The Owner of this establiosment is MORALLY BANKRUPT!!! WE helped them get through a tough time and she has REFUSED TO pay her bills she owes us over 100 thousand dollars and REFUSES to pay after we not only provided her the service but also assisted them (her and her son) get some of their hotel back up and running, We will be protesting outside of their establishment in the near future to shame them and advise anyone staying there of their dishonest business practices, also will be getting the news involved!! Adena... we are coming!!!

We bought $850 worth of equipment from Nic including a refrigerator. He said that he has had a lot of work done to it, it worked and that the only reason he was selling it was because he had bought another one. We drove from the 4 corners area to pick it up. It does not work. We did lay it down during transport but we had a professional look at it and he absolutely said this is not the issue. The professional said that he can tell when work has been done and he cannot tell that anything was done to it. I've asked Nic for the paperwork and he said he would send it but now he no longer answers my messages. My bad, lesson learned, but be careful. In my opinion these people are not trustworthy.

Stayed here for a night while passing through the town. The price was OK, but not the best (over $55 for two people). The rooms themselves were very spacious with two queen sized beds. Unfortunately, they did have that cheap motel smell of cigarettes and mold, but that seems inescapable. The absolute best thing about this place is the location. It's right next to some very good restaurants, near some stores, and both blockbuster and Hollywood video. So if you stay here, you'll have plenty of places to go.

DO NOT park in the lot beside the now closed Korean BBQ/Sushi restaurant. The Hiway House apparently owns this entire lot and you WILL BE BOOTED and TICKETED! While I should have erred on the side of caution, I figured if the restaurant was closed for good, I'd be ok. What makes me most angry? The time on the ticket is +/- 10 minutes of me parking there. That tells me they sit there, watch for people to park there and walk away, then go ticket and boot. They could easily change the sign or something rather than preying on us. Shoot, I'd have even paid to park there! It's cool Hiway House, you got your $75, but know, karma has a way of dealing with people like you.

I wish I could give zero stars. We stayed less than three hours and decided to jolt out without even asking for a refund. Dirty, scary, outdated, no hair dryer, dead bugs in the mini-fridge, unsafe (door barely locked), dog food on the floor from previous victim... oops I mean guest, we were afraid of bed bugs, bars on the windows, no fitted sheet on the bed, smelled terrible, did I mention dirty? Ended up swallowing the cost of this motel to escape to a MUCH NICER hotel just 2 miles away that was actually 25 bucks less. The Plaza Inn, if anyone wants a better option. Literally, the only good thing about this motel is it's location. Use the 25 bucks you save by going to the Plaza Inn to get yourself a cab and a couple extra beers. Or, if your not a sissy, you could honestly walk to the Plaza Inn.

If you want a clean, cheap-ish, no-frills motel near all the cool stuff, then definitely stay here. my brother and I are driving across the country and decided to spend a night in albequerque without knowing much about the city. we decided, based on travel books, to stay in nob hill, for it's location, commerce, and location to other areas. we wanted to stay in a cheap motel instead of camping and this seemed like the best option (and least likely place to get bed bugs). though it is a little pricey the front desk staff worked with us poor graduate students and were very nice. I'm glad we decided to stay here.

Staff was very nice, accommodating, and friendly. Room was clean and was very dated, but I'm into that sort of thing, so it worked for me. I was actually hoping I'd get a room that hadn't been renovated yet. I got a room with a kitschy headboard and a deep red 70's bedspread. Score! This place is close to everything we needed and it worked out for us. We would stay here again!

Super nice staff. Room...so-so. Can't really control the a/c. It's just on or off. A very old dial above the headboard. So old, can't see what's on and what's off. Either way, we needed it on, and the staff apparently knew, because after we got into our room, they brought us a rotating fan so sit on the table. WiFi did not work in room, as we had a corner room next to the laundry, and was constantly dropping us from their network. Good location though. Close to shops and food. But better hotels in the area. Pics don't look like the hotel. The place has been renovated since. It's blue and white. Has somewhat of a Key West look to the place....

If you want updated rooms or luxury of any sort, this is not the hotel for you. But, if you want a clean, friendly, cheapish, classic Route 66 motel in a great location, this is a good bet. The orange shag carpets are always clean, the family who run the place are usually friendly, and it is right in Nob Hill with many local stores and restaurants within walking distance.
