta that's charging me twice for the same room!
