Backstory: I oktober 2018 försökte min far att flyga på jobbet på JFK flygplats och gick in i hjärtstopp och blev inlagd på sjukhuset. Sedan vi är från Maryland, kom min syster och jag upp till staden för att vara med min far. En av de dagar vi var här, gick min syster och jag runt den nedre delen av staden och snubblat in i denna absoluta pärla. Först av allt luktar sig själv fantastiskt från smörgåsar och personalen var alla mycket vänliga. Min syster och jag bestämde mig för att beställa svärmor i svärmor att dela och det var fantastiskt. Platsen är ganska liten så vi tog ut smörgåsar utanför för att äta dem på en av de små parkerna i närheten. Jag har aldrig fått namnet på denna plats men har letat efter det ända sedan och äntligen har hittat det! Jag kommer tillbaka för några dagar till min födelsedag nästa januari och det här stället är definitivt på min agenda. Ser fram emot en annan svärmor!

Jag tog nyligen en dagstur till NYC med min pappa. Han ville få en bra reuben. Jag gjorde lite forskning och kom över Court Street Livsmedelsbutiker. De har flera platser så jag valde den närmaste där vi skulle vara. Vi gick nästan rätt förbi den. Det är väldigt angränsande. Det är en liten gemensam (kolla in badrummet!). Killarna arbetar var vänliga och vi väntade inte länge. Menyn på väggen kan vara lite överväldigande - det finns många alternativ. Vi beslutade båda på reuben och det svika inte. Jag gillade hur corned beef skivades, inte rakas och surkålen var finhackad. Brödet var perfekt grillat. Den "comeback sauce" drog allt ihop. Det kan tyckas dyrt på omkring $ 12 men smörgås fyller. Du vet att det är bra när du två veckor senare tänker på hur du kommer tillbaka för att få en annan.
