The other day I got, L&L Pizza & Pasta New York Style, for lunch. I ordered their plain and pepperoni slices. This place was unfortunately highly disappointing. They have the crust down pat and it was absolutely phenomenal. Their New York style crust is done extremely well. The plain slice had a great texture to it, just was not very flavorful. I’d be open to trying the plain slice again. The pepperoni slice on the other hand, I don’t think I could recommend it. The crust was on the thicker side and the sauce made it unable to taste the pepperonis. And I love old world pepps! My biggest point is that the sauce was salty as all heck. The sauce greatly impacts my total score. Maybe their other menu items are good, but I was highly disappointed in the pizza. I’d love to give, L&L Pizza & Pasta New York Style, another try. But it was not off to a great start.

The L&L Pizza& Pasta New York Style is the place where you never be hungry. The food is   Fantastic!!! The most delicious pizza !!! The quality and quantity of portions are the best in NJ!!! I ordered a small calzone with generously stuffed with delicious ricotta and Italian mozzarella cheese , it was delightful tasty crust, the sweetness of marinaras sauce was amazing, also the garlic knots were so good, it’s reminded my childhood home memories. I even couldn’t finish the small size calzone, the portion was so large. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the service was outstanding!!! I appreciate for effort and amazing cooking to make the customers happy and satisfied, I leave  the place with a big smile on my face and I definitely will come back! Thank you!!!😊

We really enjoy this place. The food is excellent and it has a very chill laid back atmosphere. The second time we visited this place was because the   Mexican restaurant next to it had a one hour wait. I'm not waiting one hour and we need that the food here was good. My wife ordered a Italian Stromboli and I had pasta and octopus. They were both exceptionally tasty, and always come out piping hot. In addition, everyone gets a really delicious bread basket with different types of Italian breads, garlic, bruschetta and baked bread. The owner is always cordial and you can see him mingling around talking to people.

If you are in town I would recommend this place. They are fully accessible, and will move tables around  for you if you need them to be moved. The bathrooms are also accessible and there are some accessible parking spots available on the street, or in the parking deck behind the courtyard restaurant area. By the way the prices are really good.

I’ve ordered from L & L more than once before and the pizza was really good, but something had most certainly changed. The pizza had a weird smell, the crust was way too thin (even though the crust was the best part) the sausage looked and tasted off, cheese was chewy, and the sauce was plain nasty. The wings tasted like two day old wings that were retossed in buffalo sauce, dry and chewy. Just overall a very unpleasant experience and a waste of money. I still had to cook after ordering so my daughter could eat. I would not recommend not order from here again. Highly disappointed.
