The BBQ Mix Plate was scrumptious and reasonable pricing at $15 and the wait time for the food was fine. I like how they had their Mac on the side instead of inside the food to go container which was different from other locations I've been to and the portions seemed fair for rice and the bbq mix, but the bbq beef could have been more. Loved the short ribs the best!! The chicken was also tasty. The Teri sauce was yum which turned each bite up a notch.

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is a chain of casual Hawaiian Restaurants that offer the Hawaiian Plate Lunch. That means you get an enormous amount of food. You get a styrofoam box packed with lots of meat, lots of rice, and other things. My neighbor highly recommended L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. He said that it is the best of the Hawaiian Restaurants near us so I thought I needed to try it. This location shares a community patio with a few other restaurants that is only two doors down so I brought my dogs with me to enjoy some food. We all shared a variety of things. I liked some things more than other things today. I thought the best of the bunch was the BBQ Chicken Healthier Plate. The chicken really was VERY GOOD and was a TRIPLE portion of food. They gave me THREE tender delicious chicken boneless thighs with a generous amount of tasty brown rice and salad. This platter was very good I'd get it again. Maybe the next best were the Chicken Potstickers. They were tasty and we were also given a large portion. The Spam Musubi was also very good. Me and my husband feel different from each other on the Spicy Beef. He would order it again. To me it was more like sweet and spicy beef. Maybe I have old dull teeth? I wasn't able to chew it. We also tried the fried fish. It had that supermarket frozen fish taste so I am not sure if I will try the other fish dishes but they offer several that I was interested in? You won't go wrong with the Healthier Chicken BBQ Plate or the Chicken Potstickers. I also LIKE that they don't charge extra for brown rice here. Three stars is a positive review on Yelp and translates to A-OK.

This review is in comparision to the many l and l's I went to in Los Angeles. First off they are not lying the front door is super heavy. The place was a regular sit down place nothing fancy or stands out about it. The lady who took my order was polite but would be nice is she smiled or seemed happy to be there. But whatevers. As for the food. First it's very pricey for the amount of food you get. I ordered a plate and the Mac was cool, rice okay, but as for the ribs those were way over salted to the point that I only ate one and threw rest away. The chicken I should've known was burnt because you could smell it when I opened the box. Funny thing is that they put the burnt part on bottom which was not cool. Overall for the 34.00 I paid for 2 plates I would not go again. I ended up eating the Mac, rice , one rib and a piece of chicken.

We've been to few L&Ls and this one just didn't have the aloha like the others. The food was ok. It definitely did not "broke da mouth"! Service, I don't even know where to start. They can for sure do better. A smile here and there would be nice. Sadly, this L&L won't be one of the ones we go to-- even though it's closest to us. We'd rather drive further for better service with real aloha vibe!

Lumpia way over cooked (burnt) Spam musubi undercooked (almost raw) First time ordering from here and it will be the last. I never complain about food but this is ridiculous

Everything was just perfect. I love the chicken and I love the fish plate and of course I love the macaroni salad. The service is very fast and took great care of you and the ambience is more of like people coming to pick their food up. There wasn't a lot of people sitting in the restaurant, but there was a lot of people picking their food at I love this place.

Me and my wife usually go to this place to eat we love to food but every time we go the cashier of the name ( Katie ) who is always their always has a attitude and we spend a lot of money here this recent time today we came to order food as always the lady was very rude we told her we wanted an order of egg rolls with are other food by the time we got to the car I checked the bag and they weren't in there so I went back in and asked for egg rolls and immediately she started giving attitude at this point I'm irritated because this is not how you treat someone who spends a lot of money at this restaurant I told her that she doesn't have to be rude and she starts raising her voice saying how am I being rude and I tell her the way she is speaking to me and She says "well how do you want me to speak to you" and I told her to speak to me like I'm a customer she continues to keep raising her voice talking very rude so I ask her can I speak to manager she says that "your speaking to her" then I tell her well can I speak to someone higher up then her and she says she owns the place and I state you would think you would respect someone who spends money here all the time I asked her what's her name her name is Katie or Kate whatever i promise I will never come here ever again she just lost some good costumer's

Ordered spam musubi and the spam was barely cooked. I had to fry it when I got home because nobody is trying to eat spam musubi with raw spam. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this location. The location on Buffalo and Lake Mead hits every time. I'll never go back here. Straight trash.

The lady taking the order was very rude and had no manners she had an attitude the whole time we were ordering and when we left she came up to me and told me to not steal soda from the machine for my water cup even though I had bought a cup for soda and filled the water cup up with lemonade once we were leaving very rude and disrespectful never going to eat here again the food was all fat for the ribs and had no meat. Broccoli was dry and had no seasoning. Very disappointing since we come here often.
