Not the greatest HGI, but, ok for a one night stop over. Rooms were good. Restaurant/bar gets a 3 star. I don't understand why they don't have a few more "standard options for salad dressing. Thousand Island is pretty typical. Drinks are very expensive/short pours and they were short on glasses?? Also, every meal is "cookie cutter". The guy next to us asked for a hamburger patty instead of the salmon in his Cobb salad. Evidently, it's not allowed. For what the guy is paying, being a little flexible shouldn't be out of the question.

Hotel is good overall. The parking is not the best. We spent 30 minutes after getting ice cream one evening trying to find somewhere to park and were told to we could park down the road at a "sister hotel" and get an uber or the shuttle back. A lot of people were partying as well and had alcohol in the pool and then left their small children in the pool unattended to drink in a nearby conference room. I was there with my two kids and left the pool. The breakfast attended, Julio, was extremely nice and attentive to us. Hotel staff is kind overall. I would stay again.

Oof. Okay, first off, the service is excellent. The people who work here are kind and passionate about what they do. They deserve 5-stars. The location however? Big yike. My partner and I stayed here for a few days to conclude our house-hunting visit to ABQ and, honestly, we wished we had paid the extra money to be at the Double Tree by the civic center. We picked this spot because the website said it had a pool and hot tub. Okay, half true. There is a pool. And there... was? A hot tub? Before it was filled with cement? This should be listed on the site. Also the door to the pool area was broken, as were many of the key-card operated doors. They got a person out to fix it but the issue was not resolved before we left. The rooms were... pretty gross. Old and smelled like smoke. The first room they put us in, the door didn't close all the way and the handle was broken. The second room smelled less like smoke and had a functioning door, but our room key kept not working. So many trips up and down to get functioning keys. And the breakfast is $15+ per person. Want less than a full meal? They list out prices for each item. But the parking *is* free, unlike the double tree by the civic center. And, they have underground parking with an elevator that goes up to the rooms, so there's that. Finally, the poor staff. It was so hot in the lobby, but they weren't allowed to change the thermostat. I went down there for food and was sweating, I can't even imagine what the staff had to deal with, working in the hot kitchen or standing at the front desk in a long sleeve shirt, with the heat blasting on an already-warm day. Apparently corporate has to change the temps for them? Not great. In all, stay here if you must but there are definitely better options.

The staff were helpful and kind. The place however can use some renovation of some sort in the rooms? My room had poor lighting, rust stains, and dirty areas here/there. BUT, I'm grateful due to there was no BB's in sight! The bed was comfortable. They do have a mini bar/restaurant but it's best to maybe eat somewhere else due to lack of variety. Overall stay was decent, they just need to up their cleaning game.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - business trip THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off of Yale Blvd SE and Randolph Rd SE - located extremely close to Albuquerque International Sunport THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - very nice bar/lounge area and lobby area (lots of natural sunlight) - my room was a decent size and had what I needed - my room was overlooking some dirt and parking for Albuquerque International Sunport CUSTOMER SERVICE: - did check-in/check-out through the Hilton app and had no issues with my stay, so didn't have any contact with the staff

**RIGHT NEXT TO THE AIRPORT AND LONGTERM PARKING** Way too tired for the 2+ hours drive home in the rainy darkness Customer service is fine Nice, clean, welcoming lobby Room was cozy and clean enough. I'm way too tired to get the sheets replaced (the top was dirty) Much safer to sleep and drive home tomorrow. Be safe out there!

Such a disappointment to start a long planned vacation with this hotel dropping the ball completely on our room selection. If you dont have the where with all to honor selections then don't ask us to make them. We were told by way of excuse from a very exciteable and unprofessional attendant that "a bunch of high school kids all checked in and out at once! Lady, what made you think they wouldn't? Kind of stands to reckon right? We want two hours for them ready our room and still it wasn't ready and that could not guarantee it would be. No apology no attempt to remedy. Sounds like piss poor management to me. And hey, no mas. Plenty of other places to stay.

A bit nostalgic about this hotel, as it was the very first place that I stayed while visiting Albuquerque for the first time more than 15 years ago. Of course, within that time, this property has undergone tremendous renovations in keeping up with the other hotel Joneses within the area. Let's start with location- it doesn't get any better than this. Its literally within spitting distance of the airport. You can practically walk to the airport from here if you wanted to. Yale Blvd also has several breakfast-themed restaurants such as Village Inn and Wafflehouse nearby, as well as other regular restaurants and bars. This HGI does offer food at certain hours, and has a bar with good drink selections. The room is fairly standard for an HGI- fluffy bed, yet not too firm. Not much of a view of Albuquerque unless you love mountains and desert. I do like the fact that the walls aren't paper-thin, unless you enjoy screaming in pleasure. One of the best features of this property is the underground parking. Parking on the outside of this property is tight and very limited. However, there appears to be far more parking underground than there is above. And guess what? Its free! Overall, a very relaxing and productive stay at this HGI next to the airport. With exception to the weird way my bed linen and towels were set up (I think that housekeeping just forgot to do something), I didn't have any major issues here.

It's a run of the mill airport hotel. AC in lobby wasn't working so it was like 100 deg inside.staff was friendly but one could sense their frustration about the AC being out. Electronic room key didn't work, even after I asked about it. Next time I'll stay at the HGI downtown!
