Warning: Do NOT rent from this company. This business is a complete scam. You are required to pay the full price up front before you're even allowed to see the van -- and once you do, the vehicle is either nonexistent or not in working condition. When I tried to resolve the issue, I couldn't get a proper response. I was told a manager would call me back with a solution, but that never happened. They failed to provide a clean, functional van, and I ultimately did not receive the service I paid for. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment -- look elsewhere.

I must say, this is all in my opinion- This is a dishonest,abusive & greedy co.Don't rent here; rent from a co that cares about your experience.I'm an honest person.I pay bills without dispute.I honor contract agreements.Rarely do I write a bad review.I almost forwent this review but decided future victims need to know.This co doesn't respect their customers.I believe I spoke with a top tier representative-there was nobody above her I could speak to, I asked. This woman deleted our entire 2 week text convo & stopped picking up my calls seconds after she ran my card for the very costly, over $2k bill. A decent co would have treated me with kindness & understanding, a little empathy, maybe even a compromise of cost, if any cost at all. Instead, I was lied to, and our conversations were altered. I returned the van 2 days after renting it. I was supposed to have it for 2 weeks. The company took zero responsibility & instead became hostile & belittling over a 2 week span.The issue was the front passenger seat wasn't removable and I needed my caregiver to remove it. They say, it says in the FAQ's it doesn't come out. I didn't ask. I say, they were obligated to tell me it can't be removed if I needed it to be. After all, it is due to their false advertising that I had no reason to read the FAQ's or ask. The site says they will remove the passenger seat if needed! & there's a picture of a woman in a wheelchair sitting in the front passenger space! No need to ask. I opened a dispute with my card co. I lost. I was told I have a promising case for a civil suit, but because the charge wasn't accidental visa can't refund me. Since the van was made available to me I had to pay. The details of the situation aren't important in an appeal with my card co. Nobody should have a rental experience go like it did for me. No one should be treated like I was. I imagine the tyrant will come back with some lacklustre response showing again, the lack of respect they show their customers. It says a lot when 2 other reputable van rental companies say they've heard only bad things about Wheeler's.Save yourself the frustration, rent from somewhere that cares about your experience.
