Lobby bar on the ground floor of the MGM Hotel, I had some credit that needed to be used and it could be used at this Lobby Bar which has all different types of alcoholic drinks and also regular drinks. Ordered two bottles of water and a martini and a gin & soda. The chairs are velvet and super comfy. I did enjoy the fast service and also the quietness that was in the area at the time.

I'm amazed this bar has such low stars. We stopped for a couple drinks while wandering the strip. The drinks were good and the service was great. The bar is a typical lobby bar with lots to look at and see while enjoying a cocktail.

Good drinks, but sloooooow service... Stopped in at Lobby Bar located in the middle of the MGM Grand Casino to watch a little football and have some drinks. While the cocktail waitresses are very nice, the bartenders are extremely slow. And I should say that they weren't even that busy. They were too busy watching the football game themselves....

Came here to have a drink I've been here several times before Walked in and we sat at a table I ordered a margarita, friend ordered a Moscow mule Waitress was friendly but my drink was horrible friend said his drink was off also I HATE returning drinks Usually I just take one for the team (my team lol) and I drink it and don't complain But if I wanted a watered down drink for $16 I would have just gotten a bottled water !! So I apologized to the waitress and I mentioned my drink was weak AF Her reply was that the drinks are measured That is fine But I don't think the bartender measured anything to be honest I ended up ordering a shot to add to my drink As I was finishing my drink the bar was closing shortly after midnight It's VEGASSSSS WTH ....... A friend suggested this Bar for a fun, mutual meeting spot before the Katt Williams Comedy Show at the MGM Grand, Saturday Jan, 25,25! I did not order food and wasn't aware there was food on the menu! HOWEVER......I ordered my staple, Lemon Drop Martini! I did not like the taste. It seemed that something was missing! After grabbing the bartenders attention (1st time) he remade the Lemon drop!!! AWFUL, the second time! I wasn't aware that the bar was out of Limoncello which explained the missing component! The bartender never told me however, just gave me a stone face after asking for a fix the second time! By the third try I just ordered moscato. I gladly left that horrible moscato and the bad service after the experience! I could have made a fuss about the terrible tasting drinks but the bartender already seemed "miffed" and appalled so I gladly exit and tried another bar. Nice place to meet friends but I was disappointed more about the service than the horrible drinks!

Typical Vegas hotel bar. Lobby Bar is located in the middle of MGM. Service was crap. Server at the bar was super rude and douchey. Jameson and Ginger - $15 - Simple drink, was not made well either. Overpriced casino liquor, I get better drinks at the tables.

Inside the MGM Grand... we were thrilled to find this place open when so much isn't during Covid. Tables are spaced appropriately apart. You can smoke at the table. And our server was absolutely fantastic! This was exactly what we were looking for to have a pre-dinner cocktail and take a break from gambling. Bartender working that day made a perfect Mai Tai. Couldn't have asked for more!

Cyra immediately didn't want to help us as soon as we walked in. We asked for ginger ale drinks from the waitresses who said we needed to play a game. We end the and player craps and forgot to ask for a drink, which is how we got there. We asked for a menu she said there was none it changed daily. I asked for ginger ales since what else do I know off hand at this point. She gave us ginger ales then harassed us over $10 for two. SERIOUSLY the same drinks you would literally give me in the seat beside me?!?! NEVER AGAIN! And I'm pretty sure there were several working ladies which is why she treated me badly but that's still doesn't suffice!

I think Lobby Bar is getting a bit of an unfair shake in some of the reviews. As the name suggests, it's a lobby bar with a predominantly transient clientele either rallying the troops and pre-gaming before heading elsewhere, or closing down a long night in a quaint and cozy atmosphere that still has a nice view of the casino floor for prime people watching. As a few reviews angrily mention, Lobby Bar has no food. While not always ideal, I have never negatively reviewed a bar for not serving food. There is a shop right around the corner by the Grand Tower elevators where you can buy snacks (and Padron cigars for $12) that can be taken into Lobby Bar if not having something to shove into your face is going to ruin your entire experience. There is apparently a two drink minimum though I know I only ordered one drink on a couple of occasions and never realized [shrug]. They did have a DJ one night and while the music he was playing was amazing, it was way too loud. The bar was filled with parties trying to have conversations and you couldn't hear at all. Minor complaint because hey, the music WAS amazing. The whiskey selection was good and the bartenders make a mean dirty martini. I saw several reviewers complain about service. Sometimes Lobby Bar has servers present and sometimes it's just the bartenders, who do not leave the bar. Take a look around when you get there. Do you see servers? No? Then walk to the bar. Easy, amirite?! Lobby Bar was one of the highlights of my stay at the MGM Grand. It's not that your expectations should be low for this place, but they should be realistic: it's a lobby bar. Do lobby bar things. You'll be ok, baby birds.
