Went to Taco Santo for the first time last week and I can't stop thinking about their margarita! I ordered a fish taco and a steak taco, they were very filling and so good. I like that they offer the vegetarian options. My husband tried the brussel sprout and the cauliflower tacos. He said they were so good and I believe him because they smelled amazing. Our other favorites were the chips! Guac and the queso!

How did I forget to review this place? I dropped in for lunch with a then teammate (shout out Destiny L!) and we were excited to check out this newish spot. First, they're in a great location and have a spacious patio that I hope they can put to good use with live music or pop up events. We ordered so much food! And their portions are more than fair. We started with "The Trio" (salsa, queso, guac) and chips and an order of the tuna tostada app (came with two). All that pair with elote, I was pretty full. But we had some tacos to top it all off. All of their inventive tacos were appealing (brussels sprouts taco, bahn mi taco, baja fish, roasted cauli) but the chicken al pastor with pineapple spoke to me since I don't eat pork and never get to enjoy al pastor flavors. Service was a bit slow, but they had just opened when we went in spring, so all good.

We tried Taco Santo on Central @ High Street today and it did not disappoint! * chips n guacamole queso salsa trio with warm chips and cheesy queso was bomb * we all tried bowls n salads n tacos and it was all quite good, but when i go back i wont get any Asian theme tacos. Classic are the way to go. * margaritas were on point, the house marg is * don't miss this new spot! * kids menu for los ninos! * when summer hits I predict it will be poppin! * chill and casual inside, can't wait to see what they do with the patio * service was okay, I hope they keep improving

I'm sitting here right now and Yelpers need to chill out... good lord give a new business a chance! This place is 5 star all the way. Flew in from LA, asked my hotel shuttle driver where I should eat if I had one meal. Rafael said there were too many options but he named Taco Santo immediately - likely due to the fact it's a 3 minute walk from the hotel but lord, the man did me a solid. I even explained that I was flying in from LA and therefore had high standards for Mexican foods/tacos, etc, and he stood by his choice. To drink: Santo margarita -- one and I was done, lol. To eat - from the selection of tacos: Chicken al pastor --- 12/10, it is spicy and it burns in the best way Korean short rib - tender tender tender Brussels sprout - sweet and smoky I was just thinking that the last time I'd received genuinely nice service was when I was in Greece, when I was presented with a free dessert in the form of their lime tart - uhm, yes. You know when the last time I got great service AND free dessert? Greece. Ugh, what a great start to my weekend in Albuquerque, thank you!!!

This place was great! Had a few margaritas and tacos and everything was delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. Little loud inside so it was kind of hard to hear my table talk to each other. But overall I would come again.

Went on Saturday, it was packed, but found a seat. The game was on, drinks were being made, and all the food looked delicious. It's a cool place, will miss the burgers but happy they found a new concept. I recommend the Bahn Mi Taco and the Short rib taco! Grab some chips and queso while you wait.

I'm usually a taco truck person but last night my friend and I felt like going to a sit down restaurant. We saw the restaurant and decided to stop by and check it out and all I can say is that the service was awful and the food is not worth the price. In regard to the service, I had to ask for napkins twice because they kept forgetting to bring them. I also asked for more lime because they give you a tiny sliver, and it never came. They brought a large water bottle for the table so they hardly came to check in on the drink situation until we were done with dinner. I would have ordered another drink if they had checked in a bit earlier when I was still eating. The food itself was mediocre and very messy, definitely not worth more than a couple bucks a taco. You need like a napkin per taco, which is rough when the waitstaff keeps forgetting to bring napkins. By the way, the chips tasted like they were fried in old grease, confirmed by the color of the tortillas (darker brown not golden). They also put hot sauce on top of the queso, I could have really done without it. I don't plan on coming back or recommending this place. I'll stick to the taco trucks.

Went to eat here and was not impressed. This place was Previously a hamburger place called Holy Cow and I loved it! Now it's a Taco place. Got the steak tacos and they wear cold along with the corn tortillas. My meat was rare and they didn't even ask If wanted my meat well done. Customer service was not very friendly either. I Don't recommend.
