fist of all I want to say this review is in reference to another review saying they received bad customer service from and employee and management...I was in there while this issue came up and noticed this customer became really upset when notified by the employee anparo that she would be unable to take cash payment as this was a cashless establishment right away the customer became arrogant and rude employee kept calm all the time and repeatedly told her she would gladly help her at the kiosk but patient refused she wanted her order at front when she reached the front she was told again it was card only and she agreed to move to the side while she deposited money to her account. employee proceeded to help next customer in line while she did that . employee grew even more rude and upset and employee proceeded to call management where customer proceeded to complain and lie about the situation saying the employee was rude and refused to offer her service! at all time employee and manager maintained a calm and respectful attitude. Im so tired of seeing people be put down just because people can't follow simple instructions in an establishment! You should have done your reviews and known it's cashless since the beginning! but to put down an employee just for doing their job is ridiculous! I just want to say I received great customer service and admire how calm that situation was handled aside of how rude this customer acted towards them!

I have been waiting patiently for this place to open. There was no line but most of the tables were taken. As I looked around I can see how bright it is and so clean. You order through a screen but there was someone there to assist. I was thankful for that because my screen kept getting errors so I had to order at the register like normal which is good to know they still have. I ordered the branzino with half cajun sauce and half garlic butter. I got French fries, diced zucchini with rosemary and a side of Caesar salad. The branzino was cooked to perfection and both sauces added a great taste. You get 2 filets which is nice. The zucchini was cooked and was marinating in the sauces so that was delicious. The fries were cold so I didn't eat it. I'll air fry them tomorrow. The Caesar salad was good. It had a parmesan and bread crumble which I liked. The dressing was pretty good too. This can't be considered fast food. They have cooks in the back making the dishes fresh from scratch. I really enjoyed this meal except for the fries. I will be going back for more.

The California Fish Grill is a casual "Order and Pay" at the counter fish chain restaurant. It's reasonably priced and pretty good but never perfect. They also offer limited cocktails, beer, and wine here. This new location in North Las Vegas on Craig Road also has a nice Patio. This location is also cashless so you need plastic here. I requested a medium cook on the salmon and they were happy to do that here (un-like the Centennial Location....Salmon is always over cooked there but other fishes are good). I liked the salmon and the balsamic Brussels sprouts. I wasn't crazy about the cajun and garlic butter sauces because they were more like sandwich spreads so I wouldn't get them again. The corn was tasty but a bit over cooked. My husband got the fish and chips. For some odd reason one of the pieces of fried fish had uncooked batter in the center (SEE PHOTO) but two pieces of the battered fish was good. Also the fries came out cold. (YES they were really cold). We shared some Parmesan Green Beans and they were delicious and good. The people working there were helpful and friendly. 3.75 stars rounded up.

Yelp Review 2025 #155: I actually enjoy California Fish Grill. Out of all the quick-service restaurants out there, this is one of my favorites for many reasons. Before this location on Craig opened, the closest one was the one in Centennial. So, I'm glad there's this that's closer to me. California Fish Grill makes eating healthy easy. They serve fish and seafood with plenty of side dish options. And the food is always delicious. You can get a plate for $12-15 that's packed with protein (20g-55g of protein!). Whether your goal is eat better, eat more lean protein, watch your cholesterol, lose weight, body recomp...or simply because you like eating fish, this is the spot! I always get their plate that comes with fish and two sides and sauce. I always get either salmon or ahi tuna with cauliflower rice, and fire-roasted street corn. You can't go wrong with garlic butter sauce (on the side). I've tried the miso glaze on my first trip to this location, I honestly don't even remember what it tasted like but I finished my plate so, it can't be that bad. LOL. If you're not into eating healthy, they have fish and chips, fried shrimp, tacos, fried catfish, calamari, and sandwiches. Not into fish and seafood? They have chicken breast. I personally have not tried it because I just noticed it on their menu just recently but they have ahi poke bowl. I might have to try that next time. Their fountain drinks is Stubborn Soda. I like mixing cream soda and the cherry. They also have iced tea and juices. I guess they have Pepsi. This location is a bit smaller than the Centennial location but it's cleaner. The staff is friendly. This is a CASHLESS establishment. You can order your food from a kiosk (which I prefer) or a person - just ask.

