I've been to several events at E Lounge over the years, so when it came time to plan my son's Bar Mitzvah reception, there was really no question where we wanted to celebrate. From our very first meeting with Barry and Ellen, everything was easy, organized, and stress-free. They completely brought our vision to life -- the room was absolutely stunning, and the food was beyond delicious. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, from helping coordinate cash payments to letting us bring our own alcohol, and even allowing me to come in a few days early to set up décor. It truly felt like they cared as much about our event as we did. E Lounge is simply the best, and we wouldn't hesitate for a second to host our other son's event there when the time comes.

We had our school's 5th grade dance at Elounge. The venue was beautiful and the staff was great. All the kids and parents were raving about it. Ellen was very responsive and answered all of our questions and provided a lot of good information. We can't thank you enough

I had my wedding reception and cocktail party here because I wanted a nightlife type of theme. It was exactly what I wanted but I will say the outside doesn't scream 'classy'. The party I had was years ago, I'm finally chiming in on the setting, service and food because it was part of the package I bought. Barry was available to set up everything and gather all the details. He was courteous and professional throughout the planning. He really catered to whatever I wanted with totally reasonable rates. The day before my wedding his daughter met with me and took over for the day of event planning. On the 'day of' she dealt with my headache photobooth vendor so I didn't need to worry. We used the recommended florist with amazing table set up and glowing vases filled with orchids. I was wowed by the room. The bar was jumping, food was delicious and everyone had a great experience. I had no complaints at all!

We finally hosted my daughter's pandemic-delayed Bat Mitzvah party at E Lounge last weekend and it was everything we hoped for! The setting was fun and cool, but still glam, everybody loved the food, and Barry and Ellen were great to work with and super accommodating. I will definitely host an event there again, we loved it and our guests all had a blast!

Working With Ellen In The Beginning Was Great , No Issues Or Any Inconveniences Up Until The Day Of My Reception Which Was June 18th . First & Foremost The AC Was Broken & It Felt Like A Complete Sauna Upstairs Which Caused My Cousin To Take His Wife & Son Back To Their Hotel Because Their Son Got Heat Rash . Secondly , She Gave Me 3 Damn Near 4 Different Stories About What Happened In Regards To My Left Over Cake , Cupcakes & Remaining Meals We Had Left Due To No Shows . First She Told Me We Had Nothing Left Over To Pick Up , Then My Cake " Collapsed " & They Had To Toss It , Then We Apparently Had & 3rd Of Cake Left & Lastly My Cupcakes Are Still There In The Refrigerator AFTER ALMOST 2 WEEKS ! During The Period Of It Being So Damn Hot My Husband Ended Up Passing Out & A Friend Took Him Downstairs . She Then Stated An Employee Came Downstairs & Asked What Should They Do With The Food ...... FALSE ! Not One Person Walked Downstairs. The Food & Cake Could Have Been Given To My Grandmother, Her Boyfriend & My 2 Aunts Who Were Upstairs Packing Up Because I Was Downstairs With My Husband . A Bridesmaid Also Went Upstairs & Checked To Make Sure Everything Was Ok & Ellen's Employees Didn't Say Anything About Cake Or Food , They Were Busy Sitting Down & Talking . Soon After I Ended Up Passing Out As Well & My Husband & I Were Taken To The Hospital . So In My Eyes My Stuff Was Either Thrown Out Or They Took My Stuff Home . Just For The AC Not Working I Should Indeed Be Compensated . My Contract Was Also Not Abided By Because I Didn't Get My Leftover Food & That Should Be Compensated As Well ! She Also Offered To Buy Us A New Cake But Refuses To Pay The $500 That I Paid . I Will Not Accept Anything Smaller ! If Any Of My Above Issues Are Not Compensated We Will Be Going To Small Claims Court !!!!!!

We chose Barry and Ellen to cater our wedding in 1998 and have enjoyed many simchas with their food and service ever since. They have catered all three of our children's B'nai Mitzvah celebrations - the most recent being this past weekend. Each time, they have been excellent with their service and professionalism. The food is always delicious and the guests all comment to me as such. In meetings prior to events, they listen to what you want and make suggestions along the way. I would not hire another caterer...I've heard some horror stories out there. You can't go wrong with Barry Caterer or the E Lounge!

I had a very bad experience with a BarMitzvah event that we paid over $5000.00 for. We put the money down and once we did, the owners were rude and unresponsive. Good luck getting any service once they get their money/down payment or getting any type of exact quote for the services they provide. While I knew I was being ripped off I thought if I just payed their "ransom" money they would at least provide the services promised- boy was I wrong! On the morning of the event, I came into the lounge to find it looked like a funeral home with black linens (we had ordered red for the coca cola theme BarMitzvah- I had taken off work to meet with them to order these linens). I had to leave my guests and pre-photo session and run upstairs to tell Ellen. However, instead of apologizing she argued with me that black was fine and the "shit happens". After a huge fight (that caused me a migraine on the morning of the event) her and Barry finally got the issue fixed (with the help of their underpaid and exploited workers). One worker (Jay) was very nice- I think she felt sorry for me - and was extremely helpful in decorating the room and it looked nice so I thought everything would be fine. Boy was I wrong! At 3:47 (42 minutes before the 4:30 party end time) the lights were abrubtly turned on, and the linens flung off the chairs in preparation for the next event (Ellen's friends son's wedding). I again argued and showed Ellen the contract that stated the end time of the event was at 4:30 and she just ignored me. The kids were kicked out of the room and into the street as the invite said parents should come at 4:30 (I did not see the "security" Barry forced me to pay for $350.00 anywhere) and guest's belongings were thrown off the tables in a heap. I was so busy arguing with Ellen and collecting gifts, food etc., I was unable to say good bye to guests nor oversee the children into their parents cars or give them goody bags I had prepared. I have written to Barry and Ellen and asked for a $500.00 refund for kicking us out of the event 40 minutes early but have gotten no response and doubt I ever will until I take them to small claims court. Moral of story- know what you are getting into when you book here. Barry and Ellen (or really their very talented, overworked and underpayed mexican staff) can do a good job but they are unorganized and the stress it causes is simply not worth the price. I would NEVER use this venue again.

We had our sons B'Nai Mitzvah at the E-lounge last night and it was amazing! Ellen and Barry and their whole staff made sure everything was perfect from beginning to end! The room looked great and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the E-lounge for any party or event.

I have attended many amazing events here. The food is great along with their extremely friendly staff. You can clearly see there is a lot of pride of ownership. I love E Lounge and cannot wait to celebrate my daughter's Bat Mitzvah here in less than two years! There is no better place to party!
