I dag var min första gången ska åka till City Tavern men jag kan försäkra dig det kommer att inte vara min sista! När vi kom in detta pittoreska och trivsam och vänlig anläggning jag möttes av en ung gentlemän med ett stort leende och en mycket uppriktiga " Välkommen till stadens Tavern " , som jag frågade om jag ville sitta i baren eller ett bord, jag valde ett bord. Inom en minut min server hälsade mig och frågade mig för en dryck för vilket jag fick en diet Coke (det är en arbetsdag för mig) och lämnade mig på menyn. Hon kom tillbaka snabbt med min läsk och frågade om jag hade några frågor och jag gjorde. Hon agerar vänligt gjorde en del förslag på den gäller förrätter erbjöd och gick över den dagliga specialerbjudanden. Jag bestämmer mig på " kyckling Sunrise " . Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående, men typisk för detta område, bara tala spanska - få peka!

Litet mysigt ställe som ger utmärkt service. Portionerna är mycket stor och priserna mycket rimligt. Jag hade pisanger och fann dem saknar en söt smak. Stekt bläckfisk var okej. Kyckling marsala var bättre när det blandas med ris. Den marsala verkade som om den hade en lätt smak vilket gjorde att äta det intetsägande. Överlag inte dåligt, men jag känner att maten saknade lite smak.

Maten är fantastisk har det varit i flera år. Älskar deras vitlökssmör på den varma limpa.
Ett utmärkt ställe att träffa vänner eller gå på ett datum bara ihåg att det mycket bullrigt hög musik och folk som försöker prata över varandra.

Den entrana i det här stället är fantastiskt! Så är det shrimp cocktail (alltid färsk) ,de picada, och många andra rätter. Du kan inte gå fel med maten här.. Det trångt matsalen är den missen tillsammans med några av de stamgäster.. Om man kan komma över det och bullret, åk dit för god mat & dryck till bra priser.. om det på något sätt skulle kunna vara mer exklusivt skulle det vara utmärkt, men jag vet området
