Bra atmosfär, utmärkt musik, bra val av drycker och mat. Mycket bullrigt dock. Detta skulle ha varit ett betyg på 4 om barmaid inte hade tagit betalt för en dubbel som jag inte beställt och vi inte kom tillbaka på grund av det eller dricks vid den tidpunkten.

Jag skriver för att uttrycka min besvikelse över en upplevelse jag nyligen hade i din bar den 11 juli runt 3 : 30 PM. Jag besökte ditt etablissemang med avsikten att återknyta kontakten med några medarbetare som jag inte hade sett på länge. Vi var fyra totalt — två hade anlänt ungefär fem minuter innan resten av oss gick med. 

När vi kom in, letade vi efter våra vänner och märkte dem sittande i ryggen. När vi gick över, fick vi ögonkontakt med bartendern (en kvinna) och lät henne veta att vi träffade vänner som redan satt. Hennes svar kändes avvisande och ovälkomnande, men vi borstade av det och gick med i vår grupp. 

Ungefär fem minuter senare kom samma bartender fram till oss och sa: ”Det här är ingen lounge, du har varit här för länge. Du måste komma fram för att beställa dina drinkar. Vad tror du att det här stället är?” innan du går därifrån. Vi var chockade, särskilt eftersom baren inte var full, och det var första gången hon hade kommit över för att tala med oss. Vi gick fram till baren för att göra vår beställning, där hon fortsatte att tala till oss i en aggressiv ton. När vi frågade om drinkalternativen svarade hon: ”Det är där uppe, på väggen.” Efter att ha beställt mat och ge henne ett kreditkort, väntade vi i närheten, osäker på om hon behövde något annat från oss. Hennes svar var: ”Stå inte här.” Vi förklarade att vi bara väntade för att se om hon behövde något mer. 

Konstigt nog, efter det samspelet, ändrades hennes uppförande, och hon blev märkbart vänligare. Skadan var dock redan skedd. Hennes första beteende fick oss att känna oss ovälkomna och obekväma. 

Din bar har en vacker atmosfär och design, och jag var uppriktigt glad att tillbringa tid där. Tyvärr har bemötandet vi fick helt förändrat vår uppfattning om ditt företag. Om bartendern helt enkelt hade sagt ”Hej där, bara så att du vet, all mat och dryck måste beställas i baren” hade vi gärna följt med utan problem. 

Jag är inte säker på vad ditt kundserviceprotokoll är, men jag har aldrig blivit tilltalad eller behandlad på det sättet på någon bar i New York — och det säger en hel del. Jag hoppas att denna feedback är till hjälp, och jag hoppas verkligen att åtgärder vidtas för att se till att framtida gäster behandlas med den artighet och professionalism de förtjänar.

Letar du efter en stabil, utan krusiduller pålitlig bar i Hells Kitchen? Se ingen far än Local 42. De erbjuder ett trevligt urval av kranar (Local Lager är $ 4 ) , deras whisky urval är omfattande och bar mat finns tillgänglig. Det är en mycket vänlig plats. Mycket trevlig bar där bartendern säger hej till alla vid inträdet. Vi kände oss hemma sitter i baren beställa välgjorda cocktails. Det finns ett brett utbud av sprit och öl att välja mellan. Menyn hade hamburgare, vingar och bringa smörgåsar. Bartendern sa också att de tar in pizza från nästa dörr också. Vi såg en pizza och den såg fantastisk och rykande varm ut. Mycket cool bar och vi rekommenderar starkt att titta förbi.

Extremt inbjudande och cool plats att ta en drink, mat och pizza i hjärtat av NYC. Vi hade den lokala 42 Draft öl för $ 4 . 00 som du inte kan slå smaken eller priset. Toppade det med Jerk Wings och Pizza som var fantastiska. Det finns ingen bättre plats för den kombinationen i stan. Det finns massor av drinkalternativ, servicen var fantastisk, och maten var utsökt. Bonus vi spelade låtar från deras jukebox som man kopplar ihop med en app. Om du letar efter en välkomnande bar, med ett brett utbud av drycker och mat är detta platsen.

Precis vad jag hoppades på... var att leta efter en klassisk NY dykbar, och den här passade perfekt. 

Öl var alla riktigt bra pris, drycker var bra, maten var trevlig (hade bara ett par bar snacks... cottage pommes frites och lökringar) , och atmosfären och deco var alla bra. 

Verkade vara full av lokalbefolkningen/stamgäster, men hittade ett utrymme i baren och tog några öl. 

Skulle gärna gå tillbaka, och skulle rekommendera.

Vår grupp ville ha en plats att ta ett bås, ta en drink och spendera tid att komma ikapp. Det här stället fyllde notan. Vi väntade på snabbt och trevligt, fick vår mat och dryck snabbt, och var inte pressade att fortsätta köpa drycker. Det var precis vad vi ville. Positivt överraskad över räkningen också. Det är en stadsdel plats, inte en glittrig kedja outfit, och det passade oss bra.