Useful Tip: This location is cashless ONLY allegedly for "safety" reasons. I've seen this place in my Too Good To Go food waste prevention app for a while now and finally decided to give them a go. I like the idea of photos on the self serve kiosk to help with ordering but I can foresee the kiosk slowing down service on busy days if/when someone indecisive like me doesn't know what to order. I opted for the fish tacos with upgraded sides (corn + brussels). The service was a little off but not worth going into detail and overshadowing the really great food I ate. I will definitely return .

This location just opened yesterday and I'm so grateful! Hubby and I dined in and although it was loud, the food and service made up for it. I ordered their battered fish tacos which were delicious! As a Mexican, I needed some salsa but honestly, that sauce they put on it was perfect! My sides were tomatoes with feta cheese and fire roasted corn, which is extra. Everything was delicious! Hubby ordered grilled salmon with rice and a Caesar salad. He ate all of it, y'all! The servings were big and cost was decent. I wish the space were bigger since lots of folks were waiting for takeout but we got a table right away. Plenty of parking up front. By the way, although it was loud and a bit chaotic , the team members were smiling and just amazingly helpful. We will be back soon.

Attended the California Fish Grill's soft opening event via Eventbrite yesterday at 1130am. We were greeted outside to check in for the invitation only event which included sign up reservation (party of 4), downloading of the app, opted for dine-in instead of take out, and was directed to the side patio to enter the building. Once inside, we were directed to the ordering kiosk where we placed our orders with the assistance of the staff. Understandably there a number of items not available during this soft opening weekend i.e. Tacos, Bowls but the available options were more than sufficient. We placed our order for: 1.Grilled Salmon w/ Diced Zucchini & Rosemary, Fire Roasted Street Corn; 2. Grilled Tilapia w/ Diced Zucchini & Seasoned Tomato & Feta; 3. Fried Catfish w/ French Fries & Fire Roasted Street Corn; and 4. Shrimp Skewers w/ White Rice & Fire Roasted Street Corn. Side note: their Drinks were included for this event which were Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sprite, and a selection of Stubborn Soda i.e. Pineapple Cream, Classic Root Beer (hands down favorite), Black Cherry Tarragon. Food tasted delicious and portions were more than enough that we were all full at the end of our meal. We lucked out with getting here at the start of service as table filled up pretty quickly as the dining area is not large which was understandable given they have carry-out available. We were also told that this location is only one here in Las Vegas valley to have a drive-thru where you can also use to pick up call ahead orders. Their app is easy to install and you get a welcome gift (free shrimp skewer). We were greeted with friendly and professional courtesy throughout our visit. Dad was reassured that the staff would be available to assist him whenever he comes back as he was unsure of using the kiosk/app for ordering. Opening Day is Monday, July 14, 2025. Be sure come out and support this location as our community here in North Las Vegas continues to grow and develop. It is a great addition to our Craig Road "Restaurant Row"! We are looking forward to our next visit!

I have been at least 10 times. It's close to my gym so I stop on the way home after placing an online order. I get various types of fish. Sometimes the branzino and sea bass. Always good and a good size portion. I get the rice and beans for the side. I don't care for the kale slaw. I've had the fish and chips also and thought it was good. Not the best but okay. A good choice for fast food. Not a lunch group choice because of the seating but for takeout I recommend it. A few more choices for sides would be welcomed though.

First let me start off my saying I eat here all the time but as of recently I had the crispy fish sandwich with creole sauce. I felt like I was back in Nola..highly recommend it!!!
