Just did a party of 16 people - all guests were positive about the experience - location worked due to being at Nellis AFB - Service was friendly and effective. Best job of checking drink regreshing I have experienced in atleast 10 years-as an old school F&B guy - kudos!! Really good ceasar salad - if you like garlic and butter you will really like the croutons. We had the option of 6 entrees - i had the butterfly pork chops- best i have ever had - gave tastes to 5 people and it was the entree which others wished they ordered. Three of us ordered it - every one of us sent back just the bones - will go back just for the the pork chops. Tried Shrimp Scampi, Prime Rib, salmon, chicken picatta, and sirloin- all solid and good but the pork really was the star in my opinion. About $100 per person with tax & tip - great deal since we did full open bar - would of been 2-3x more on strip and service and food quality would not be better. Last time we ate here the bread basket was GREAT and really the only part of the meal I remember (10+ years ago) bread tonight was ok - some said it was too hard. If all you need to do is work on your bread, your doing a damn good job.

A great prime rib spot in north Las Vegas, located in the Cannery Hotel & Casino. The ambiance is always great, never too busy but I would recommend calling ahead of time for a table just in case! The food is great, we love getting a house salad, prime rib, and sometimes dessert if we're not too full! A great spot for a family dinner or a date night with the loved one!

Carved Prime Rib is a Steakhouse located in the Cannery Hotel/Casino in North Las Vegas. I have had several great experiences here with service and we used to enjoy the 10 ounce ground-in-house prime rib burgers here. This LAST visit differed very much from the previous. We started out by ordering a bottle of wine. Our server brings out wine glasses that have water in them. I spill out the water in front of the server. She said the water is just from cleaning and has no clue that water in a wine glass is a problem. NOBODY wants water of any kind added to their wine. We order our usual 10 oz ground in house Prime Rib Burgers. My husband orders his Medium-Rare and I order mine medium. The last two visits the burgers still were good but over cooked so we told our server and she said she's order my husband's burger rare so it would be over cooked. Time passes and we get our two WELL DONE dense burgers that don't even taste like the delicious way they used to taste. and have a very different texture. I don't know if they actually were prime rib burgers because they could pass as frozen fast food type burgers. I thought my burger even looked smaller than it usually looks. We told the server and latter the manager. A re-make was not offered instead the manager just took one ($24.) burger off our bill. We told him we'd never come back. The 10 ounce (?) Prime Rib (?) burger is not acceptable served dried out and well done with a similar taste to a commercial ground beef taste like a dried out fast food burger. If they were out of Prime Rib for burgers then they should just 86 them for the evening. And to finish it off our server accidentally (?) gives us someone else's bill that is at least $100.00 more than ours. Glad my husband noticed. We do not plan to return and do not currently recommend.

A good Judy of mine is a regular at the cannery casino and racked up some serious points for a free steak dinner for two. I went into this with high expectations because in my experience most of the older steak houses in Vegas are great. Carve proved my instincts to be right. Inside is definitely an old school steakhouse vibe, nothing very special about the décor, however the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive. She was very knowledgeable about wine and helped me pick out a cabernet for my specific steak. I also indulged in a lemon drop and it was mixed perfectly. All the staff worked together to accommodated us and I appreciated that.

Excellent Service by female bartender. Very enjoyable time. The veal tomahawk chops w/Gnocchi (a bit too much, over crowded the plate), asparagus n tiramisu was amazing. ambience is relaxing. Very enjoyable time and meal. Will definitely go back.

This was the worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. We had a large party of 7 and waited about 40 minutes to be seated (on a holiday, granted, so if that were the only issue it wouldn't be that big of a deal). Our initial drink order was not taken for another 15 minutes after that, and then we waited over an hour to get our food. We actually had to ask for our food to go, since by the time it arrived it was over 2 hours past our initial reservation time. When the food did finally arrive, it was just okay and they added mushrooms to a burger I asked for no mushrooms on. Restaurant staff told us the issue stemmed from the kitchens printer malfunctioning, which seems like a very lame excuse. Not one server had a pen and paper or could just talk to kitchen staff? Staff themselves were very kind, but was a rough experience, and I cannot recommend this establishment.

Same shit, different restaurant. Nobody gives a shit anymore. Came in, no bartender for 5 minutes, walked out and went to another place within the casino and was immediately attended to and they were busy unlike carve. Bro was honest and said 45 minute wait for food because of a server calling in sick. I appreciated the honesty and left and went back to carve. Bartender was there this time, made my order of app, salad and prime rib. All came out at basically the same time, with no silverware or napkin l. Had to wait till the bartenders recognized that. Food was nothing special and nothing that really stood out. No bread basket offered ot brought out like everyone else and i am sick of asking for things that should be done automatically. Whatever. Bottom line is, i stay here often due to business, but I wont be back becuase i have a rental car and ther are so many other places to try. This place failed me and i was expecting so much more as a first time diner.

Classy old school Steakhouse in the Cannery Casino has good meats in steakhouse fashion with EXCEPTIONAL service. Lots of choices on the menu and an attractive, well stocked bar. The Best Thing about Carve is the Top Notch service. The waiters are attentive and professional. You could see they take pride in their work! Daniel, the manager, leads by example and greets customers as they enter. It's nice going to a restaurant where you feel valued as a customer! Recommend! The Best Classy Steak place in North Las Vegas.

I will never come back. I just left this place after TWO HOURS. Today is Father's Day and my dad decided he wanted prime rib for dinner and picked this place because it was nearby and had decent reviews. We had a reservation at 6:30pm and we did not leave until 8:30pm. More than half of our experience was waiting, looking around and wondering where our food, or even our waiter, was. We essentially had a 3 course meal and waited 30 minutes between each course including 30 minutes for someone to come up to us to offer water or bread after we have already sat down. We waited all that time and the food was mediocre at best and I'm overall extremely disappointed. There was apologies or acknowledgement of our prolonged wait time even though it was obvious that we were looking around for help the entire time. We felt ignored and forgotten which is hard to believe since we were a party of 6. Most of the tables around us that had already left were also not cleared until we were getting towards the end of our meal (or the end of their shift, I assume, since they close at 9). I'm not sure if they were understaffed and trying to catch up on things, but there is no excuse as there are expectations that we had for a the establishment and hardly any of them checked any boxes. It is difficult for my family to find time to get together and have a meal as my siblings and I are all adults now. I very much regret coming here on the one few nights we were able to all come together. Especially considering the fact that we were celebrating my father. Please do better.
