BAKERY REVIEW ONLY! I mistakenly ordered a birthday cake here instead of my usual and much closer Evesham (Ravitz) SR. The cake was beautifully decorated and utterly fresh and absolutely delicious! I didn't buy any food, just some plates and cups. I have to say, just walking by, it looked very clean and smelled super good - not sure what the scent was. It's doubtful that Ill be back here again, but the bakery rocks (I was perusing while I was waiting for my cake).

Needed something and was in the area of this store. I was shocked that the deli department did not wait on customers. As a matter of fact the wall was so high you couldn't even see the employees. You had to order from a computer like you were in WaWa. Before I pay 19.00 a pound for roast beef I actually like to see it and it being sliced. To make matters worse a customer that was waiting for their order snapped out yelling and screaming on the top of their lungs about how long they were made to wait. What a frightening experience. Needless to say this Shoprite will never see me again. Awful experience today. Awful store.​

This is a horrible location the staff watches you at the checkout I feel extremely uncomfortable they make everyone feel like they are thieves but yet I seen someone walking out the exit with a gallon of milk without paying they need to watch the exits and not the registers

The Lawnside ShopRite is so much better than the Cherry Hill ShopRite near the former Garden State racetrack. Among other things, the Lawnside store has a proper bakery with some relatively high-quality products, whereas the Cherry Hill store is getting its baked goods from God knows where, and the baked goods are generally high-priced, artificial, and not fresh-tasting. While the Cherry Hill ShopRite improved somewhat about two years ago due to a remodel, its only claim to fame appears to be that it offers a large range of kosher goods, which is not a plus for most potential customers who don't need kosher. The Cherry Hill ShopRite appears to attract a lot of customers from less affluent areas such as Camden and Pennsauken, and a lesser proportion of customers who can afford better quality products. Also, some of the customer service staff at the Cherry Hill store can be less than helpful, to be kind.

I just had the most unpleasant experience I've ever had at the Garden State Pavilion store. Between Ms Finney who answered the phone and "transferred me to the department I needed" BEFORE I even let her know what I was calling for and the manager on duty Joanne, I'm not sure who was worse. I purchased catfish through Instacart that had an odor so foul, I smelled it before I opened the paper. It was yellow and gray when i opened it, not even sure how the worker could package it and give it to someone. I spoke to Joann about the issue, and she told me to bring it in with the receipt. I get there and now there's nothing she can do. She was very nasty and dismissive about an issue that was the store's fault.

I had to make a small run to pick up two items 5 minutes before they closed. There were only three self checkout lines and all were being utilized and one register(Walmart style lol). So I stood at the register and the girl looked at me with an attitude and said "I'm closed". Like I said, all I had was two items and you couldn't ring me up real quick??? Really???? Man I left them two items and left, I'll wait until tomorrow when I go to Wegmans. Ridiculous

True rating is one star but I gave an additional star because of location. The Cherry Hill ShopRite on Rt. 70 is a decent store, but with limited selections in many areas compared to other stores. The Deli is the WORST!! They put it behind the Iron Curtain and you can't speak to the deli workers. If lucky enough to capture their attention by speaking to the top of their heads, they point you back to the kiosk. Countless times, I've put in an order to the kiosk only to forget it before checking out. I've been loyal to ShopRite for beaucoup years but this process of separating employees from customers is a stupid idea. I have to go to either Wegman's (the default) or the ShopRite on Springdale to interact with humans. When I spoke to the folks at the Customer Service counter, I was told that I'm not alone in my reaction and "isn't that terrible!" One person said that they don't even buy deli cuts from that store. "Mr. ShopRite, TEAR DOWN THAT WALL!"

It depends how vigilant you are. Carry your personal shopping bags on your wrist and/or bring cloth ones that fold into your bag & remove only when ready to bag. Never leave them unattended. Or ANYTHING personal. You may be watched & followed to see if you get absorbed in looking at items & steal! And don't shop when you're tired; this is when absence of mind occurs. Too many issues have plagued me at this location. ALL stores should periodically remind shoppers to keep an eye on their cart or keep your hand on your cart. I had asked the gym on Rt. 70 before it closed (for good) to place a sign upon entering to not leave items in window view when in their dark lot. They wouldn't. It's UP TO YOU to not leave items in your car, even on your driveway. Having moved to this area 6 years ago has posed MANY kinds of problems. People aren't being taught the 8th commandment nor putting it into practice.

Deli employees sit on their phone and talk with each other while not doing anything. I get to the register and find out one of the three items that I requested was not there. Unacceptable!

Whenever I'm in Cherry Hill I come to this grocery store. It's clean and huge which can be a pro or con LOL but for me it's a good thing. I find everything I need when I shop here. Especially during the start of the pandemic it was a challenge to find cleaning supplies. This store never failed as I found bleach, hand sanitizer, wipes and tissue. I know that may not seem like much post COVID-19 yet it is very important. The staff are helpful and friendly. I usually talk to whoever is serving me whether it was at the seafood or deli counter. Come and you won't be disappointed.
