Bought the Pit master special and it didn't disappoint . The food is amazing here and very flavorful . Service is excellent and the loved how it's decorated . A true hidden gem and a must try !!

I really wanted to like this place. The ambiance was promising--picnic tables covered in plastic, eclectic Texas-style décor, and great Texas blues music playing in the background. It had that Southern vibe that made me hopeful for some good BBQ. Unfortunately, the food and service just didn't deliver. We waited about ten minutes just for drinks (three sweet teas and a can of soda), then another thirty minutes for food. For BBQ, that's just too long. When the food finally came out, the boxes were heavy, which gave us hope. But the taste didn't match the weight. The ribs were grey, overcooked, and completely flavorless. The pulled pork was chopped instead of pulled, with no smoke, no seasoning, and no color. The brisket had a decent texture, but again--where was the salt, pepper, or smoke? Every meat lacked the basics of good Texas BBQ. The sauces were okay if you like them very sweet. The "spicy" had a little kick but nothing special. The sides were hit or miss. The coleslaw was the standout--fresh and flavorful, my wife said it was the best thing on the table. The black-eyed peas had good flavor but were a little too al dente. The greens had potential but fell flat. The beans tasted straight out of a can with some leftover meat thrown in. To be fair, they did give us free refills of sweet tea (though they said they usually charge extra). Bottom line: $112 for four people isn't terrible, but it's not worth it for what we got. I love BBQ and had high hopes for this place, but the food just wasn't it.

This spot is in a kind of an odd half closed shopping center. The interior is fun with lots of unique signs. The manager greeted us and said they had no red beans and rice. He did give us an extra side We got chicken pork and beef. From ribs to rib tips, pulled pork, chicken and brisket. Food was good. Sides of baked beans and macoroni salad.. All of the meat was a bit dry. Possibly overcooked. The exception was the brisket. It was exceptionally fatty. I am not negative on this business. I want to go again. I can't grill at my condo and we wanted to celebrate the 4th of July early. This place helped us out. God Bless America. Cheers to all!

I'm a Texan, so my BBQ standards are high. We ordered the brisket platter to go. The brisket had great flavor, but it was uneven. Some was perfectly tender; some was a bit chewy. Texas brisket should always be melt-in-your-mouth, cut-with-a-fork tender. This was disappointing. The potato salad was good, but I would have preferred a less sweet pickle in it. It tasted as if bread and butter pickles were used. The wall menu is off-putting with its masking tape to indicate items no longer available and price changes. While I understand this is a developing business and most likely they don't have funds to have a new wall menu printed, this wall menu looks shoddy. A chalkboard would have looked nicer. The many funny signs on the walls are entertaining. The serving sizes were large, and the prices reasonable. We will likely try them again.

They're never open!!!! Tried to place an order at 3:30 on a Wednesday. Says they don't close till 7:00 so why can't o order at 3:30??! That's just bad customer service. I was so happy to find this place but now. I'm done. Not even gonna try anymore. Goodbye.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let fool you. The food was excellent and the gentleman serving us was very friendly. We got the 3 meat Pit Master special that came with beans and we also ordered a side of Cole slaw. The side were much larger than most places as well. They had cute signs everywhere and picnic tables and played fantastic Blues music. We will definitely be back here

I'm sorry but this is not it don't do Texas this way this is not Texas bbq at out ribs over cooked taste the dirty smoke on the dried out chicken and the hot links remind me of a slim Jim ...... and I even gave them a try after showing up on Wednesday with a sign on the door saying it was closed till Thursday

This is a hidden gem in Las Vegas tucked away behind the shadow of the Santa Fe casino. The service is always consistent and they offer good menu recommendations. The food stands up against all the major BBQ restaurants this side of the strip.

This is the worst bbq place I've been to. Once we walked in it smelt horrible like there is no type of ventilation, and there was no one up front.We waited 10 min for someone to come to the front. The food was flavorless without the sauce. I like a tangy spicy bbq with my meats so I asked for spicy bbq what I got was a sweet bbq sauce. The pulled pork was not pulled it was chopped up. The ribs were dry!The only thing that was okay were the greens but nothing special. Definitely don't waste your money here .

I didn't know about this place. I guess it just opened. I ordered online on their website and picked it up. It is a hole in the wall but from experience that is the best food! The ribs were tender and falling off the bone. The potato salad tastes like my mama made it. The Mac n cheese was okay but still better than most. I can't wait to try everything else!
