Came in for a quick sit down lunch since I work in the area and it was taco Tuesday! Great deal on a basket of 6 beef tacos (appetizer) and they were good. Yummy salsa too, fresh and tasted home made. The service was great, very friendly servers. The restaurant transported me to Mexico for sure, I felt like I was in a happy space filled with joy! Next time I will try the margaritas in the bar area. Great ambiance!

Surf City Bar and Grill is a surf themed bar with high tops that offers Mexican Food, drinks, a cigarette machine, some gaming, and they are open 24-7. They are located on the side of a strip mall in North Las Vegas so parking is easy. They started us off with complimentary chips and pretty good roasted smokey salsa. I tried the Pollo Asada and a Golden Cadillac Margarita. The margarita was pretty good and pretty strong. The pollo asada was an enormous plate of food. The chicken was marinated and was pounded as thin as a lasagna noodle. One end came out dried up. It was good on the one end. The chicken was topped with mixed frozen-type vegetables (peas, corn, carrots, green beans) To the side was rice and fajita type vegetables. I think my favorite part of the plate was the fajita type vegetables. They gave me a good amount of them too and I let my husband have some. He enjoyed them with the Chile Verde. Service was average. They forgot to bring water and silverware but we eventually got them. Pretty average experience. Not the best but also not the worst either. You certainly can do worst in this area. 3 stars is a positive experience that translates to A-OK on Yelp.

Good vibe and clean place with always good service. This review is for the chicken wings. I wasn't a huge fan of the Mexican fare so that is not part of this review. My wife and I are huge chicken wing people and 98% of them out there only differentiate themselves from others based on some sauce concoction they dreamed up. These a totally legit and stand above the rest because the breading they use. No sauce needed which is a true test. These are easily in my top 5 for Las Vegas and we've ordered wings in at least 50-60 places in Vegas. We stop in here quite often just to get the wings and a beer.

I've only been here ince t ok eat and a couple times for a quick beer as I just moved to this area. Beachy inside, fun vibe. I had the seafood flautas and they were bomb!!! Sorry I was hungry and didn't take a pic haha. Staff has always been friendly. Amanda and April are the best!!! I look forward to eating a meal and not just an app next time! Thumbs up!

The bartenders hands down carry this place! It has a neighborhood vibe and a ton of regulars. They will hook you up with some chips and salsa from the attached restaurant Que Mas and their Mexican food is great. The only downside is the .50 cent limit on the machines.

Played keno. Samen6 numbers. Same 2 credits. Same bet over and over. The game malfunctions and bets max under a different game. I tell the bartender and not only does she call me a liar but continues to belittle me as if it were my first time gambling and proceeds take the max bet I didn't want to make fore and cashed me out after. Don't ever go to this bar ! These people are hot garbage !

Came in for the first time the other day and had Zach as my bartender, he gave the most amazing service. I usually don't leave reviews but Zach has made this bar my go-to, I don't think I need another bar if Zach is working. Food was amazing and the ambience was perfect, dimly lit with great decorations. If you ever want a perfect chill night out, visit Surf's when Zach is working!

I had recently ordered pick up from here and was running late picking up my order. The bartender (who is also apparently the gm) said someone already came and picked up my food. Ok, fine things happen however I was in a rush to get home so my babysitter could leave and didn't have time for them to remake the order. She said they will not refund my money and I need to dispute the charge with my bank. That is so crazy to me. She then tried to blame it on me for being an hour late to pick up. I'm also contacting BBB because I they should just refund me since she told me she gave me order to some random person!

I went here for the first time with my dad for dinner. We sat at a table near the door, so I only got to see a little of the place, which was what I could see from our vantage point. The surfboards hanging on the wall make for a fun motif, but other than that, I didn't really get a "surf city grill" vibe from the place. The menu here is quite extensive, and after hemming and hawing for longer than I probably should have, I ordered the sizzling enchiladas, which turned out to be a LOT of food. The enchiladas were good, but just a bit on the dry side; some regular enchilada sauce would have been a good - and welcome -addition. Also, on the menu, the onions were said to be sweet; this was not the case, however. The beans and rice were also good. As far as I could tell, the bartendress was the only person taking orders (someone else brought the food out), but she did a pretty good job of keeping up, despite a pretty good crowd. I would have liked to have had a better selection of beer, but the Dos Equis Amber paired pretty nicely with the enchiladas. My dad (who had the chicken fingers with fries and said they were good) thought the pricing was high, but he's 85 and doesn't get out much. I thought $15 for my meal was pretty much on target. I would definitely return here, and try another option from their very large menu.
