Min fru och jag fick ett presentkort på denna restaurang. När vi tittade på linje på menyn, det verkade ha en intressant blandning av unika rätter och traditionell pubmat.
När vi kom in, vi mötte en unik unga (vi är "mogna") miljö som var livlig, musik fyllde och var vänlig.
Vi hade en mycket uppmärksam ung man som vår servitör. Vi hade 2 intressanta smörgåsar som vi delade och en äppelsmulpaj med glass till efterrätt.
Vi kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka

Servicen är det värsta - restaurangen är oftast för varmt eller för kallt och servern blir upprörd om du vill flytta till ett annat bord eller stänga dörren. Sista gången vi åkte dit, vi satt i 20 minuter och ingen kom för att ta vår beställning - vi kom upp och vänster och har inte gått tillbaka eftersom.

Om du är ute efter en lätt måltid, ett mellanmål eller en trevlig tårtbit, kom till Van Gogh's.  Restauranger i unionen verkar komma och gå, men Van Goghs har pågått stark sedan mitten av 1990-talet. Bra mat, bra musik och vänlig atmosfär. Levande musik på söndag's ( $4 täcka avgift) och tisdagens (utan kostnad).  Kolla in det någon gång!

Kom hit ungefär en vecka sedan och det är en söt liten plats för dessert och kaffe. Vi inte beställa mat. Jag hade cheesecake som faktiskt var riktigt bra. Och det faktum att de har sojamjölk är ett plus! Definitivt ett ställe att prova om du är en lokal.

Den här veckan mina två barn, jag och min man gick för att äta på VanGoghs öra där min man har gått många gånger innan utan ett klagomål. Den här gången bestämde vi oss för att ta med barnen och, på grund av deras mat allergier, vi plockade upp en mcdonalds happy meal och tog med oss in i restaurangen. Vi frågade servitören om vi kunde få maten för våra barn på grund av deras allergier utan att vi skulle vara att beställa en måltid för oss själva. Kyparen kindly sa till oss att de inte brukar låta mat från utsidan men de skulle göra det här en gång och frågade om vi kunde få bort alla wraps och förpackningar.

Jag hade inga problem med det alls. Men, några minuter senare chefen, Katie, kom med tallrikar och utan någon form av hälsning ohövligt sade, "Du behöver för att få bort alla förpackningar från mat" och sedan bara gick bort. Hon kom igen en minut senare, och då sa, "Detta är en tid. Vi tillåter inte folk att ta med mat från utsidan, allergier eller inte" och sedan gick bara bort igen. Jag var så bekymrad för oss och för mina barn. För en anläggning som marknadsför sig i stora skriv ut på deras meny som de har specialiserat sig på allergiker mat, blev jag chockad att höra detta okänslig kommentar om att ha matallergier. Särskilt när du säger att det om och framför mina små barn. Jag hade hellre hon sa bara oss var vi inte tillåtna att komma med mat från början och vi skulle ha lämnat rätt från början.

Dessutom, hon satt i kaffebaren läser en papper medan vår server stod bredvid henne surfing på sin mobiltelefon medan vi satt med smutsiga tallrikar framför oss på ett tag. Hon aldrig upp vad han gjorde eller skickat honom över till vårt bord trots att han stod precis bredvid henne. Jag slutligen fick ringa honom över att ta med sig sin attentiion till högen med smutsiga tallrikar som hade legat framför mig.

Jag är så besviken på grund av vad som brukade vara en av våra favorit platser att åka till. Jag kommer aldrig att åka dit igen.
