An entertainment giant unknown to most Las Vegas visitors. The Smith Center in Las Vegas is home to diverse entertainment venues to be enjoyed by all in Las Vegas. Their programs are top-notch including the Las Vegas Philharmonic, jazz, ballet, pop music, Broadway plays, etc. The program prices are reasonable and the Smith Center is a 5 star facility offering adult beverages, hors d'oeuvres, excellent service, and parking in a beautiful park-like setting. Check the programming if you live in the area or planning to spend a few days in Las Vegas I attended the Serpintine Fire Show, a Tribute to Earth, Wind, and Fire. A fantastic musical presentation.

The Smith Center is like no other venue in Las Vegas. It is a cultural epicenter for the arts. Most recently we saw A Beautiful Noise. Getting in and out can get busy closer to showtime. We typically arrive when the doors open and enjoy a cocktail before the show and make use of their lounge area, which makes parking a breeze. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house but I recommend binoculars if you're seated in the balcony in order to see facial expressions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As of this review guest are allowed to bring an empty clear bottle for water. There are water fill stations inside. Drink prices are typical for the area with a double rum and coke going for $17. Parking is $6.

The Smith Center is the premier place to see a theater show in Las Vegas! The building is a beautiful Art Deco style with amazing architectural detail. The staff are polite and helpful. They generally have cash bars available to get drinks before the shows and at intermissions. We were fortunate to get tickets for Hamilton. The production was great. However, the staff we interacted with made this experience great!

After all of the years that I have lived in Vegas- I cannot believe that I have never been to the Smith Center until recently! A friend of mine gave me a ticket to see Hamilton last week, box seats at that! What an amazing venue! The Smith Center is conveniently located downtown, near the freeway, with a parking garage right across the street. Parking was only $6 for the entire duration of my stay. Drinks inside of the venue are very reasonably priced. The venue itself is beautiful! Now having been exposed to this venue, I will most definitely be returning for more shows!

After attending performances at The Smith Center for many years, I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. It's not just a theater, but a space where the arts truly come alive. Each December, the annual tradition of seeing The Nutcracker has become a special part of my family's Christmas Eve. This production is always breathtaking, professional & elegant. Over the years, we've enjoyed a wide variety of performances, from Broadway musicals to orchestras and touring shows. Without exception, the quality has always been outstanding! Most recently, we saw Hamilton! It was every bit as spectacular as we hoped. The sound, staging, and overall production @The Smith Center continue to rival any major venue. The theater itself is simply stunning! Timeless architecture with comfortable seating and excellent acoustics in every corner of the house. The staff and volunteers are always gracious and organized, making each visit smooth & enjoyable. The Smith Center is a vital part of the Las Vegas community and a symbol of the city's growing commitment to the arts. **The Majority of shows don't allow any photography or video- Please abide! All phone ringers off & out of site! Although, DWTS does allow both (photo & video). **Grab a bite or cocktail before the show.

I have been here a few times to see the Nevada Ballet. I have sat I. The mezzanine level and down in the orchestra level. This occasion we had dress circle right seats 4 rows back from the front. We had a good view of the stage with little on the right side of the stage that we could not see, but since mostly support cast was in that location we were ok with the view. Smith center has become a cashless venue so being cash if you want to tip, but not necessary because you can add tip to the card reader. Prices for drinks were not too bad. We don't drink alcohol so we had 2 Shirley Temples for a total of $12.00. I love the Broadway series the Smith Center brings in.

Attended another great show here at the Smith Center. Some Like It Hot was great with a interesting storyline, great dancing and singing. This venue is absolutely beautiful with great seating, sound and lights and wonderful friendly staff. Will be returning for future performances.

Was treated to tickets for the Peter Pan Ballet, and wow! What a treat! This was my first time going to the Smith center. I appreciated the $6 event parking just up the street. The venue was well maintained, bathroom's were clean, and staff were extremely friendly. The ballet was delightful. You could see the amount of time and effort the dancers had put into the performance. Well done.

Some like It Hot. Fantastic!!!!!! Music, acting, choreography was sensational, costumes and costume changes, The actors were so talented. One of the best plays I have seen there in many years. WOW!!!! The 2 main actors were so talented. The dancers were absolutely fabulous. The man who played Oscar was perfect. Loved him. What a great show. It took so many people to put it on. Scores of people to put on that play. I loved the movie so I immediately got tickets for the play. Don't want to forget anyone, musicians, other characters in the play. All of them outstanding. What a great production. Accolades to all. Thank you Smith Center

My friend invited me to a live speaker show here and gave me a tour of the venue. I definitely enjoyed the tour and the show. It was National Geographic "Wild Cats Revealed" and I learned many things I didn't know about. The showroom itself was impressive with stadium like seatings. The chandeliers were beautiful. The elevators were clean and modern. Seats were plenty and comfy. The only drawback is that we have to park in the garage and pay for parking and there's no food allow in showroom I look forward to coming back here for other shows
