Tournament of Kings was so much fun and actually exceeded my expectations! The dinner + show combo takes place at Excalibur (lower level where the arcade is). Dinner included a drink, chicken, potatoes, corn, bread, and an apple pastry for dessert. The meal was generously portioned and I barely finished a third of it. The show was fun and entertaining for all ages! We had a toddler that was scared at some parts because it was kind of loud, but she loved participating and interacting with the "maiden" :). We bought tickets online when they had a $10 off promo. Would definitely recommend it.

Date of show: September 7, 2025 Seats are a bit low, feels like you're sitting at the kids table! First interaction was, "Would you like to buy alcohol?" No greeting or welcome. Second person was more friendly, but told me I can choose Pepsi or water, not both which seems odd and the reason for that was, "I don't have any extra cups..." as I look to my right at an entire empty row of seats all with cups placed in front of each vacant chair... The food was just okay, and the lack of utensils was odd, seems more like a way to save money on plasticware and/or dishwashing. The cornish hen was pretty good, though the corn was clearly baked far earlier and reheated--I've never tasted corn kernels with this kind of texture before! The apple turnover was very poor. At least the entertainment was good, appreciated the loose story and the way the actors got into the story, especially the wizard and the king, though they were all good. A bit disappointed that most of the actors were just lip-synching to prerecorded tracks, though that didn't detract how handsome some of them were!

I'm not sure what I was expecting but I think I'll stick with Medieval Times. We bought our tickets online in advance. We bought early and they had a summer sale, so we were able to score tickets for about $60/person, which is a great deal for dinner and a show in Vegas. We had seats in the Spain section (Category B seating) in Row D. The view was good, but note: The seating in this row was more crowded - it's stadium-style seating and if someone has to get past you, everyone has to scoot out of their seats to let you through (not all of the rows were like that, but ours was). We opted for the 6pm show, and they start on time. The show is located in Excalibur, on the lower level where the kid's arcade is. This family-friendly location is an indication of the style of the show and clientele. There are no bathrooms inside the arena, so they encourage you to use the arcade restrooms before entering. We were celebrating a birthday. Merlin will announce your special occasions to the group before the show starts, but you need to arrive early to give your information to the hostess stand in advance. We rolled in right before show time and just missed the cut-off. Doors open 30 minutes before show time. Food was to be expected - you're going primarily for the show, not for the meal. The meal was hot and served immediately (literally as soon as we sat down). It's a fun "hands-on" meal - Cornish hen, roll, corn on the cob, and potatoes. The Cornish hen was cooked and seasoned well and is a large portion size. The rest of the dinner was pretty bland and lacked basic seasoning. You also get your choice of Pepsi or Starry included with your meal; water is available upon request. There is also an option to order specialty drinks. Service was good. During the show, they checked on us multiple times to refill drinks, clear plates, see if we needed anything, and provide us with dessert - an apple square with a crown design. They even provided you with a wet wipe to clean your hands at the end of the meal. The show does have pyrotechnics and fireworks. Even with the warnings, I definitely yelped a few times in surprise from the noise. The show was okay. I didn't follow the plot very closely and was expecting more action from the "kings." This show had more variety with its acts - I thought there would be more challenges/competitions with the kings on their horses, but there was actually a fair amount of singing and dancing to spread merriment and encourage audience participation (think "cheers" and "huzzahs"). There was some action of horse-riding, sword fights, etc., but I guess they can only do so much in the limited amount of time they have. The show was quick - the whole event ran from 6-7:15pm, and then it was time to turn over for the 8:30pm seating. This type of event is good to experience at least once, but unless you have kids to entertain, there are definitely more entertaining things to do when in Vegas.

We had a blast here. I've been to this one a few times and it's always so much fun...for the most part same script but different winner. Either way still so much fun and interactive. The food they serve is chicken, baby potatoes, a bread roll and a small piece of corn on the cob. Chicken and potatoes actually have a really good flavor to them. The dessert is some sort of apple tart which is really good as well. They offer cocktails which we ordered on our most recent visit. We ordered a mojito and a strawberry margarita. The drinks were really good!

