Finally made it here! It was a rainy night and I was in the mood for soup. I was happy to learn that it's open at night. I ordered the chicken noodle soup with a half pastrami sandwich . The chicken noodle soup was extremely flavorful and hearty! The cup was as big as a bowl! The pastrami was amazing! Just be right amount of pepper and sliced thin and very lean! It was topped with provolone cheese! The swirl bread was lightly toasted and good. The portions are generous! We also had matzoh ball soup. Everything is made fresh and all the meats are smoked in house! We were also offered bagel chips with pumpkin cream cheese which was their flavor of the month! We also loved the bakery section and took home some goodies! Will definitely be back for breakfast!

One of my top two delis in Las Vegas along with Siegel's Bagelmania. You can order the Reuben sandwich and share it as it's so big it feeds two. They start every lunch with baked bagel chips and cream cheese. The Reuben sandwich comes with cucumber salad and fries.

There is something for everyone on the menu and they are super accommodating to making any changes. Though I enjoyed my meal and I'll never forget their menu presentation I didn't try anything that was memorable. The staff members here are kind and they know their stuff.

As close as it gets to an original old school deli from New York. You can come here 20 times and have something different each time that won't disappoint and still not make a dent in the menu. Word of the wise, study the menu ahead of time as it can be overwhelming especially if you are already hangry. Also, parking can be a nightmare during prime times such as weekend brunch hours. Dining room is always bustling and has a nice New York memorabilia decor. Best deli in Vegas for sure.

Solid food and service, but the standout for me were all the goodies in the bakery Bagel chips & cream cheese: crouton like crisps with creamy cheese and for free just hits the spot, 4/5 stars. Lox and everything bagel: smokey salmon, fresh veggies, and an authentic NY bagel, 4/5 stars. Matzo ball: hearty and goes well with half a sandwich, 4/5 stars. Half pastrami sandwich on rye: juicy and well-seasoned pastrami, 4/5 stars. Classic cheesecake: simple but perfect creamy texture with tangy and sweet notes, 4/5 stars. Mini black and white cookie: another classic and well executed here, 4/5 stars. Florentine cookie: these are sweet and satisfying, 5/5 stars! The bakery has numerous options that I will have to return to try more!

Amazingly it had been seven years since I had last dined here, even though I loved the food the last time around, and vowed to return often. After how good my food was on this latest occasion, and taking into account the breadth of the expansive menu, this lapse will not be likely to reoccur in the future. After complimentary Bagel Chips and cream cheese, and a sliced Kosher Dill Pickle, I began with a large bowl of Matzoh Ball Soup filled with numerous shreds of white meat chicken, circular carrots, celery, oodles of noodles, soft Matzoh Balls, and very tasty broth. Then for my main I selected a combo sandwich of Lean Corned Beef & Chopped Liver on Rye augmented by Red Onion, fresh lettuce, red tomato, and mild Yellow Mustard. Although this sammy wasn't as physically imposing as the "mile high" version that was almost impossible to get one's mouth around sold at the now-shuttered Carnegie Deli inside the also deposed Mirage, this half pounder was massive enough that I knew I would be taking half home for lunch the next day when I ordered it, which is exactly what I did. Diane enjoyed a Roast Beef French Dip with French Fries, delicious au jus, and a slice of Carrot Cake that was two bricks high and contained "melt in your mouth" frosting. She, too, brought home most of what she received on her plate. Potato Salad and Cole Slaw were first-rate. A small amount of Provolone Cheese on her French Dip was the only criticism she reported on the food she received. While the food was as great as ever, and we received accurate and friendly service by Nicole B. except for having to ask for our ordered bagels that came with the soup, I had a difficult time getting anyone to help me at the deli counter where I was trying to buy six bagels to take home. A man behind the counter barked to me and the only other couple there that we had to form a line before we could be served. But where to form it? There were two signs for take-out ordering and three spread out cash registers. I told the couple to go first because I thought they had arrived ahead of me. Then they proceeded to order dessert after dessert! At length another man behind the counter said that he would wait on me soon. Then he left the room and soon came back--only to begin preparing complex sandwiches with his back to me. Eventually, while my soup was losing heat at my table, another man (not "Ole Yeller") did appear to bag the assorted bagels I selected, and the female cashier who accepted payment was friendly, but customer service behind the counter has declined. Additionally, payment by credit card now results in a $2.00 assessment. I paid by cash, "generously" (I thought) telling our server to "keep the change"--only to see her again at the door as Diane and I were leaving, informing me that my payment was short. I had been juggling money from my wallet at the table, so could understand how I might have miscounted. Thus, I quickly coughed up the missing Twenty Dollar bill, a little embarrassed at my mistake.

Here is a quiz..Q: When is a fat pastrami sandwich lean? ..A: When you order it at the Bagel Cafe. The pastrami sandwich is nice and packed (fat) with nice lean pastrami..Delicious and very filling. It came with your choice of salad. I opted for the Potato salad which was quite good and a side of crisp fries. Whenever you come to Bagel Cafe you get a complementary plate of bagel chips and flavored cream cheese. Today it was apple which was nice. Always 5 out of 5 here. Always great for breakfast or lunch. Be advised it gets slammin for breakfast on the weekends. Good stuff, wish I lived closer.

As a NYC native, I was excited to find The Bagel Café here in Las Vegas--and it really does hit the spot! The bagels are fresh, chewy, and flavorful, and the cream cheese is smooth and piled on perfectly. It feels like a little taste of home in the desert. That said, the price did surprise me--$6.50 for a bagel with cream cheese is definitely on the higher side. In New York, that's usually a full deli experience! Still, for the quality and the comfort of a real bagel outside NYC, it's a treat I'd come back for when the craving hits. The shop itself has that classic, bustling deli feel, with rows of bagels and spreads that make it hard to choose just one. If you're looking for a true bagel experience in Vegas, this is it!

The Bagel Cafe is as good as it's gonna get for an authentic delicatessen experience HERE IN LAS VEGAS! I've tried a few bagel places (bagels being at the top of my list for guilty pleasures) & they've been good or bad for various reasons, but this place is good for just about EVERYTHING! The menu looks like a small newspaper, and it's filled with so many yummy things I can't find anywhere other than here in Las Vegas. Whether we eat in their bustling dining room, or getting take out, the portions are generous & delicious. We have indulged in heaping pastrami & corned beef sandwiches, challah french toast, deserts & pastries galore,... If you take a few minutes to review the menu, you'll absolutely find something to suit your taste. Parking is a little tricky, as it's in a small business shared lot, so try to plan your visit on off-popular dining hours. (We've managed to always find parking & no wait for a table upon doing so.) Service is very good & if you're not sure what you're doing, just ask one of their friendly staff. (Ordering take-out is done at a different counter than those paying & it's hard to see, so just ask if it's confusing. It was for me the first time.) The clientele here seems to be mostly retired folks, and I don't mind it at all. So far, every visit, patrons are smiling & seem to be happy dining there. If you want to try some authentic delicatessen style food, I implore you to try The Bagel Cafe. I may even dare to say, you absolutely won't be disappointed you did!

Great food and good portions. Friends had the omelette and another had the salmon salad which was a massive piece of salmon on top of the salad. And of course the bagels were good too! Very busy and bustling place and a loud open room, but it gave it a good vibe. Really enjoyed the tender corned beef and the choice of brisket cut gives the option for more lean meat. Juicy and very tasty. Definitely enjoyed it all!