Fun times! Great for families or even couples. We didn't have to pay since we got comped, but even at regular price this event is worth the money - you get a meal and an entertaining show. The show creates a fun crowd atmosphere, as the entertainers get everyone involved with cheers and hooting. They even encourage pounding on the tables. The food is also extremely good too considering how many meals they have to prepare. You get a whole toasted chicken that is well seasoned and juicy. The potatoes are also nicely seasoned. All you can drink Pepsi or water. You can order other drinks including alcohol. Be warned that you eat with your hands - all part of the fun and atmosphere. Highly recommend this show if you're looking for something to do in Vegas.

Tournament of Kings is a great choice for solid entertainment - and it includes dinner with the price! The show itself is fun and they do their best to get the audience involved, which can be really fun if your section is especially enthusiastic (okay, rowdy - lol). There's jousting, swordplay, dancing, and even a little sing-along. Fun for families and couples - or if a group of friends want to go crazy and say, "Huzzah!" throughout the night. The meal is roasted chicken, potatoes, corn, and bread. The chicken is actually tender and juicy, which is really good considering how many they make - so they've got this down. Everything was seasoned well and the only thing that was "meh" was the bread. But the rest of the meal was a large enough portion and satisfying. It comes with only Pepsi or water, but you can buy alcoholic drinks. Our tickets were comped, but we've bought tickets before because it's a good deal considering all you get - dinner and an evening's fun entertainment. Good to try at least once ... or twice...lol

This is the second time I've attended this show. Close to a decade ago- my partner and I had too many drinks on the strip before attending and while we didn't remember the whole show- we had a fantastic time. We returned this year to see the show again (this time significantly more sober) and we weren't disappointed. Jousting, choreographed fights, belly dancers, phyrotechniques. You can't go wrong. Is it the best food I've had at a medieval dinner? No but it was fine. I think the show is great but medieval times still is in the lead with themed drinks, plot, and joust. Either way is a great time when you're in vegas.

SUPRISINGLY DELIGHTFUL SHOW When I visit Vegas I am very selective on watching shows. You are sacrificing about 2.5 or 3 hours of your time in the evening. Depending on where the show is located and what hotel you are staying you might have to plan half a day. For these reasons I do not watch a lot of shows while I'm at Vegas. The shows I've watched in Vegas not one of them were bad and in turn never regret attending these shows. When I made a reservation at Excalibur I decided to purchase a ticket for myself to watch this show. I watched the Tournament of Kings on Monday the day after Easter. The Tournament of Kings is touristy show targeting family and kids. I thought the show would be corny and cheesy as a musical play. I was wrong about the Tournament of Kings as it's an entertaining show. You cheer for the king based on the section you sit; I sat on the Spain section. With the interaction of the kings revving up the audience before certain events made the show engaging. The price of admission comes with dinner. To experience how people ate in the Middle Ages there are no utensils as you eat with your hands. Also in the Middle Ages spices were not introduced. Even though the chicken was moist it was flavorless. The Tournament of Kings isn't one of the best shows I ever saw in Vegas. However this show exceeded my expectations. This show is meant to watch only once. If you watch it multiple times this show can be "long in the tooth". If you watch it once I think you'll have an entertaining time. What Tournament of Kings did was prevent me of 2.5 or 3 hours of losing money by gambling at the casino.

This is hands down one of my favorite entertainment options in Vegas! This show is enjoyable for both kids and adults, and is very interactive with the audience! I highly recommend sitting in the dragon section, it was the best time both cheering and booing throughout the show. The food was also surprisingly delicious, as the chicken was both juicy and flavorful! The meal also came with your drink of choice, a roll, corn, potatoes, and an apple turnover for dessert. If you're planning a trip to Vegas, go to the Tournament of Kings, it's worth the money!

This was a first time for my son and I. It was really fun. I loved the crowd engagement. The pyrotechnics and combat were very enjoyable. The food was just okay. The meat was seasoned well, but slightly overcooked in some areas. The potatoes were overcooked and bland. The corn and roll were okay. The apple pie was good with a nice, flaky crust. I did appreciate that Pepsi or water were included and served in the large tankards. I would definitely recommend going to the show, but maybe plan to get a little more to eat afterwards.
